Well that wasn't very hard as I thought it'd be
I'm currently uploading another build I built just now using SABERMOD 4.10 for kernel and 4.8 for ROM :victory:
Build works smoothly as far as I see, and Antutu benchmark score jumped by, .......wait for it........., ABOUT 3000 POINTS!!!
I know benchmarks don't really mean anything, but if the score increases, well it means at least something changed, and for the better nonetheless
You'll find the build soon in the mediafire folder. Feedback is more than welcome

I'm sad to hear that, but I can't do much about it . The kernel dev (Androguide.fr )will have to make it compatible, if he wants to that is.
It'd help if someone would post it in the kernel thread!
On another note, the build is now uploaded
Have fun flashing :highfive:
Edit: just realised that the kernel thread is closed
I'll see if i can build a custom pimped kernel that supports PAC. I can't promise anything though!

Edit: pressed the wrong button!

Edit: wrong again! What's wrong with me!?!?

You're too excited mate I am excited as well but right now I can't afford to play with my phone as I have to use it more regularly than usual. I'll give it a shot as soon as my phone's schedule clears up

I got Pimped kernel to work on all CM based ROMs I tried, I asked the developer for permission to publish it but since then,
he didn't enter Xda (as stated in his xda profile), I think he is busy.

Great! Can you please add support for PAC? As far as i know, the only problem is the difference in frameworks jar files. PAC has framework-pac.jar which needs to be loaded by the kernel. Would be awesome if you do it [emoji106] [emoji16]

I see that some people have downloaded the ROM, or so has Mediafire told me
Any feedback about the ROM? Did anyone try comparing benchmarks?
I'm interested in your opinions
Also, I'll try to get the first post up and running today

This ROM is fast and very responsive. However, only downfall is the AOSP/Google camera can't compete with that of Sony. So build-quality speaking, this is a great ROM sans the inferior camera. Thanks.

Well Sony camera is exclusive to Sony firmware
Maybe you can try your luck with these ports:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2733776

I have to admit though, that they didn't work correctly for me. Therefore, I recommend doing a backup before flashing!
Oh and I got the first post up and running

Hi, and thanks for the build. It seems I have problems downloading the PAC gapps from the PAC site. Could somebody share an alternative location?
Thanks.

Added a link to Banksi GApps in first post
I personally recommend them, especially the minimal package, because you only get the basic thing, then you can download what you want from the playstore

can we change default camera app bound to hardware button?

Does the ROM support NTFS/exFAT on the microSD? thanks
ROM is pretty good so far. I've used PACROM on my phone for quite a while, so setting it up just right at first takes some time.
I've noticed lots of crashes when going through PACROM settings, especially trebuchet. No crashes outside of settings though.
Nice to finally play with 4.3.

Maybe that's because Cromi X browser was using browser2ram, you should install it and try again.
EDIT: Got a system UI FC after installing an app via Play Store and rebooting the tablet didn't help, also turning the screen on take a several seconds and sometimes I had to make a complete reboot by pressing the power button.

Good man, we are proud of you...
Well, I have a question about the layout. When I use the PAC Rom, many of my apps are out of bound, eg the menu icon of the browser, or Titanium BK, or Gmail...etc on the upper right hand corner does not show. I tried to change to small/mid/big TabletUI but it is still the same, do you know why and how to fix it?
Other than this, the Rom is actually very usable, and the 915 revision is smoother than the older ones.

Yes, now I remember, I was so puzzled that I had that before but got it fixed, and it came back after I reflashed. Thanks.
Now I am going to flash the latest revision..:good:
I dont think my tf700t is using the keyboard battery to recharge itself. Another thing is a hardware issue (i think) My port on the tf700t(charging port) is not charging my tablet when i use the outlet, but when i hook it up to my pc it recognizes my tablet. I hooked my dockk to the charge to see if that was the problem but it charges the dock fine. could it be a pin on my tablet that is broken?

Thanks for the reply man. I ended up trying it out last night, and beyond not being able to play music, I love it. I will just have to wait around until it gets more stable.
Really like the ROM but couldn't get it to work with my USB DAC. Is there a setting I'm missing? And yes, I realize this is a non-issue for 99% of people.

I ran this Rom for a day and music playback worked fine, with Play Music and stock music player. The reason I switched back to a different Rom was because the wifi kept disconnecting every other second...if that was fixed it could be my daily driver.

Let's see... I'll probably contact him and/or the Omni team and once I'm sure he doesn't want to merge our device in (which I actually doubt), this will stay unofficial.

Thanks again for this great work

I get FC in torch and gallery. So far no problem in low call volume for me. Great ROM, thank you very much.
I can reproduce the FC when opening the Torch, but that's already been fixed. I'll rebuild ASAP...
Gesendet von meinem Xperia L mit Tapatalk
The new build is up, enjoy. GPS and the Torch work now (at least for me).

Hello,
thank you
I will download and test it :highfive:
i dont like it really, its nothing like the kitkat and jelly bean builds, this one still just looks like cyanogenmod and not what pac rom should be
Would you say it's just CM with a little more features? I never tried Pac ROMs in the past
I tried PAC-ROM on KitKat and I had liked it. My I9305 is backuping
Installed and did some testing. Had a few FCs during setup and switching from Wifi to mobile data. Mobile data is working (2G, 3G, LTE), GPS with device only working too, calls are working. Front camera only 480p.
It's pretty CM with just some added features. Other than that seems pretty stable for a Beta.

You know it could be a good thing. It does not have all kind of features other roms are filled with (most don't even use lol), it's a small modified CM. That's how I myself actually pictured CM. Will you continue with the builds? I'd totally understand if you say no since you're not really feeling it
