Since I've upgraded to Kit Kat I keep losing audio through Bluetooth & HDMI. Normally turning off Bluetooth then back on or rebooting the phone fixes this but there are other times that it just hangs with no audio at all. Anyone else experiencing this?
I've gone through my frozen apps to make sure there is no audio app that could cause this that has been frozen. I have even gone as far as defrosting most apps then refreezing them one by one to see if any one in particular causes the issue. No luck thus far so if anyone has any advice please let me know.
Thanks for your help!

Anyone having this problem? For example, I have it set where it'll make a lock noise when u lock the phone. It rarely works. This also affects the app, Tikl. My speaker will enable once in a while. There are just so many problems with the phone.
I get random freezes after just owning the phone for a week. My HD7 ran much better.
Thanks guys

Has anyone else experienced their sound on the transformer cutting out? Ever since the ICS update the sound on my tab would randomly just stop working. The only way to fix is for me to restart the tab.

Yes, it appears to be a bug... Haven't been able to determine what causes it yet though... I too have to reboot when it happens.

Yes, same here, append randomly, and I have to reboot to have sound back.
WW Rom !
A new OTA is scheduled for next week ?
I have the new OTA, and I always have the same issue !
same here, got this problem since ICS update, never had this before ...
it is a shame that this release haveall these troubles (sound, reboot, market ...)
Bump.
This issue is very annoying. I also noticed that when the no sound issue appears, I have a slightly less responsive touch screen. Reboot fixes both.
Currently the phone is on CM10, but this would happen on any rom. The phone is frozen with the bottom 4 touch buttons lit up. The only way to fix it is a battery pull and power the phone back on. Not sure what is causing this, but would like to know if anyone has found a fix for this issue yet. Thanks.
Its a known bug in CM10 and probably not a hardware problem. CM10 is still a beta (though a very good one) and quirks like this are expected.
Some versions of cm10 are more stable than others. Ive been using the 8 - 14 build and it has a minimal amount of freezing like this.

Thank god
My phone has the same issue, I thought it was H/W issue because I accidentaly dropped my phone very often. Glad to know it's just a rom bug, or I'll have to buy myself a new phone.
It was happening on stock ics also though. Did you guys see that on stock also?
Set your min cpu to 384Mhz, That fixed mine for sure.

Does anyone know anything about randomly losing call audio while running any of the cm10 roms? I have had this happen to me twice where it run's fiine, everything works well, then a day or two later I lose call audio completely, tried fixing permissions, wiping cache and flashing again, still nothing.. can't seem to get it back.
I have got it working again but I had to completely wipe everything and start over... I'm running the Cm10 alpha 3 using the recommended recovery from the Tops thread... happened to me on alpha 2 a few times as well... wondering if anyone else having this issue or if its just me.
Is it happening in the car on BT or just in general?
In general... when it goes out on headset it goes out on everything..Bluetooth speaker...etc..

I've been running the latest version of LiquidSmooth v2.1 on my VZW Galaxy S3 for several weeks now and it has been great! Had a couple of freeze-ups, but I think it is great for a daily driver. The battery life has been phenomenal as well. The only problem I'm running into now is when using Skype. When I make or take a call, I cannot get the audio from the person on the other end to go through my speaker on the back of the phone. It does however come through the speaker on the front of the phone, but that makes video calls rather pointless if you have to hold the handset up to your ear when you want to hear the other person. I have clicked on every button while on the call and it will not put the audio through the back speaker. However, on a normal voice call, it'll come through the back speaker.
Anyone else having this problem? I've rebooted and performed a battery pull to no avail.
Thanks for the help in advance.
I never had it with this phone but I've had that problem with my droid incredible 2; what fixed it was plugging in headphones and then pulling them out. Took me at least 2 tries to actually get it working, don't know if it'll apply for this device as well.

So, you don't have the problem with Skype on the S3 running LiquidSmooth? But you did have it on the DInc 2?
I'll definitely give it a go. Thanks!
