Hey guys,
So stopping by xda I noticed an anti throttle thread with an actual solution.
I have tested this myself!
The data use still shows up on your account, but you are never slowed!
Change apn to internet2.Voicestream.com
That's it !

It only works for a few hours, maybe even a day or two, but it doesn't work, I've tried everything. That's been debunked for a while.

It wont fix it if your already throttled.
I just did it two days ago, I was over a gig over my limit. And still streaming netflix two days in a row

Whelp I'll continue with my unlimited. I went up to 7 gb on a 5 gb plan. Never slowed.

Last I heard, this was patched on tmobiles end reasonably soon after the g2 got hacked last year.

Well in the thread i posted lots of people are doing it. Its an apn not set up for throttling anymore. It would never take 3 full days on two devices well over the limit to get throttled

Can confirm, once throttled, no effect. Prior to throttle, does not log data, and i have not been throttled yet.

Yup, it is working for me too...streaming netflix and over as well.

I should have done this weeks ago. I went over the limit this month and I've been having 2g data speeds for a week and a half. It sucks. If this apn doesn't work then ill just have to never use 4g hotspot to play xbox online again. Lol

The ping on 4g is so bad that must have been laggy anyway lol

No go on $50 monthly plan here...resturants,beach areas,etc I frequent have wifi so no biggie. I wish androids worked on my old $20 ul data/text plan tho. I never really used the net alot more so cuz tmobile just got 3g here mid last year.

Nah it was perfect. I was actually in a 4g area and full bars.
The status bar will tell u ur on 4g when ur on 3g or 4g, so its hard to tell unless.u do a speed test

So Long Atrix 2

Was fun while it lasted here but just after 6 months my atrix 2 screen just quit on me and was thinking of ending my contract with att but they decided to give me a galaxy s2 for 50 bucks for not cancelling my contract so ill be heading over there so thank for the support guys and best of luck.

yes, here in Italy we still have mediaworld (aka mediamarket) that in some of their shop is still selling the NS. Unfortunately the price still also not cheap.

I bought mine on Ebay...and the seller ended up being a fellow xda member!

I would totally sell you mine in mint condition, s-off, rooted and running my favorite lightningfast undeadk9 Rubix Rom... BUT I was planning to replace it with a banned Galaxy Nexus as well...

I would wait. Simple as that. If you want a QWERTY phone, this is a nice one. But we have a few roms and its a good. We have what we need, and nothing we don't. If you a flashaholic, buy a GNEX off NewEgg. Or buy.com. **** Apple, they can't stop you from getting a nice phone.

They should. Apple just blocked the sales of ones from Google, you should be able too. Worse comes to worse, you can't check out. Try all your trusted sites. Newegg, Buy.Com, O.Co, Amazon, Ebay. Cowboom. Etc, etc.

How much are you looking to spend? I'd like $250 for it, but open to a reasonable offer. Mine is S-OFF and rooted running the latest Miktouch.
