If you having hard time to find a custom ROM for your GIONEE P2, I have found some custom ROM for this phone.
* I’M NOT A DEVELOPER. I ONLY SHARE THE WORK OF OTHER GUYS . THEY DID AN AMAZING WORK BY PORTING ROM FROM MANY OTHER BRANDS TO GIONEE P2. ALL CREDITS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR
* I ASSUME THAT YOU ALREADY KNOW THE RISK OF DOING THIS AND I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE OF YOUR PHONE.
* If you don’t have CWM recovery please flash this CWM using Mobile Uncle.
Install a Custom Recovery and backup your ROM onto your SD Card. There are 3 Custom Recoveries available:-

* If you can't download apps from Google Play Store, please empty the Proxy number on APN (Access Point Names) Setting.

TO ROOT YOUR GIONEE PIONEER P2 PHONE

1. Download and install Framaroot tool from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276
2. Open Framaroot app and you will see InstallSuperSU, and Boromir at the last. Click Boromir. Restart. DONE!
3. Additionally download and install Busybox from the Play Store, and when you open the app do a Normal(Safer) or Smart Install of Busybox. This app is required bymany other root apps to work properly.

THIS GUIDE IS A COMMON METHOD OF FLASHING CUSTOM ROM USING CWM RECOVERY (detailed explanation can be found on google)

TO INSTALL A CUSTOM ROM (Need rooted phone with custom recovery)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Charge battery to Full.
2. Backup user data using Titanium backup.
3. Download the ROM you want to install and pasteit in the root of your SD Card.
4. Boot into Custom Recovery using Vol– and Powerkey.

A) PROCEDURE USING CARLIV TOUCH RECOVERY (RECOMMENDED METHOD) ## By Sarfuddin Haider

5. Click wipe menu
6. Click wipe all data - Preflash
7. Click Factory Reset
8. Click Wipe Cache
9. Click Wipe Dalvic Cache
10. Press Back Soft Key
11. Click Install zip from SD card
12. Click Choose Zip, to browse SD card. Then Swipe on sky blue color place, which is on your bottom right hand corner, to see all your folders and zip files on SD card. NOW SELECT ROM.ZIP.
-----Then wait for installalation to finish---
9. Click on Reboot. | DONE |

B) PROCEDURE USING CWM RECOVERY
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Wipe User data/ Factory Reset
6. Wipe Cache.
7. Go to Advance options and Wipe Dalvic Cache and then wipe Battery status.
8. Now return to the main menu of custom recovery,and Select Install zip from SD card.
9. Click on Install from SD card and then select the ROM you downloaded, and then select Install.
10. Wait till the ROM finishes Flashing then Reboot your phone. The first Reboot may take a longer time, so wait for it. Then Enjoy the new ROM!

8) Select Install From SD and Select file And Click YES

10) Reboot
11) Congrats You have Rom now....Report if you find bugs

Reflash firmware with Flashtool but change recovery directory to TWRP (otherwise, you will lose your recovery! LOSE RECOVERY...!)
Backup IMEI by anyway [MobileUncle or NVRam TOOL]
Wipe cache, Dalvik cache, data, system
Flash the ROM
Flash GApps [flash all, REMEMBER]
Restore IMEI
REBOOT ------------------------------------------> ENJOY

Xposed Installation
1. 1st flash Xposed firmware.zip (link bellow on attachment) via recovery, then reboot & wait
2. after rebooted Open Xposed Installer app, goto Modules>> Tick all Module boxes>> Goto Firmware>> Click on Reboot>> Give Root Permission
Set sdcard as default storage:
*open XinternalSD app and tick all box like Image (see bellow),
*Now Reboot again,
*After Reboot check effect, Now your SDcard as Defualt Storage.

Thanks for the rom but i think you are mistaken the type of rom.This rom is "not" at all based on cm12.1,its a real LP rom ported from various Miezu devices.

Looks like you still didnt get it,You wrote the Android Version 5.0.2 and on paper you are also saying its based on cm12.1,but cm12.1 is actually 5.1.1..So you downgraded or what?
