[ROM][06/11][UPDATE 13/11]2.3.5 GB Custom ROM Lite (v18a). Fastest & the most stable!
Ok fellas, here is my brand new custom ROM based on the leaked Android 2.3.5 GB ROM with a lot of modifications such as:
Removed LG launcher, added ADW Launcher.
Removed some battery consuming LG Apps (Application Manager, LG PC sync, on screen phone, Battery widget, remote call etc..)
Removed unnecessary sytem apps (Today tips etc.)
NEW Google Nexus Bootanimation (Removed startup and shutdown sound).
NEW Framework with Batterymod etc...
3D Games and some of the widgets such as LG weather, SNS etc. kept.
Added a new 3D game; Archercraft.
Added 3D photo program; Phereo.
Added adblocker "Adfree" (for blocking ads in ad supported apps).
Added QuickPic for fast wallpaper change.
Added evernote with widgets and removed fast notes (much better).
Added Adao file manager.
Added latest version of sytem apps such as Youtube, Maps...etc.
Latest video enabled Gtalk (front cam has problem however).
Added mobiscan QR for barcode scanning.
Added CsipSimple for voip.
and more....
Around 260 MB of RAM free after the first install including all vital apps!
I don't take any responsibility for any problem! You do take the risk and use this ROM by yourself.
You need to install the O3D baseband for GB before starting!
See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331814
You don't need to install the GB baseband again if you already have it installed.
Instructions to install:
1. Download the CWM flashble zip from:
http://www.multiupload.com/OYN0PR5UZD
and put it into your internal memory.
MD5 Hash: b88ef3907f956845de6bb00d50409de2
2. Enter the recovery by holding 3D button and Vol+ while booting the phone.
3. Wipe data/factory reset.
4. Wipe dalvik cache.
5. Fix permissions.
6. Install downloaded zip via CWM.
7. Reboot to the CWM again!
8. Install downloaded zip via CWM again!
9. Reboot and enjoy the currently fastest O3D Gingerbread 2.3.5 ROM!
(If still stick on LG Logo, try installing until it passes the logo screen)
Problems: NONE (yet )
Only thanks button don't donate please since it is mostly others work such as : "mohicanrat" for the original leaked ROM and baseband and "skottydoguk" for fixing 3G and wifi problems.
Update: Here you have an alternative framework similar to original with percentage battery...
Update 2: Here you have another alternative framework similar to original with percentage battery WITHOUT MUSIC controls and Notifications Toogles...
reserved... can somebody who installed the rom send me some screenshots unmodified to add here? (my main screen much different now)
Will it be directly flashable through CWM without the baseband trick?

In any case you need to Install the GB Baseband first. CWM doesn't hold the baseband for O3D (yet..).

CyanogenMod emulator image

Hi, is possible to compile a CyanogenMod pics build for android emulator?
I've downloaded sources using repo, but in models seems there's not an option for generic image, nor full-eng work.

[rom][lgp690][cm7][readyrom]

Hello,
I'm happy to present you my new ROM for ONet: ReadyROM. It has 3 theme:Touchwizz,Optimus UI and stock CM7.
Things to do after flash:
0.Install FIX (very important
1.Install GApps
2.Install a new kernel (i recomend this)
3. Set your theme. If you want to use LGUI/CM& you need to disable "USE ICS ICONS" in launcher settings.
Happy testing!
Has anyone tried it?
Which bugs this rom have?
The brightness control in settings don't work if you don't flash the fix. This is the only bug that I discovered
I will try it thanks man

Works fine
Have been using this for over two weeks now. No issues. Works fine. Way better than stock rom.

Check scrolling cache enabled/disabled

Hiw can i check if my rom has scrolling cache enabled or disabled?
I dont understand why people disable it, with it its a LOT smoother, so i'm pretty sure it's enabled in my rom (xtralite).
How can i enable it? (No option in aroma)

[i9305][KERNEL][LOS14.1][BOEFFLA]UNOFFICIAL Boeffla Kernel ported to i9305

Hello everybody,
I've finally build a quite stable version of boeffla kernel for Samsung S3 LTE (i9305), based on latest boeffla and lineage sources.
I've had a lot of problem with unesplicable reboots before I discover that they were caused by the toolchain I used to compile (NDK); with android google toolchain it seems to me that I've solved this problem. I've tested this version for three days with latest lineage and latest Resurrection Remix ROM and I've had only one reboot, but I think it wasn't caused by the kernel.
Surely it needs to set it up, but I share the kernel so if someone would like to test it and give feedback I'll try to improve it (but I haven't so much time to do it...) .
Thanks to all the contributors involved in develop of lineage OS and boeffla!!
My kernels are now downloadable in:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=172551
There is a minimal "boeffled" version too, obtained modifying as less as possible the original lineageos_i9305_defconfig. It hasn't all the moddable configuration of original boeffla, as zram or xbox module etc, but can be used for test purpose... i.e. if you see that something doesn't work well in my latest kernel version, please test this and tell me if the issue is still present. Thanks.
My reasonably updated sources are in:
https://github.com/stratonz/boeffla-kernel-i9305-lineage-14.1/tree/boeffla_cm14
Lord Boeffla sources on which my port is based:
https://github.com/andip71/boeffla-kernel-cm-s3/tree/boeffla_cm14
LineageOS sources:

Hi stratonz!
I registered on this forum to thank you for this kernel. A few hours ago I installed the beta1 version that you posted and it seems to work fine with RR 5.8.2-1 from 02.March.2017. I can make and receive phone calls, WIFI works, GPS works, CPU and GPU overclocking/underclocking and overvolting/undervolting are fine, camera works and battery life seems to be fine (need more time to judge this). What doesn't work now is the flashlight, at least in RR 5.8.2-1. The flash works when taking pictures, but when I try to activate the flashlight from statusbar it just doesn't do anything.
In the last 4-5 months I could never make limjh16's kernel work on CM/LOS 14.1, not even to the bootanimation, regardless of the ROM (RR, AICP, BeanStalk), bootloader, recovery or modem used.
Considering you made me pretty happy releasing this kernel, the least I can do is say thank you.
Hi Lstorm, thanks for your feedback. I'm trying now my flashlight from statusbar and it seems to work. I don't believe it depends on kernel.
Anyway I'm using RR 5.8.2 20170331 (check tue second version in the post, cause Rodman released a corrected version a few hours later the first )and ev'rything appears to work.
Bye!

I'm not so capable in using github , but I think you can take a look at:
https://github.com/stratonz/boeffla-kernel-i9305-lineage-14.1/tree/boeffla_cm14
maybe I've uploaded all sources three days ago, but it seems that my personal modifications to fit i9305 are not present there; I'll push them as soon as I learn how to do (I'm working in local...)
Bye!

Hi stratonz.
Firstly i would like to thank you for porting boeffla for our device.
Im in love with boeffla since cm11. Good job man.
Btw, in on beta1 but which one do you prefer actually? the minimal or non-minimal? Haven't try the minimal one yet..
Edit
non-minimal beta1 suit me best. Thank! ?
Good work - installed on latest RR and everything working. Leaving all the settings as close to default as possible for now. Screen rotation is fine too, which wasn't working on last Boeffla :good:
Videos in browsers stop working. I tested Mozilla, Chrome on several sites. I did not check YouTube in my browser. Thank you for the port of this kernel.

Yeah same here. Also charging is fixed at 1000mAh no matter the settings.
@stratonz Yes there is a video playback prob.. When i try to play some video, only sound played and the vid stay dark(saved video), same goes with the youtube app.. However on the fb app, it cant be played at all..
@djthorne charging work fine on me, 1100 as default..
Ok. I've made a test: in minimal version video work, so there's only something to change in defconfig file. I'll do it as soon as possible. For me charging customization works.

Apologies, charging works fine. It was the app reporting the same charge no matter what I changed.
I think I've solved video problems. Please test and give me feedback.

Initial test looks look - video playback working :good:
Not sure if a coincidence, but losing signal a lot with the new test kernel and fails to get LTE (H+ only). I'll stick with it and monitor.
ETA - just got 4G. Took a couple of minutes but it kicked in.
Well, I've changed nothing about networks. Only a parameter about video memory.

Using your kernel with last AICP from rodman01 - excellent
So far no issues!
Many thanks for your effort!
Hi stratonz first congrats for the kernel and good job, thanks for your endless effort and for your sources on github. I could compile your kernel within the rom and I am thinking about releasing RR, AICP and BS with your kernel. Therefore I want to ask for your permission. Sure I will give credits in op and the release post.
BTW: which of the defconfig is the latest and "best"? I compiled it with boeffled4 I think, or is it boeffla-lim?
And what kernel name should I use? I would suggest something like: stratonz-boeffla...or do you want to edit your defconfig or version.c to your chosen name?
