[Solved][Help] Center clock in CM11 status bar - Moto G - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello.
I’m using CM11 on my Moto G XT1033. But I can’t center clock in status bar. When I had my Atrix MB860 running CM7.2, I did this manually, descompiling SystemUI.apk.
But I can’t do this on Moto G.
I already tried some apps like MotoGuide (seens not compatible with CM11), XblastTools and Gravity Box (Xposed’s modules), but no success.
I tried too manually, but when I recompile SystemUI.apk, I’m getting some errors, and if I to try flash it, I get a bootloop.
Anybody know how to do it correctly?
(I’m using last nightly build 20140530)

i guess to save urself from all the trouble u just have to install xposed..

Well, as I wrote above, I already tried some xposed modules, with no success... MotoGuide, GravityBox and Xblast.

[app][xposed][4.2]

Hey,
If any of you updated their XTZ to 4.2 and managed to root it, you probably noticed that Sony removed all extra functionality from QuickSettings panel - you can only toggle the state. Since it annoyed me a lot, I wrote a simple Xposed module that adds "long-click" to all available panels.
Tested on SGP321.
Enjoy!
Edit:
New version! Available in Xposed Repo: http://repo.xposed.info/module/pl.suzume.xposed.xperiaqshold
Work perfectly on my XTZ 311

Another 311 user here with it working perfectly, this was pissing me off.
Hmm, maybe Xperia Z users could test it as well?
And maybe mod could change the topic title? It got somehow messed up
This is so convenient! Thanks

Works well!Thank you~
Confirm, works on Xperia Z
Thank you :good:
Works here too (Tablet Z WiFi 4.2.2 stock/rooted).
Does it need root? Thanks

Yes, Xposed framework requires root.

Works on SGP312...

The apk won't even install on my T-Mobile Xperia Z. I'm on the stock 4.1 Rom. The xposed installer says the file is not a valid apk when I download it through the app, and downloading it from here doesn't work either.
It requires 4.2.2 according to the manifest, so it won't install on 4.1.

It installed ok on my XTZ SGP312 but I can't seem to make it do anything. Long pressing on any of the quick setting options doesn't seem accomplish anything noticeable. I must be doing something wrong.

The short answer is ..no. After doing some more reading, I came to realize that the apk needed the underlying Xposed framework to be installed which I do not have. So that's why nothing was happening when i long pressed.
I'm in the process of reading up on Xposed and trying to figure out just what I need to install on my tab to be able to make use of this and other modules.
Thx for your reply.
How about the support for Xperia C ROMs for MTK6589 devices?
like this [ROM] [X-Flare] our touch-and-hold quicksetting toggle isn't enabled.

Xposed module? Gravitybox?

I noticed there is no xposed module or gravitybox for the Droids. Can we just use the Moto X stuff and it will work the same?

Where can i download the gravitybox for my Maxx on 4.2.2? I tried downloading it from the xposed installer>download menu, it installs, but won't open. Gives an error:
"GravityBox system framework not responding. Exiting."
I downloaded GravityBox(by [email protected]) for JB ver. 2.9.4
Thanks

Do you have any other modules already working?
If not, after you installed "xposed installer", did you install the framework from within the app? you should have installed the framework and been prompted to reboot. then you install gravity box, and make sure to check the box next to it in the modules menu (may require another reboot, i do not recall). After this you will be able to change the settings within gravity box (some / most changes also require a reboot to take effect)

Yes i have another module running. I know about rebooting and all, it just wouldn't work for me. After some searching, it was suggested that i try an older version. I installed version 2.7.2 and it works. Just seems a little less refined, but atleast it works.

This thread is old but does anyone else thats using GravityBox not have the option in the settings for Notification Drawer Style missing the option to set the Custom Image? Only options that seem to work are Default Background and Color Fill.

Cool tool xposed module on XT1033

Guys as the title says does the cool tool xposed module work with the dual Sim phone...
Since gravitybox status bar settings don't work.. This doesn't work too.. just my assumption.. Since I'm not rooted I can't test it..
The app runs fine though.. But it's not the same as exposed module...
BTW those wondering what cool tool does.. It's displays CPU temp, network meter etc etc as a graph gauge or values

[Xposed] Working modules/tweaks for LG G Pro 2

Original Android dev has been kinda quiet for the G Pro 2, perhaps since it's not available in many countries yet. So here are some working mods which have been tried and tested.
1. You need to root
Full instruction here:
a. For D838: http://www.kenysl.com/2014/04/how-to-root-your-lg-g-pro2-d838.html
b. For non-D838: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2670428
2. Install Xposed Framework
http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer
3. Install Xposed Modules
Here are some which are tried to be working:
1. Battery icons: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522669
2. G2 Tweaksbox (so far worth my $1+ for the full version): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2549923
3. Complete Action Plus Mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588306

I miss G2 Xposed. This will enable Tinted Bars if you like. I use it myself. But you have to pay for it. Ot's worth it since G2 Tweaksbox doesn't allow us to use Tinted Bars anymore. You can use them both together.
Thank You..I was looking for this apps.:good:

if its not working I had this problem simple work around can be annoying but worked for me, in the settings there's a option for showing the viper notification in the status bar enable that (yes don't ask why that works) but that should sort out your issue.

I'm trying as I type, still no effect. Also tried another app called equaliser from play store, same thing.
I noted that when playing using lg music app, under setting there is option to change audio effect and this work! Only when using lg music app.
I remember with Samsung devices after installing viper I need to change the system audio effect profile to viper from default system. this is what missing from lg. I think?
Yeah that could be right, viper only works on the stock music player from what I've seen so if you use power amp or other they use there own music profile where as vipers music profile/setting work on the stock music player as its drivers are put straight into system so affect only that player, might be a way to make it effect other music players but I'm not sure on that.
