So with the latest firmware and fear manager update I can no longer install apps like toggles gear and watch styler like I'll down load them and able to open them on my note 3 . But won't work on gear 2 . Any one else experiencing same issue ?

I am having the same problem since I originally bought my gear 2 neo. I have searched high and low with no solution to be found. I suppose its just a matter of waiting on more support for tizen or a good working port of android or wear. Till then its at least usable.

Missing the custom watchfaces that I could create via WatchStyler. Any word on updates for WatchStyler or another variant of such product to run on Tizen?
For the love of all things that ring, please Devs make that happen! Pretty please?! :]
A watch styler update shows its compatible with the gear 2 but it still doesn't show up in gear manager anyone else having any luck

I have a Gear 2 running on a Galaxy K Zoom in Texas. However most of the apps mentioned here don't shop up for me in Samsung Apps through Gear Manager. Is the Samsung App Store region/carrier/device specific? Can't find Paypal, Gear Navigator, etc. Anyone know how I can get the apps to show up?

Here the same. Before ugrading to Tizen I had Eevernote, Glympse and MyMyRide on my Gear1. All gone now and not showing up in the store in Gear Manager. I think I didn't upgrade, but downgrade to Tizen :crying:
No problem

I have a good news for you , downgrade from tizen to Android is possible and very easy, it's toturial ( how to )
If after downgrade your touch screen isn't working, don't panic You must flash evrything again and evrything works perfect, i too update, to tizen and back to android.

any solution or idea ?!?
Think it might be device specific. I have a note 2 with gear 2 Neo and no Golf Navi, gear navigator, etc. Decided to reset and pair neo to my work phone (galaxy S4) and they showed up. Tried downloading application to S4 then backed up apk and loaded on note 2. Application installed on phone OK but failed to install in gear manager. Not sure if this applies to all scenarios but this was my experience.

I am a developer and I have published Gear apps
Developer can choose group of devices and can also select regions and countries
I do select always all devices and all countries.
If the developer decide to select some devices and only one country, the the app will be published to the selected devices and to that country only
Why? I don't know!!
If you can't see my apps, then the problem is in your side
check "My Gear Apps" topic
Actually can see your apps in gear manager Lux and Thank you for your work on them. Looks like some GPS based apps (at least in my case) are being excluded from the Note 2 running 4.4.2

The previous version of my app (Multi-Watch) was compatible with 89 devices.
The current version only 55....
I didn't change or add any permissions.
Its a complete mystery to me.

Thank you for the heads up. Now I'll stop uninstalling and reinstalling thinking it's something on my end.

this is what the developer console of the app store shows to me now:
<see attached screenshot>
I tried asking them what is the reason for it, but got referred to a standard app publishing paragraph..... as usual.
In total I have asked them 13 questions now, never got a real straight forward answer on my questions.
I wish there was a way to call them and speak with them on the phone.

hi could you please post the model number i should use in the build prop please
Thanks
It is a filter problem caused by the Samsung app store. Currently, they filter the devices manually like so: Gear 2 + Galaxy S5, Gear 2 + S4... and so on, which I think is kinda dumb. My apps on there are filtered for 55 combinations. I'm sure they are missing a lot!

Try updating Samsung apps or gear software
I'm getting the same on nexus 5

I recently bought a Galaxy Gear Live and was excited to use it with S health on my Galaxy S5. Turns out, though samsung claimed they would update their software to be compatible with their watch, it still isnt. Not a problem, though. I thought i would still use the google fit app, as its an android wear device. Turns out my phone isnt even compatible with the google app?? Im not sure what to do as both company apps are not supported. Any ideas?

Just because it says it's incompatible doesn't mean it won't still work on your device. You could download the apk and attempt to install, worse case scenario is it won't work

Tried that now, it seems to glitch my phone and freezes it. Also, i just found out other S5's ARE compatible.

I have a nexus 6, rooted on cm14 (android 7.1). Watch works for the most part (no messenging app for some reason), and can confirm Samsung pay does work. Only tested Samsung pay at one location, and I will say that it did fail multiple times before I found the "sweet spot" and it went through.
Same problem here, force close with gear manager from play store... Any solutions ?
I run a stock LG G5 non-rooted with no issues with any apps or watch functions. The issuesnis more than likely root and/or a non-stock rom being installed. I suggest flashing backk to non-rooted stock and that will probably resolve both issues.

I can't call from the watch neither reply to a message from the watch since I have my mate 9.
Worked fine with a S6

I have a Oneplus 3 on android 7.0 oxygen OS unrooted paired to gear s3 frontier, been using this set-up as previously trying cyanogenmod 14 rooted (resurrection remix) found one annoying issue.
The phone dialler just freezes as soon as you dial someone. This works perfectly fine on stock rom.
I'm not sure but will try rooting oxygen os and see if this happens, to determine if rooting causes issue. Also using third party apps for texting seems to have better compatibility.
Will try this theory on phone dialler to see if it works. I hate the fact it wont dial phone numbers presaved with #* or 2 second pause.
Also noticed I don't see anything on gear manager for Samsung pay set up.
I had a gear s2 previously and worked prefectly on stock or custom rooted roms.
Still with its faults I love it. samsung as always has to mess up with small but simple things ;(

Xebec, I am having the exact same issue on my Galaxy S6 Active with nougat beta3 not connecting to Gear S3.
Worked perfectly when I was on 6.0.1!
Do you know of a thread where this is being discussed, or an available workaround?
Much Thanks

I have not found any workaround. I did actually contact Samsung and they were surprised that it didn't work, though they had no solution.
With Nougat official OTA I'm having no problems.

I have to rooted Nexus 6p running 7.1.2. still, but can't find the gear app in the play store? Is it because I'm rooted? I had to manual download the apks to get the phon and watch paired.
Side note, gear sport will be coming out next month. So I'm tempi tempted to try that if my test week with S3 goes well.
My phone is also rooted, but I can see the app in PlayStore. So it's not the reason.

Then what would be the reason? I have a Nexus 6p, which meets the requirements according to Samsung's site.

Any clue where to fix to make visible App and Plugin on Custom ROMs? Maybe build.prop
I use Resurrection Rom on Nubia z11. App and Plugin not available to download in market. I have to manually download apks to phone and install.
