Hey, I'm using the app Headphone Button Controller with my N5 and the only thing that bugs me is the fact that it always shows a headphone icon in the status bar. Is there any way to disable this? I can just test if the app is running with the button on my headphones, no need for an icon.
Settings / Applications / Headphone Button Controller / Uncheck the box that says "Show notifications"

Also this belongs in Q+A forum, not themes and apps.
That worked. Thanks a lot!

When you pull down the quick settings menu from the top of the screen, is there any way to not require unlocking the phone to toggle settings on/off? For instance, I can turn flight mode and sound/vibrate/mute on and off without unlocking but if I press the bluetooth or wifi icons, it then requests unlocking the phone to turn them on/off. Is there any way to change the settings so they can just be toggled on/off without unlocking?
It makes sense don't you think?
If somebody stoles your phone and can turn off the GPS or Data, you won't find it anymore...

I get the solution from digging on web
Press the home hot key.press the options hot key(the one with three horizontal lines)task manager list will be opened will all the minimized appsjust SWIPE DOWN on the app you wanted to run in backgroundNow A lock symbol will be displayed on the app, which means that app is locked from killing by task manager.i.e your app will now run in background even after killing all the tasks in task manager. To reverse it(to unlock it or to prevent running it in background) press the home, then options hot key.. Now swipe that app UP..that lock symbol will be gone and you can kill it with task manager.

To lock your application in background.
1. Press the SQUARE button next to Home button (CIRCLE)
2. Applications list will appeared.
3. Swipe down the application that you need to lock in the background. You will see a locked icon on top right of the application.
4. To unlock it just do Swipe down again.
Good Luck.
So I've been toying around with my Nav bar. At first XBlast was working fine, but then randomly stopped working. The main things I want to do is replace recent apps with a menu key (have recent apps be the long press of it) and have a double tap of a blank space lock the screen. I don't know what caused the conflict but it stopped working. I also liked having a slide across the notifications bar adjust the brightness but that stopped working too. I've been using Gravitybox for tweaking but it doesn't have all of the features I want, and some of them randomly don't work as well. For some reason, it seems like doesn't have a proper measurement of the nav bar because adding keys makes it off center. Any other ways I can get the features I want or possibly get Xblast to work?
Modules I have:
Flat Stle Colored Bars
GravityBox [MM]
RootCloak
Secure Settings
Swype Tweaks (which also doesn't work for some reason )
XBlast Tools
Xposed Additions
XStana
Youtube AdAway
Gravity box doesn't work on huawei software

It doesn't work well but it does some things whereas Xblast doesnt work at all. I ended up enabling the Nova gesture, but I wanted to be able to lock my screen from any app too. I'm just hoping someone eventually makes a Tweaksbox app like they did for the LG G3/G4.

Hi
in forum I not find section for LG K8, and I create this thread here
My phone is LG K8 and this phone not support Smart Cover and Quick Circle or Side, but I want this feature in my phone
I buy a cover with Quick Circle view, but it not work (because my phone NOT support), and I install app that when close cover, screen turn off and when open cover, screen turn on, this work with proximity sensor. it work correctly...
but my problems:
1. when cover closed and i received a call, screen NOT turn on and in quick circle view NOT show any notification and when I open and close cover, show notification and show ringing with theme's Smart Cover app...
2. and when i have missed call or i have new sms, in quick circle, NOT show. and SHOW 0 SMS and 0 Miss call....
for example i use from this apps, and same apps: (I have new user and cannot wtire link, please find this IDs in Google Play)
id=com.skyarmy.sensornearcover
id=com.skyarmy.refresh.smartcover
in apps, i select apps from setting's phone for administrative and accept all access for app...
sorry for my bad english...
Waiting for your replays
Thanks
i think for this:
Extract this feature (smart Cover) from ROMs that included this app (for example stock ROMs LFino or G4 and...) and edit the source for work whit proximity sensor...
it is possible?
no any idea?
Jeez the broken english

I Got a New Button on Navigation Bar, After Updating to MiUi 11 Manually. That button/Icon Looks Like a Human Standing With Hands Wide Open, in the bottom right corner.. And i am not able to disable or make it go away from there. There is no option anywhere to do so.
My roommate also updated with the same zip file which i gave him but there is no such button in his phone.
Anyone Esle Got this Same Button after Update ? What is this New Navigation Button ? How to Remove it ?
I updated from MiUi 10.3.13.0 to 11.0.5.0, via 2GB Zip File Provided In XDA, Redmi Note 7 Pro(Violet) India..

I tried it before only, The Accesibility Shortcut Button Option is Already Off, I Never Touched it to turn on or anything. It just appeared after MiUi 11 Update.
You Can See It In Screenshot That the Button Shortcut Option is Turned Off :-

Just updated and it happened to me too. Any solution? It's really annoying tbh
I had the same problem on my Redmi note 7, but solved by the following way: going to accessibility menu --> display --> magnification --> magnification with button -- turn it off. (It's not enough, if only accessibility menu or magnification is turned off, you have to turn off also the "m.w.b" button)

Are u sure ? Then it shouldn't gib
Check accessibility menu --> display --> magnification --> magnification with button -- turn it off.
Alternatively, ditch the Nav buttons altogether and use Gestures instead. Once you've got used to Gestures, you'll never miss those buttons ever again!
From a recent convertee...
I just fixed mine.
For some reason if you go through the normal path, settings > additional settings > accessibility > accessibility menu, and disable it, it doesn't work.
If you use the search function in the settings, 'accessibility menu' is duplicated I don't know why.
https://i.imgur.com/3JWfFbY_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium
You have to disable it in both of them to make the icon go away.

hi bro,
jst go to
accessibility
interaction controls
accessibility menu
switch off
control your device using convenient shortcuts
thats all
Finally after a few months i disable the man like in navigation buttons
Just force stop or uninstall updates the Android Accessibility Suite, and the icon will disappear:fingers-crossed:
I just fixed mine. Try to turn on accessibility mode, and then turn it off again. Then the standing man button disappear. Thank God. Mine is mi max 3 miui 11.
Sulution
Please off Accessibility and inside that menu off select to speak also I have fixed this issue recently
This solved it for me. Thank you.
I know this kinda old thread but I also had this issue. Turns out I also activated Nova (launcher) accessibility shortcut - the lower part - while granted accessibility access to Nova. Even if I disabled the accessibility menu the 'T' man was still there. Bottom line, when granting accessibility tick only the first option. I felt like a complete idiot.
