Hello xda!
I need help on flashing a rom on the transformer b90, I am already rooted using razorclaw but I'm scared to even try to flash. Has anyone successfully flashed a rom on the b90 or should I hold off and wait? The rom I'm interested in is the krakd rom. Would it be safe to flash?
If you're rooted you must also install CWM recovery to flash custom ROM.
Anything done is "at your own risk".
I managed to get my Viper rooted via super one click- are there any custom roms out there to flash? Are there any Cyanogen ports out there yet, this phone has been out for awhile now....
Well first of all actually, are there any recoveries that work? It does not appear that clockworkmod is compatible with the LS840, however is TWRP recovery compatible?
Hello xda members,
i have a a31 Majestic tab 110n (i know bad choice), it has never been updated and the stock sofware sucks really bad. So i tried to install a custom recovery and ROM, Cm 10.2 from Christian Troy. I tried to flash from zip. sdcard TWRP for ONDA v792 but the touch didn't work. so i tried to install latest CWM and didnt get trough either. I couldnt flash with odin and phoenix cause locked bootloader. I ask you if there is a custom recovery and rom i can flash.
I hope i can get some answer here. i would really appreciate it. if there is any developer that can develope a compatible recovery i would pay him for sure.
I POST HW INFORMATION:
MOD. TAB 110N
PROC QuadCore A31Series
Android version 4.2.2
FIRMWARE VERSION 3.2_20130717
KERNEL VERSION 3.3.0
BUILD NUMBER A31S_Q1001L3_1307286.20130730
Hi! Noob here, just wanna ask some questions.
Is rooting different with flashing a custom recovery, or do when we root we automatically installs custom recovery to our device?
And if I am rooting my phone using Framaroot, does it install a custom recovery to my device? Thanks

UPDATE: Have been figured this out. So, Rooting doesnt mean installing a custom recovery.
Hi all
I am keen in android dev, but we all need to start somewhere
I have been searching and as my title suggests, all I have found are superuser.zips and rooted roms
for the android devs and rom chefs,
how do I take stock firmware, either as:
a .tar.md5 or
a twrp/cwm recovery backup
and root it?
reason for asking, (although I dont indend this as a specific model issue), I recently restored my Samsung Note LTE to stock JB, then installed CWM and then flashed the superuser.zip, but I didnt get root, installed twrp then su, still no root,
so im thinking either rooting the stock tar.md5 or rooting the recovery backup, might solve the problem
