[Request/help] [AOSP/GE] [JB 4.3] TW Accuweatherwidget + lockscreen wallpaper

Hello Folks.
The time has come that alot of people are switching from touchwiz roms to Google Edition Roms or Cyanogenmod.
Well i currently use a Google Edition Rom JB4.3.
But, there are a few things that i really miss from the touchwiz roms:
- Stock/transparant/semi transparant Accuweatherwidget
- Besides the regular wallpaper, you can set a different wallpaper as lockscreenwallpaper.
I really want this on my Google Edition rom and it would be perfect if someone could inform me about an existing thread (could find it) or sometin else.

On my version of 4.3 I go to Settings > Security > Lock Screen > Background to change the wallpaper. Hope it works for you :good:

I am using Cooooolboys version of GE 4.3 on my INTL 9505 Galaxy S4.
Which one are you using?

Hi, I'm using Slimbean beta5 (4.3) for the i9300. My apologies but I wrongly assumed that the menu layout would be the same on any 4.3 ROM. I will be getting the i9505 on Tuesday so will look into this for you. The only other things I can think of are Settings > Display > Wallpaper and see if it gives you separate Home & Lock screen options OR choose a picture from gallery and see what options 'Set as' gives you.
With regards to the accuweather widgets, there are certainly enough zips and apk's available on XDA but it will be a case of trial and error as to which work on your 4.3 ROM and those that don't.
If you do find a solution to either please post back as I too would be interested.

[Q] MIUI icons reverting back to normal

Hi all,
First of all, sorry if this is the wrong forum, I didn't know where else to put it. I recently got MIUI v3 on my Galaxy GT-I9505, and have been using the theme editor to change the icons for some applications. When I transform the icons, I click the 'complete apply' option which pushes it to my phone and the icons are changed. However, after about 10 minutes or so, the icons revert back to how they were, along with the wallpaper for some reason. I also tried saving it as .mtz, but when I tried applying it, it stated that I need authorization and to only download from the official market.
I am unsure on what to do, I've looked up on many guides/forums and havent been able to find a solution. If anyone could help that'd be great

Maybe the problem is with the theme changer.. Download any launcher and use themes on launcher best way.

Original Theme for Galaxy Core Duos & S5 icon theme problem

hy, nice too meet you. i am a new member here, need your help..
i finally dare to root my lovely core duos. it has good theme and visual now, also performance. i still use stock ROM, with filth kernel installed and also some s5 theme (in status bar).
i have 2 problems here..
1. I upgrade everyhting, but forget to back up. is there someone kindly to share the original System UI+framework & boot animation for galaxy core duos?
2. I tried to install S5 icon packs, but always failed (it changed nothing). what's wrong here?? (I already wiped cache+cache, TWRP user here)

Just a stock deodexed rom?

I've been searching through the S6 forums and haven't come across what I'm looking for and I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I am currently using a Sprint Galaxy S6 and running an outdated custom rom ("Ramified OH1" and UniKernel v8), however this was the only option at the time to get a deodexed rom to run Xposed. What I'd like to do at this point is revert my phone to a stock rom based on the latest official release and have it deodexed so Xposed will still work. (I'd also like to try my hand at theming eventually)
My trouble is, all I can find is a handful of custom roms with mods I don't care for (I don't see why anyone would want a centered clock or this 3minit mod...I don't find either appealing) and a few semi-stock roms that don't match my current firmware version, so I don't even know what's safe to flash at this point.
In some ways, I'd also be satisfied if there was an AOSP or similar rom that would work on the S6, although I'd rather not lose the quicksettings bar that is part of TouchWiz roms. (At this point, the quicksettings bar is the only TouchWiz feature I care about, so I'd be happy with raw Android so that more Xposed mods could work)
I'd appreciate any suggestions or help that the community can offer on this issue.
At the very least, if anyone is familiar with theming an S6 nearly-stock rom, I'd appreciate the help to make some changes to some elements of my current rom to get a style I might like better.

[Completed] Help me change my status bar and notification toggles appearance.....

I've my galaxy note 4 stock huge iconed-status bar and the blue boring quick toggles panel ... i've recently flashed DN7 Rom which was some how great but i suffered from lots of bugs the most annoying one was that iam not able to use the samsung lock screen and iam forced to use another applications to lock my screen with fingerprint .. I've taken step forward and copied all of the apps and installed it into my stock rom .. but now the problem is in the status bar and quick toggles panel .. Could any one help me to copy them from the DN7 to my stock rom ? or is there some mods to change how the look ?

You need a developer to port the apps from that DN7 rom to other one (btw , there is no information about the sources of that rom ...)
You can search here for another rom but be careful on which section , therea are more variants of Samsung Note 4
