Hello guys! I just stumbled upon this new chinese phone called the Star X5 IRON MAN that claims to be the world's thinnest metal smartphone with a really impressing 5.88mm ultra thin body!
What's really impressive about it in addition to the mid-range specs is it's amazing price of only 89.77$!
I'm really looking forward to buy it if I don't set my mind on a Galaxy S5 clone...
What do you guys think of it? has anyone already bought it?
The only website selling it for now is Fastcardtech
Seems legit.
i don't feel like to have a very thin phone.. i mean i can't feel it in my pocket

Hi, I'm looking for a sports armband for my Omnia 7, ideally something that will protect it from the rain too.
After a lot of searching the web, and visiting local sports shops, I'm yet to find anything that fits properly. The H2O Audio Large Waterproof Armband looks good but the phone's 2.4mm too long according to their specifications. The Nokia CP-402 also looks good, but I am not sure the Omnia 7 would fit.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions of arm bands known to be suitable.
Cheers,
Neil

I think the LG Dare is a sleek looking phone. And of course you can customize it so if you like the iPhone look, you can change the background of the Dare to look like it.

For Android, the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 are not waterproof. You'll want to educate yourself on Ingress Protection code. The first number signifies dust protection level; the second number signifies water protection level:
Wikipedia > IP Code
Cliffnotes: IP68 is the best. It's completely dust proof and withstands water for depths over 1m.
If you want a waterproof/dustproof phone, then you're looking at the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active (IP67), Sony Xperia Z Ultra (IP58) , or Sony Xperia Z (IP57). Unfortunately, as you can see, none meet the IP68 standard (the same standard as your Lifeproof case for the iPhone). Nevertheless, Seidio makes an "OBEX" line of cases that meets the IP68 standard, and also the military MIL-STD-810F standard for shock resistance, but only for the iPhone and the Galaxy S3/S4. Also, this will add $80 to your cost (another equivalent to the Lifeproof).
Unfortunately, the HTC One and Sony phones don't sell as well as the flagship Galaxy phones or the iPhones, and one major downside to this is the lack of an equivalent accessory market. You could go with the Sony Xperia Z/Ultra, but as far as I know there is no MIL-STD-810F rated case to couple with their native IP 57/58 protection ratings for the same result. The best you could do would be a rugged case like the Otterbox Defender series or maybe the Urban Armor series. Those are very durable cases, but not in the same class as the Lifeproof/Seidio cases.
For that reason, it's a relatively easy choice you have before you, IMO. Purchase an unlocked version of the Galaxy S4, specifically the North American i9505 model (because even though it's only quad-core it supports LTE 4G), and then encase it in the Seideo OBEX for the IP68 and MIL-STD-810F standard of protection.
Meizu MX2 or 3

Hello, I recently bought a Doogee 6.5" smartphone, and would like an extra battery and some screen protectors for it. However I have not found any anywhere, would anyone know of a place to buy ? Also looking for a gel/silicone case. Thanks
Hi Everyone,
Are there any good reliable off brand tablets out there? I am not being cheap, I was just curious about some of these random tablets I have seen out there with awesome specs but aren't made by the usual makes available in brick and mortar stores.
Thanks!
