Just want to share some modded apps and framework, all stock only a bit more flat.
Apps are for stock based 4.1.2 roms, results are similar to latest Touchwiz versions.
Apps may FC at first start, that's why they need to be restarted once modded, then they will launch as usual.

Mod will apply on default actionbar background in apps that use it (Settings, My Files, Messaging, Xposed, etc..) and system dialogs.
Some others sammy app doesn't follow default backgroud rules for actionbar, so they need to be modded individually, like Phone, Clock, Calculator, etc.. I'll add them in the next posts.
CAUTION:
Do a nandroid backup, if anything goes wrong in changing framework it could end in bootloops, backup your framework-res.apk in system/framework too.
HOW TO:
1. Download framework-resFlat.apk
2. Put it into your sdcard
3. Copy it to system/framework
4. Rename framework-resFlat.apk in framework-res.apk
5. Overwrite framework-res.apk
6. Set permissions to rw-r--r-- if needed
8. Reboot
9. Enjoy

Mod will apply on messaging bubbles (choose style n°2 in settings) and send, attach, contact buttons.
Since the app uses default background for actionbar you need the above modded framework above to have a flat actionbar.

Backup your SecMms.apk in system/app.

1. Download SecMmsFlat.apk
2. Put it into your sdcard
3. Copy it to system/app
4. Rename SecMmsFlat.apk in SecMms.apk
5. Overwrite SecMms.apk

7. Open Messaging settings and choose bubbble style n°2
8. Enjoy

Download links should be ok now, music player is a bit troublesome, but it should be finished in the next days. Update for current modded apps are coming too with more dividers and buttons steamrolled!

Upon overwriting the framework-res.apk with the new one, I softbricked my S3.
Required a recovery restore and system format. Where did I go wrong?

Since you're overwriting a N7000 framework on a i9300 I'm not surprised about that.
"CAUTION: Do a nandroid backup" is written in big red letters in the op so i guess is reading what you did wrong.

I did a nandroid backup, which solved the problem. I did not read the N7000 bit though so I apologise for that.

I created FlymeUI statusbar model in CM12 beta 5 (bauner custom rom) and resize height of navigation bar (more small),

Guide:
1. Open folder /system/priv-app/ SystemUI, rename SystemUI.apk to SystemUI.apk~
2. Open folder /system/priv-app/ SystemUI/arm, rename SystemUI.odex to SystemUI.odex~
3. Paste SystemUI.apk in folder /system/priv-app/ SystemUI which already download and set permission as default
Be carefull in step 4 since make your note bootloop (if wrong step)
4. Paste framework-res.apk in folder /system/framework and replace which new one (set permission in outside forlder of /system/framework to prevent bootloop since after paste will automatically reboot).
