I saw one here for the Nexus 5 but couldn't find a template for the nexus 4 and nothing on Ringke's site either so I whipped one up.
Now you can crop/resize whatever to perfectly fit.

For those who are not good at photoshop I created a template in Corel
Anyone have a Chelsea FC template for nexus 5?
The hole for the speaker is not good. It's offset diagonally up and left

I have a template for a touchpad skin (like the one on gelaskins)
Can I have someone test it out for me by just printing it on normal paper and cutting it out using scissors to see if it works? My printer has gone boom and apart from this I have no need to buy a new one.
Of course if it works, you guys and girls can use it for yourselves, just hit the thanks button for me !

Yes, I printed it out. Sorry not to reply earlier. The image looks great, but on 8 1/2" x 11" paper it is too small to use as a template. Both front and back print side by side on the same sheet - basically at half size and my printer won't take a larger sheet of paper.
Can you separate the front and back - basically place one template per page?

Front and back seperated and I have added the links to the JPG files for those two. Should fit one per page
Anybody else tried it yet?

I printed out the back and placed it on the back of my Touchpad. As you can see, the size is still too small but the proportions seem pretty good. The design behind your template is a skin I already have on the back of my device.
Hope this helps!

I kept it small on purpose cuz if it covers the entire back then the corners start to fold up and crease.....we could snip sections off the corners and work that way if people want to I'm open to suggestions. It seems like i need to try and make it bigger perhaps by 10%. I'll update the links soon
What about the front?
Shot from my Evo 3D using Tapatalk
link updated....the back should be perfect now
I found the front to be a bit too big.
I will try again....

Is it possible to make a full template, including the sides and all in one piece?
Btw, they are still too small....
What file are you trying to print? The back fits perfectly now and i haven't updated the front
To be honest it is possible but i don't have the equipment the pro companies have to scan the devices and measuring them up, but yes it is possible

Hi,
Ok, I used corel paintshop pro v12. I had to crop the outer grey area for the template to fit correctly. It printed and fits perfectly!
got a picture?

Just wanted to say thanks for the template my Touchpad has a huge crack right down the back of the case. I've tried the x-case tpu, but the extra weight was a pain, so using your template I cut out a skin from some matt black vinyl I had kicking around. Fits brilliantly thanks again.

So I received my Nexus 4 Bumper today. I was using the Ringke Slim case which was a defective because of the warping of the side near the volume button. Also today I received the replacement for the slim case so I decided to make a faceplate to add onto the bumper. The back is nice with its patterned dots but for now I am going for protection until there are better screen protectors out there.
Decided to cut the defective case to be a faceplate for the back of my phone. Still experimenting how much to cut the side but this is what I have. Some problems so far is that it gives it an extra thickness to what Google originally had for the bumper. So when holding the phone on the edge it has this popping feel. If I cut more of the side of the case this might eliminate the problem. You still get the lipped edge around the screen. Buttons still work but I didn't get the nice satisfying click. But I will work with the sides of the faceplate again
Thought I would share this even though it might seem useless a bit
Make sure Apple doesnt steal this design:beer:

Well I was experimenting with it too much and cut the case where it doesn't fit as nicely compared to before. You need some kind of edge around so it doesn't simply fall out of the bumper. Just experiment as you go and place the faceplate then your phone in
Interesting.... and looks very nice to the very least haha. I would totally buy this if it was a case
sounds like a plan

I was given permission to post a review on a high quality nexus 4 microseude pouch..here it is:thumbup:
High quality sewed product, that comes in a variety of fabric choice/colors, this pouch holds a nexus 4 with a diztronic tpu case so if you got a bumper or any other case/bumper this pouch will hold it, fits in a pants pocket perfectly, utilizes a draw string to keep it from falling out, does not attract any lint...out of all pouches this is a great product you will not regret buying...and with the official nexus logo its a clear reminder that the nexus device is and always will be a must have device for android enthusiast

I bought the same exact one but on black. I now use it to store headphones and a charger. I love this pouch it works really well on my phone with any case or bumper too

You keep your phone in a sock?
When clicking the OP link I'm getting an error message, anyone getting the same thing? Seriously want that pouch...
The person who makes those pouches has an account here on XDA. Here you go a link to their post about these pouches:

So, has anyone tried coloring the white speaker grill on the Nexus 5 with a sharpie or something or even markers? It's not something I HAVE to have, it would just be really nice and then I could have a perfect Nexus 5, well at least in my eyes it would be perfect
Friendly bump
Huh? What is the point of this thread? You want to know if someone else colored their white nexus with a marker?

Lol, I would have but white is the only one they had at the time I ordered. I was okay with it till I opened the box and saw that front speaker grill.
And yeah, I guess the point of this thread is to figure out if anyone has colored their white nexus 5

Anyone have backplate templates for the 6P? Why re-invent the wheel right?
Instead of dbrand or slickwraps I'm planning on printing my own with some sticker paper.

That's an interesting idea. I wonder how hard it would be to get it off, like would it leave a sticky residue

Depends what adhesive paper you use. Dbrand uses 3M and they are easily removed without issue.
So, you would print out the template on 3M sticky paper and cut it out by hand?
Sorry for bringing up an old post. You can use regular paper and place it between the phone and a transparent case. I've been doing it for years and it looks great!
somebody should post it for free. WE had also this thread for Nexus 5: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50686849

Why not just get a ringke fusion case, they have a window and you can download a printable template for them. This is my daily driver case now and I'm really happy with it.
I just got a Silhouette Portrait, and have been working on a template for the back and the front of the phone for the past few days. I still need to clean it up a bit, but it's coming along quite well. I'll upload what I've got so far once I get home. I think it's a proprietary file type, but I'll try to convert it for you.
Sorry for the delay. Here's what I've got though. I couldn't get the template itself to convert to any other file type, so I included a scan of the actual skin with it, just in case.
They're not zip files, just remove the ".zip" extension, and you should be good to go. Be sure to share what you come up with, and I'll do the same.
