Hi all, noob here
thinking of installing a KitKat ROM on my GT-I9105P but I'm having 4.1.2 JB stock ROM, already rooted. Do I need to flash a 4.2.2. kernel first? If yes, which one?
Thanx in advance,
m

You can't flash any of our kitkat roms. They won't boot on 4.1.2 bootloader, before flashing kitkat roms just flash 4.2.2 firmware(via Odin). Now you can flash CM11 or any other kitkat rom.Good Luck!

any 4.2.2 ROM for your device, it doesn't really matter since you're gonna flash CM 'over' it anyway
you can find ROMs on sammobile.com

Reboot to cwm recovery than restore your nandroid, simple and easy.

JB roms are pretty buggy right now, not sure if it's the same for everyone though.

Was wondering if superliterom is the only rom I can flash on the latest ne1 bootloader? Or can I run any custom 4.4 build?

That is the only rom that can be flashed with SafeStrap once you are on VRUDNE1 OTA. You can only flash VRUDNE1 based roms and only one exists today.

Superlite ROM is the only one. Do not attempt to flash any AOSP based 4.4.2 ROMs. Bad things will happen.
