I bought a Huewai Mate 9 from an online store saying it was a UK store. The phone arrived, its a chinese version with no Google Store, GMS or Playstore. So I cannot install my apps or get my backup files installed from my okd phone. Any help appreciated - thanks.

Visit Huawei's app store. There you may download GMS and Play Store.
GMS - http://a.vmall.com/app/C10611057
Play Store - http://a.vmall.com/app/C10057661
Good luck to you.
I installed the latest version of MX Player PRO on my S6 edge(official 7.0, Gmail and Samsung Email installed), S7 edge(official 8.0, Gmail and Samsung Email installed), S9+(official 8.0, only Gmail installed).
But on S7 edge and S9+, purchase can't be found while on S6 edge can be found.
Any solution?
P.S. This is a screenshot on S9+

If you have purchased through Google Play, Gmail has nothing to do with. It will just validate the purchase through Google Play itself. So, make sure that you are using the same account on your new device and Google Play Store and Google Play Services can reach the Google Play servers. If the problem persists, kindly remove your account from Google Play and add it back again after restarting the device. It may fix the issues.

Thank you for reply.
But actually, I purchased MX Player Pro through the official website... And I'm sure that I'm using the same account on my devices...
More specifically, the purchase can be found before I update MX Player Pro to the latest version on my S9+ and S7 edge.
Best Regards

And I noticed that the latest version on Google Play is 1.10.22, is it possible for you to upload this version to the official website?
Latest version in Google Play for me shows 1.10.17.

You might have downloaded the Google Play build. Due to Google Play restrictions, Google Play builds doesn't come up with the component to validate the licenses from our licensing servers. It can only validate that apps that are purchased from Google Play.

As 1.10.22 wasn't release build, we haven't updated the same in our websites. If you are looking for a beta build that can validate purchases from our websites, Kindly download the latest beta build 1.10.23 from http://mx.j2inter.com/translation/test-build.

Have you enabled the Background Play option? By default, background play is enabled only for audio files.
If the app is getting killed while on background play, kindly try the latest beta build from our website. We have improved our background play to work better with the background process restrictions on the newer android versions.

Thank you for reply:fingers-crossed:
I downloaded ver 1.10.24 from official website ( I'm sure that I have not downloaded the google play version ) and the “can not be activated” problem still exists on my S7 edge and S9+. But on my S6 edge, it works well.
So I guess maybe something wrong with Samsung devices running Oreo?

We regret the inconveniences caused. Based on our investigation, it has been found that Android 8 and newer versions no longer allow the apps to read the list of accounts available on the device as it used to be on the older versions. So, it will fail to activate the license purchased through our website.
We are working towards releasing a quick workaround to address the issues caused by the android restrictions. Hopefully, it will be available in the next few days. Meanwhile, you can clear the MX Player data and disable the contact permission of the MX Player. It will allow you to run the app for a few days even in the "License not verified" state.

Is it possible that I purchase MX Player on Google Play now then you refund the money I paid on the official website through PayPal?
I purchased MX Player Pro from your website but not from google play several years ago just because I can't use google play in my country that time while I can use google play now.:fingers-crossed:

Unfortunately, Paypal doesn't provide us with refund option for the transactions older than 6 months. As you have purchased several years back, it may not be possible to refund now.

Alright, while I'm still going to purchase on Google Play.
MX Player Pro worths the price.
In app "check for updates" is convenient, but I'm afraid that Google will add some new restrictions to Android in the future.
Thank you for reply
And sorry for my poor English, Idk if there are some grammatical errors... Though I'm learning English recently...

Hello there.
I have been using MX player pro for some time, purchased via Google play on my Nokia 6.
After latest update to Android pie i can't use it anymore.
I tried to uninstall it and install it again but it doesn't show up as my other purchased apps, but asks me to buy it again?
Could you help me with this issue?
Thanks in advance
I can't find the international version of Mate 20 locally in Europe so I am looking at Aliexpress and I have found out you can easily add play store.
But will google services like maps, calendar, etc work fine? Is the English translation in that ROM good?
Thank you
If you have a Chinese version of Mate 20, you need to enable Google Play Store.
Just go to HiApp, which is an App Store by Huawei, select Google Play Store and update it.
I've just bought my new P30 and Play Store says it's incompatible with Google Pay.
Five clarifications:
1. It's the EU version of the smartphone
2. I'm in Ukraine
3. Play Store says the device is certified
4. NFC is turned on and Google Pay is chosen as default method in the NFC configuration
5. Now I have 9.1.0.240 patch 03 version of the firmware and it says it's the latest one
What I've tried to fix this so far:
1. Clear cache and memory for Play Store
2. Reboot
3. Uninstall updates for the Play Store app
4. Place sim to the second slot (several people claimed this helped them)
Any other ideas?
Thanks in advance!
[RESOLVED]
I will answer for myself if it helps anybody.
If you have Play Store saying that your device is certified, but Google Pay is not supported by it, and you're sure that you are in the country where Google Pay is supported, please go to Play Store - Account - Preferences - Country and profiles and check that you have enabled the profile with allowed country.
What happened to me, I used to live in a country where Google Pay is not supported and then moved to a country where it is and forgot that I had a card that was somehow linked to the first country. Once I had a profile for the new country, Play Store allowed me to install Google Pay.
