Hey Guys,
I had brought this TAB from a friend with a confusing SIM or Network issue. Actually this Tab wont detect any CARRIER other than TATA DOCOMO. I am sure that it has no network lock. Not only this, even on TATA DOCOMO it's sometimes loosing network, when I got a call or while using Internet.
I have searched on XDA and found no thread regarding this issue. But some where I read that flashing latest firmware via Odin may overcome the particular SIM issue. I am just afraid, if I flash the whole firmware, It may be possible that even TATA DOCOMO wont work, then this tab is use less for me as I have no wifi around me.
It cant be a hardware issue, if it is then no CARRIER should work. I really dont want to visit Samsung care ATM, as I am short on money & this TAB is out of warranty.
Any kind of help is appreciated.

Hi all,
I bought a samsung galaxy s2 but I have a worry that it may be blocked. It was on virgin mobile and I placed my t-mobile simcard in it, my 3g works and signal shows as full. However upon attempting to make a call or text the call would fail and say call ended as would the sms eventually.
I'm guessing that the phone I bought is blocked which is a great pain!
Could anyone suggest anything to try before giving up? Maybe flash a new radio image? Its been a while since I was involved in the rooting and flashing of roms since my HTC hero and i've forgotten most of what I did then!

now the phone works ok for 1 minor problem each time i insert a sim card the phone would detect it but i cant get any signal bars no signal and even if i try to dial it says network not available i contacted the company i bought it from and they sent me the G15 stock firmware i installed it with the flash tool but same problem no signal can anyone help me please i can upload the firmware if you guys need to check it out any help would be greatly appreciated
Looks like a expired sim. Is the sim working on other phone? Have u tried other sim card?

i have 4 working sims and none are working in the g15 but they work in other androids or any other mobile can you help me with this problem
I am also experiencing the same issue with my chinese phone Star X18i. No signal. It seems as if the GSM radio is turned off. Any help would be appreciated
Guys i just bought Galaxy S4 VE Black Edition Model I9515 (LTE version). Its bought from Dubai. Now am using this in Pakistan. All the things working fine except i am facing problem to enable LTE option. In network mode i didnt find any selection for LTE. Even i am using 4G Enable Sim and in 4g coverage area. Its updated to current version of 4.4.2. Phone is not Rooted. Can anybody tell me how i can resolve this problem. I didnt find yet Rooting method for this model and also let me know if i can install ROM for different region on this phone to enable the LTE. Please help

i also had the same problem the same model mobile sent to my brother as a gift from saudi arab and today eventually he get this problem solved for the sum of 300pkr rupees and now he can use 4g on his Galaxy S4 VE Black Edition Model I9515 (LTE version)
To force activate 4G try this----------
open your phone's numberpad and dial the folllowing no.
*#*#4636#*#*
then go to phone information
scroll down
there will be an dropdown arrow
click on it and choose LTE only
hit thanks button if it worked
hello there!, i have a relly big problem, i hope you can help me, my device is a note 3 vzw n900v i have it on 4.4.2 and i was having problems with the signal so i think to update with odin to 5.0, thinking that it was solving my proble but guess what!, i have no more signal non on global non on lte non in gsm option, i live in mexico so i dont know how to fix it, i was looking for a solution on the threads an nothing to fix it, there is a guy where i live but he tells me that i have to be root user for fix it with zex tool or some kind like that but neither i can find somthing to root it im currently on 4.4.4 and can jump to 5.0 and backward but no signal no anything, i really need desperate help here i hope you can help me or at least told me why this happened! on imei says unknow baseband the same, ERI unknow, min unknow, prl unknow, iccid unknow, IMS register unknow!!!... please help me!

There exist a problem when someone try to call to my number it wont connect for the 1st time and need to disconnect automatically for the 1st time, after 1st call disconnected automatically same
caller can call to my number again.
Want someone to help me with this problem.

or, change your sim card and try to call your own number
or, change your firmware (try U firmware since your S7 is on ATT firmware).
