[Completed] sim card does not detect on GT-S5310 - XDA Assist

hello friend i have big problem with my samsung mobile i using:
+galaxy pocket neo GT-S5310
+baseband version: S5310DXAME2
+Android version : 4.1.2 (Jelly bean)
my problem is my phone suddenly does not detect my sim card....i have try many time to insert it but it still can't detect...i try format it and it still same....If anyone has an idea of how to fix this....thanks you very much...

Hey there..
I would recommend you to download the stock firmware for your device (search "firmware for (your device's baseband number" on Google) and then flash it on your device using Odin..
Visit this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1896696 guide for tutorial on how to flash via Odin.(Only follow the process don't use the download links provided as they aren't for your device)
If even that doesn't work, you might want to check whether your sim card is defected or not by putting it in some other phone..
Cheers.

Hey there..
It seems that there is a problem with your sim card slot.
I would recommend you to take it to samsung service center as we are unable to offer you technical assistance on this matter.
Good luck..

No bug at all. I modded the lock screen to make it better, and enabled sim2 3G. Tested and working perfectly without any bug.

Try search around XDA, Basically the methods are the same.

Bug : Stock ROM
Hi jlieu..
Using your stock ROM .. I'm able to revive my phone successfully.. unfortunately.. there is a bug..
The network lock can be removed. Now, i'm able to use both SIM with 3G connection..
MAC Address keep changing and I can't change using either MAC Spoof or Change MAC Address.. as the issue at boot loader itself..
Even using terminal command : busybox ifconfig ...
Still can't resolve the issue. Need your advise.. Thank you.
My firmware file are 100% compatible for malaysian ZTE V793. Follow the instruction to get a recovery on your zte and flash the firmware provided. everything will be fine. The problem now is im getting another file sharing site to re-upload the firmware, i need some time. current dropbox link not longer working due to limitation. Anyone who downloaded my firmware kindly share your mirror if possible. I'll need some time before the file available again.

[Q] Sim card not detecting

Hi all,
My both SIM cards are not detecting in my A110 Canvas 2. I have tried all custom ROM's.
The SIM cards are also fine as they are working in other phones.
I also flashed the JB stock ROM through SP Flash tools but still it is not detecting. Next i tried flashing A110 ICS Stock ROM V2 & V1 using SP Flash tools, but still both sim cards are not detecting.
The IMEI no's that are in the phone settings are also matching with the one in the sticker of the phone as well as the phone box.
There is no problem in hardware part as per my nearby service shops.
Could anyone help me on this issue?

Actually mine was a hardware issue and i had given to service center and they replaced by sim slot.
But you make sure u haven't lost IMEI. ( To check it just go to Settings->About phone->Status->IMEI information )
If u haven't lost IMEI and have the same problems as described by me above then you might have hardware problem. Check service center.

Same problem here. I got my update through PC Companion just now and now phone won't connect to my home network. It is Generic and unlocked to all networks. I have issued this SIM card just for this phone from my service provider because old one was miniSIM. And it worked well before update. I tried reinserting card, it does recognize SIM, it does find my network, it just refuses to connect to it.
Any thoughts?
Then downgrade back to 4.3 using the 4.3 ftf file accordingly via flashtool
Fix
Just flash baseband from 4.3 and everything is back to normal i fix it that way.
Ok, thanks for possible solution. However, I replaced my SIM card with card from another carrier. It is prepaid card so it is inexpensive to buy a new one. Cards from two different carriers are visually identical, but old one does not work, while new one does. I like new number (starting with 666 ) so I will stick with the new card.
expain me how to do it bro

Download 4.3 ftf for xperia m2 (check your proper version in settings) and download flashtool ( google it ) and when you open the app you choose flash mode and choose the 4.3 ftf but uncheck everything on the side excepted baseband and voala when you boot it works. To enter in flash mode you restart your phone and hold the volume down key and connect usb in same time. you have tutorials on youtube you can check. hit thanks if i helped

OPPO NEO 3. No sim card detected

My phone is rooted
Before this problem :
I flash my own port Rom using cwm.
And no problem on my ported Rom.
After I decided to flash another Rom it's ok nothing changed but when I flash ported Xperia Rom from the owner (not me) ,and I get the problem. No sim card detected.
I don't know why, but maybe because the Xperia Rom is cdma gsm, so my phone can't detect that because my phone is gsm gsm.
After that, I flash stock Rom and the problem still there.
Please help. Thanks

If you can find a downloadable stock firmware OTA update for your specific model number, you can flash it via stock recovery.
That is your only option other than PC/Odin.
My mobile is galaxy grand2 (sm-g7102)

Ok, I didn't ask you for your model number and I didn't volunteer to use your model number to find a solution for you. You are the one that needs to know your model number and you are the one that needs to use your model number to search for what I told you about. I told you what you could use if it exists for your model number, now, it is up to you find it by searching for it. Do a search using your model number to see if you can find out if an OTA update was ever released for your specific device, if so, download that update, put it on sdcard, insert the sdcard into your device, boot into stock recovery and apply the update.
