If you are using an android 4.0+ device and want to make it look like android kitkat (Transparent status bar, white status bar icons, kitkat launcher)
Then this guide will help you to do so. There is no need to flash a custom rom, you can do it without requiring a pc.
REQUIREMENTS
-> Android 4.0+
-> Rooted Device
-> cwm/twrp recovery (for backup)
REQUIRED FILES
-> Xposed Installer (From XDA)
-> Gravity Box (in app download)
-> KK Launcher (Play Store)
DOWNLOAD LINK
-> download Xposed installer
-> download KK Launcher
! IMPORTANT
-> Goto recovery mode
-> Make a full nandroid backup to your sdcard
INSTALL XPOSED INSTALLER
-> Download Xposed Installer from the given link
-> Install Xposed installer in your device
-> After installing goto Framework tab
-> Grant all permission(While Asking)
-> Now click on Install/Update button
-> The app will ask to reboot your phone
-> Click on reboot
-> Now Xposed installer has been installed in your device
INSTALL KK LAUNCHER
-> Download KKLauncher from Playstore
-> Install KKLauncher
-> Make KKlauncher as your default launcher
INSTALL GRAVITY BOX MODULE
-> Open Xposed Installer
-> Goto Download
-> Search for GravityBox
-> Select GravityBox
-> Now goto Versions tab
-> Click on download button
-> Now install GravityBox
-> After installing GravityBox, open Xposed Installer and goto Modules
-> Now select (tick) GravityBox and then again goto Framework and click on install/Update
-> Again it will ask to reboot your phone, click on reboot
-> Now GravityBox is installed in your phone
MAKE STATUSBAR TRANSPARENT
-> Open GravityBox
-> Goto Transparency Management
-> In "statusbar for launcher" set the transparency percentage to 100% (Your choice)
-> In "statusbar for lockscreen" set the transparency percentage to 50% (your choice)
CHANGE THE BATTERY COLOR AND STYLE
-> Open GravityBox (if closed)
-> Goto Statusbar Tweaks
-> in "Statusbar background color" choose/set black color
-> in"statusbar icon color" choose/set white color
-> in "status icon style" choose kitkat
-> if dual sim phone, set the color of "secondary signal color" to white
-> in "data activity" color set it to black
-> go back
-> select battery settings
-> In Battery indicator style select kitkat battery
-> "optional" you can enable battery % and set its color to white
-> DONE!!
(YOU CAN PROVIDE ANY COLOR TO YOUR STATUSBAR ICONS, IN ORDER TO LOOK LIKE KITAKAT I JUST MENTIONED WHITE)
DATA TRAFFIC METER (OPTIONAL)
-> Open GravityBox
-> Goto statusbar tweaks
-> Select data traffic monitor
-> Enable it
-> choose your desire position and size
-> DONE!!

Hi. I have tried to install this rom as per directions given but somehow it gets into bootloo with distorted incpk logo. Noir A20 . Along with this i have tried other available roms also but only stock jellybean 4.1.2 and 4.2.1 work. Any suggestions? Thanx

Material Os For Xolo Play
This rom is purely based on the most stable rom of this device ( T!Dy os). And this rom is not pre-themed, please follow the guide below carefully to give your device a material look.

How to install:
1. Wipe data and factory reset.
2. Wipe cache partition.
3.. Wipe Dalvik cache.
4. Flash The_Material_OS.zip.
5. Wipe Dalvik cache.
6. Reboot.
How to install Xposed Framework and Modules:
1. Open Xposed Installer.
2. Select Framework.
3. Click on Install/Update.
4. Go back and select Modules.
5. Tick all the modules.
6. Go back to Framework and select Reboot.
7. Done.
Now Once all modules are activated and ready, lets get started.
a). Gravity box :-
1. open gravity box, go to transparency management. set launcher 100% lockscreen 56%.
2. go to pie controls, enable it set to always, check centre trigger and reduces trigger size ( not enabling pie controls causes transparency bugs)
3. go to status bar tweaks, go to status bar colors, enable icon coloring
4. Reboot
b) Tinted status bar
1. open it and scroll down to most bottom.
2. See two colorfilter modes, change them from multiply to src_atop
3. scroll up, see per app tints, search for android lockscreen, click all activities override, click on status bar tint, set hex code to 71000000.
c) Monster ui
1. go to per app theming, search for settings..apk, click and use light theme.
2. go to system ui, scroll down see color of notification, set it to white ( set it two times, maybe a bug)
d) holo themer support package
1. open it, set color to android l green
You are Done!!
