Welcome to Eos! The Eos project originated with the AOSP release of ICS, and was originally founded by Solarnz and co founded by Bigrushdog. Since then, Eos has evolved into a multinational collaborative effort backed by top Android developers. Our objective is to provide a world class AOSP build with unique features and enhancements. Eos is an ongoing development project in which builds are released on a regular basis. Every release should be considered stable and highly functional.

I'm back with a new project that feels a lot like my old project. If you were familiar with CFX i used to work on you'll feel right at home here. Same minimal feel with a few new features added in.
Nice to see support for another rom comeing to the one s

Whichever the non-datamedia ones are are fine, I can't remember the ville hboot numbers. I use the standard CM trees so if you normally use an official CM build you are good to go here as well.

Yes that is hboot 2.15 for our device.
Nice to see you back!
I may have to spend some time and build this for 2.16 hboot one day. I just have too many apps and data for the non data media partitions with the app sizes these days

Nice!! I was looking for something simple and stable. Just found you. Fantastic job. Thank you very much for such a nice ROM. I've been using it for about 48 hours now and haven't found a single bug. Everything works so well.
Where's the donate button?
Thank you!
Simple is the best.
Work's fine. Look's nice.
Updates daily, delicious.
changelog?
Thanks for this rom. I was looking for something more stable than CM 10.2 and this one is very stable. The only problem I've seen is the accelerometer sometimes is just flat wrong. Most of the time it's ok but sometimes it's convinced the phone is rotated to an orientation that's it's not.
Where can I find changelogs for the nightly builds? There haven't been any commits for the ville version since may 15 but the build sizes are changing. Are you taking the latest updates from CM 11?

ATM were not really dropping changelogs. But yes my trees are based on CM...and there hasn't been any movement there on the trees recently that I have seen. If anything major comes in I'll be sure to comment here. You can also keep up with out github and gerrit to see what we are working on.

dirty flash successful. so far all is running well. if I come across any issues I'll let u guys know.
I did a clean flash of this after it first dropped and have let it sit while I was doing other things. I just picked the phone up and was doing some things and I have had 5 "unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped" in the last 3 minutes. I am also showing phone using 35% battery and havent made a call or anything.
What gapps package r u using?

Just did a clean flash.
For anyone usiing Titanium Backup, go to preferences and backup location, choose the legacy folder to get to the titanium backup folder or else your backups won't work in 4.3
Just flashed, restoring apps now. So far this seems way to stable to be a first 4.3 for this device! I ran the first alpha builds on my N7 (original) and there were several bugs right off the bat. Will do some thorough testing over the next few days. nicklovell23, do you want bug reports or logcats posted here or on the Slim site? And thanks again for picking up where Cordell left off, looking forward to these new builds.

Will do.
One thing I'm noticing is that sometimes my back and menu physical buttons are not responding. Mainly the back button. I can't tell if it's a delayed lagging action or a negative response. It's random, so if I run adb logcat, it could be a large file depending on when the issue decides to surface. If I take a slim bug report immediately after it happens, does that include a recent log of the issue as if adb was running?

I use my external. Had no issues restoring.
Also, if you don't want bad things to happen, be sure to enable root access in dev options before changing dpi. I learned that the hard way on my N7.
Just had a restart trying to open camera app
edit: starting camera app causes phone to restart every single time for me now. It worked a few times. Can anyone else confirm this. I need a camera app tonight, hopefully I can get a 3rd party one to work

What's Broken:
ROMS
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy JB. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes

Nice! What perfect timing for me to look for a new ROM to install on my daughter's nexus7. Thanks for this!
It seems to be running OK. Everything is scrolling OK from my small use while I installed and configured the ROM options. The kids aren't complaining, well more like crying. They're 2 and 4, and if their much loved and much used YouTube and kids learning games machine fails to load or play anything, I get the waterworks until I fix it LOL.
I'll see how battery goes over the next few days, I usually leave their N7 to be stock kernel that comes with whatever ROM I install. I also did a fresh wipe/factory reset so it is a clean install.
All in all so far, it's looking good so far!

+OmniSwitch cool! bring it to #1 keep it up.
Getting really slow charging here - 20% in 2 hours (and yes, I am using the official wall charger and cable that came with my N7). I've changed to Franco 77 kernel to see if that makes any difference.
ZM
edit: Ok now charging at normal speed with Franco 77.
Great ROM, love the features available. Would like to suggest implementing the option to disable Nav bar for those who use LMT or any gesture based controls as Nav bar is pretty redundant in this case. Workaround to this is to use gravity box disable it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but after having a Nexus 5 I believe AOSPA is only official for nexus and a handful of developer-friendly devices which already use AOSP as their base over cyanogen. Meaning there won't be an official PA build for any G3.
Woke up at 4am with tooth pain.. Time to flash away..

Cyanogen is aosp.... All custom Roms besides stock based firmware is based off aosp. I would doubt that the g3 will end up being one of those handful of devices. If not j don't think it really matters. Pulling source and commits unofficial is just as good to me as official. No worries

I'm a member of the Paranoid Android Legacy team (link in my signature) and my AT&T G3 will be here in a few hours. While we definitely appreciate the unofficial build posted here, I'll go ahead and confirm now that once the main Paranoid Android team releases their first 5.0-based builds (for Nexus/Opo only, you guys are right), the Legacy team will be releasing their first builds as well (we still have NO firm answer on which devices will be supported by Legacy, we're all still testing to figure out how old of devices we want to support [the G3 family obviously doesn't fall into this]).
The D850 (as well as other G3 variants) will be built by the official PA Legacy build server, which means fast, reliable builds and downloads, as well as access to code during the development cycle that hasn't yet been open-sourced by the PA team (for the 4.0 series, that included Hover, Dynamic System Bars, etc, all of which were then later made open source once the major bugs were worked out).
While this part of the plan isn't yet finalized, I would assume that I will be posting the [Official] thread here on XDA to keep up with development and Q&A sometime in the next week or two. If you want an idea of how I do things, check out my HTC One X threads (links also in my signature). I try to be super clear about everything, include all the details I can, even to the point of excess hahaha.
@777jon, great work! I look forward to flashing this soon to see how it is, and I may be touch with you if you think you'd maybe want to help us keep some GitHub stuff up to date and hang out in chat with us (Legacy guys).
Thanks @Cryptecks I've been this running build for a while. Haven't had any issues yet. Not sure about Bluetooth as I do not use it.
That's great stuff. Glad to see PA and the legacy team jumping on this. Hopefully.:beer:

The main PA team is still working on things for their officially supported devices (Nexus/Opo), keep an eye on their Google+ community/page for more news on that. Let me be clear again:
There won't be ANY [Official] PA builds for any other devices (known as the Legacy team/community/[group of devices]) until the main PA team releases builds officially through either G+ or http://www.paranoidandroid.co.
@777jon has my full blessing to continue with Unofficial builds here in this thread until that time comes (when I will put up my own thread, this will be my last "hi-jacking" of this one for Official news) and honestly I hope that he would like to help us maintain the Official series as well, again when the time comes.
Cryptecks said:

Team EOS Falcon Nightly builds
(Builds are not generated if there are no changes to source, saving you from useless updates)
Because this is an AOSP based ROM, Google Apps are not included. Flash the gapps of your choosing after you flash the ROM. If you need help finding a gapps package, ask any of us and we'll be happy to help
These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LATEST 5.1.X COMPATIBLE RECOVERY.
Detailed instructions:
Going to EOS 5.1.X from another ROM:
Boot to recovery
BACKUP YOUR CURRENT SETUP!!!
Make a full wipe (Dalvik, Dalvik Cache, System, Data)
Flash the ROM
Flash optional kernel if you choose to not use provided kernel **We DO NOT support outside kernels**
Flash gapps
Reboot
Updating from an older EOS build to new EOS build:
You can usually skip the full wipe step and just wipe both caches. If ever you encounter an issue make sure you make a full wipe first before reporting it. This is what most call "Dirty Flashing". Normally this doesn't cause problems, but keep in mind a clean flash is always the best way to go.

@falconnoob Hey, EOS has been making lollipop updates for months now and have been looking for a maintainer, if somebody wanted to build it they had more then enough time. There's still Many other ROM's that can be built for the Moto G such as Benzo, Vexxo, Omni, Terminus, Rastapop etc...
Tried the 27th build already from teameos.org. Will flash the new build later.
Dual Sim supported and No layers support.

Possibly coolest feature of any ROM out there

Same here, clean flash with TK Pico Gapps. Flashed some TBO themed apps as usual and those were fc-ing plus trying to connect to wifi during setup was giving me a fc. Backed up and skipped wifi part, then tried to connect to wifi but same issue. Tried to open Play Store and another fc.
By the way, awesome to see Tesla on this device! If you build it, they will come...

I flashed rom first without gapps, then back to recovery to flash gapps after letting it settle, but as soon as gapps installed, Google play fc's as soon as you try to do anything Gapps related.
