Hello, I have a copy of the S5 i9600 (MTK 6589), which has root privileges. Unfortunately I was one day longer use read sim card mobile phone (Nexus S in fully working), which only helped to factory settings.
After one day I had a mobile home and the constant renewal of me stopped working sim card reader. So now I have no signal. To make matters worse, two days ago, when I tried to upload using CWM PC W7 64bit version for my cell phone, I disappeared system recovery mod s3 and CWM is not uploaded.
Now when I want to get in any way to recovery menu, so I just reboot after the display turns black and after a while the phone restarts itself into the system Android. I have tried several programs to Flash recovery, but without success.
It always appeared a black screen and rebooting the system Android 4.4.2 Is there any way to upload recovery menu - ideally CWM - back to the phone so I could try alternative ROM slot to put into operation sim card?
Thank you for your response.

I had a crash yesterday when my phone screen just blanked out while it was on charge and was getting very hot. After unplugging it, i rebooted the phone and after the initial logo, no screen was coming on. I could feel the haptic feedback but nothing on the screen. I again rebooted nothing, luckily i got into recovery by power+3D+vol down and restored old image.
But since that time i've tried the following methods:
1. Installed new image
2. Factory reset stock phone and camera still hangs.
3. Software UPdate via LG software update tool and clean fresh install.
4. Emergency phone restore as the boot got corrupt one time.
5. Restored using previously working image(s). tried 2 separate dates and roms.
Nothing works for the camera and doesn't take picture even by pressing 3D button.
EDIT: Update. Managed to finally get the camera working after lot of clean installs of CFW. Only prob is when i click storage and press SD Card option it hangs. Tried many times and even on another ROM but it just hangs when switching storage to SD CARD.
Is there a hardware issue or a software one?
Any idea or tips that could help me restore my camera?

When I got my replacement tablet for the recall, I followed the instructions to kill the kill switch on my old tablet (a 16gb Wifi only version). I deleted the TegraOTA folder, and used the zip file as well. I then installed BlissPop and have left it that way since.
A few days ago, I decided to switch from the now-defunct BlissPop over to LineageOS. For some reason, I couldn't get the tablet to boot into recovery (I installed the TWRP app, wouldn't boot into TWRP; I flashed TWRP using fastboot, wouldn't boot into TWRP; I flashed Nvidia's stock recovery, still wouldn't boot into recovery).
So I decided to flash stock, but new everything (I think the 5.2 or 5.3 version). Booted into OS setup (without connecting to network) so I could enable debugging/connect with ADB. This worked, so I rebooted into bootloader and finally got into TWRP. But, because of shared storage, I couldn't get into system folder to see if TegraOTA was back. So I decided to go back to original stock so I could access internal storage. Performed a factory reset, flashed the very original stock system/recovery/boot from these forums.
Restarted tablet and... nothing. Black screen. When its plugged in, the light shows it has charging, but no amount of time or effort pressing the power button will get it to do anything.
Did I brick it somehow? I've flashed various upgrades, OTAs, custom ROMs on both Shield Tablets I've had and am 99.99% sure that I didn't do anything wrong this time. Did I unknowingly flash something that would allow the kill switch to be thrown even if the tablet was never connected to my network? Is there any way to test? Basically I want to be certain its 100% done for before I toss it and buy a new tablet (I sold my replacement earlier this week, which is why I decided to upgrade the old one in the first place). Thanks in advance for any help!
If you installed latest stock and system detected tablet with bad battery it probably killed itself even if you did not connected it to internet
I have an idol 3 5.5inch model with SD Card.
Model: 6045i
Purchased from Amazon US.
My phone is in bootloop.
I can enter Hard Reset Mode and I did Factory Reset & Cache Reset.
It still didn't work.
What can I do now to make my phone work again?
Can I put CM Rom into an sd card, and install from Hard Reset mode?
I'm pretty good with computers, but I have never worked on cellphone ROM mods.
Please help me in details.
EDIT:
I did Hard Reset and I'm now able to see language selection screen, but it immediately turns off.
I'm also able to see Android is Updating screen occasionally but as soon as it goes to the language selection screen, it turns off itself.
I had boot loops in other devices and the only solutions I found on line was to Flash ROM from recovery.
how do you do that on my alcatel phone?
my phone was never modified.
Hi All,
My friend's Lenovo Vibe 3 was working properly but it started giving restart problems automatically. It was working perfectly fine but now it just starts and restarts and nothing else. I even tried to go into safe mode to do some changes in settings and try to the pull the data from the device but it restarts there also, all I want is the data thats it.
I can not install the custom ROM also in this device because of this condition.
Very long time back I used SP flashing tool just to install the custom recovery in my Mediatek device and in there I guess I was able to see some options to copy the data from phone's internal storage to the SD card, correct me if I am wrong because I did it long time back.
So is there any way just to install the custom recovery without wiping all the data in Snapdragon devices also ???
I read somewhere that if I try to unlock the bootloader that will also wipe all the data but the thing is I cant even go to fastboot mode, is there any alternative way to just install the custom recovery with all my data as it is ?
