Nova launcher: get rid of space? - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know how to eliminate the space between the dock and home screen nova launcher it looks like setup in apex?

I guess this is go launcher ex, but there are only 4 docks and resize the icon.

In Spb Shell on my Galaxy Tab the widget rows available are insufficient due to the screen size of thr Tab, then some widgets get stretched like this:

screen rotation and photo widget issue

Device : SGT-P1000
Dpi: 182 (and any OTHER)
Launcher : GO LAUNCHER
Rom: CM7
I try to get the stock android photo widget have the same size in both screen orientations but no success.
I tried many launchers.
Do you have the same issue?
