Has anyone seen this? Occasionally when I open one of the folders on the home screen the icons are dim or grayed out. The app will still open though. My phone is completely stock, the black text is zooper widget.

For example, i have four icons: Phone, Mail, Camera and Messeges.
I want Phone, GMAIL, Contacts and Browser.
How can i do this?
Thanks a lot

On the standard home screen (wont work with adw for example) press the bottom right paint pallete icon.
It's under there.

is there any way to get rid of them altogether? ie i dont want any icons on my lock screen
Lately my phone has been randomly be getting a glitch where the screen looks like its trying to scroll to another page (as if im scrolling through my home screen). Most noteabley is that the notification bar extends on and has orange text, also I should say it only glitches/slide to the right. I can recreate this event if I open snapchat and scroll over the friends tab. I believe it might have somthing to do with the notification bar though I have yet to find anyone with a fix. Does anyone have an idea what I could do?
Hey guys,
The lock screen seems a little bit funky. I want to make it so that I can see a preview of text messages on the lock screen. Maybe I should just get a different SMS app?
I notice that it won't let me put two widgets on the same page on the lock screen. Whenever I try to add a widget to the home screen, it makes me make a new page. How could i add it so it shows the text preview under the clock? Some insight on this would be great. My Samsumg would show the text message automatically on the lock screen
I just turned around and my phone was lit up.
I swiped to unlock and then another icon appeared on the launcher home screen...
I already had one shortcut to iobd2 there but another appeared as I unlocked. It's got a larger icon!?
If I long press and look at app info, its the same app info.
If I go to the app drawer and add the app again, it adds it as a small icon, like the original one.
Am I just being paranoid or does this seem a bit dodgy?
Apps have permission to add icons to your homescreen. WeChat always does this the first time you sign in. It's annoying.
As to why that app is making a new icon on your homescreen, I have no idea. I would assume that it was automatically updated by the Play Store and that (like WeChat) it adds itself to the home screen whenever the app is freshly initialized. But that's just speculation.
As for the icon size difference, I imagine that the larger one is in fact a 1x1 widget.
I've been noticing that when I get a brand new text, if I try to see it by double touching on it from the lock screen, it disappears, as if I never got the message. And even when I open the messaging app, the text still won't be there. Wondering if anyone else has this problem? And is there a way around it or fix it?
