As far as I know Asus is not an HTC device and this forum is dedicated to HTC devices, but I have seen some posts about Asus in here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=259
Perhaps you can ask there.
Recommendation: Next time use the SEARCH button before posting

I have a TF201 running Android version 4.1.1. and is very slow. I was told by a friend that if I update to Lollipop it would run faster. Is this true and if so, what are the steps to follow? Thanks

Hello everybody !
First of all : sorry if this post is in the wrong place or a repetition ... ...
(I promise to do better in the future..)
But right now i'm in a bit of a hurry to get me going ... ...
Ok ! So here is the thing :
I downloaded some app which was incompatible with my tablet and unfortunately didn't remove it.
Result ? bricked in endless bootloop until battery runs out .
My main question is :
- can i get it up and running without losing my data ?
or
- can i recover data before reseting it ?
I have lots of questions in relation to this ; but i don't want to make this post any longer now.
Will ask more as the conversation goes along ...
Thanks in advance ! ...

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
This post should help:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64596513&postcount=13973
...if not, can post in the same thread. Or you can document your progress in a new thread in the Modifying and Unlocking forum.
Both options, you will need to have an XDA account.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
