Battery life - Galaxy Note 3 General

Hey guys,
I wonder which combination of Rom and kernel do you recommend for battery life?
Thanks in advance.

X-Note or Echoe rom with leankernel. I read their threads and peaople with that combination are happy.

Currently, I'm on official cm 11 with Temasek kernel and all is fine. I don't like tw roms. Thanks for your answer.

I agree, I'm on Echoe and leankernel and I just love my battery life. The battery is great, even on LTE.

Temasek cm11 is definitely a great choice absolutely love it, great battery life, smooth, stable and fast. I'm really impressed with the battery life lasts me a whole day and sometimes more on fairly high usage

DS Pro app ???

Battery life is dependent on your phone, your signal, your usage, your setup, your syncs, your I/O and scheduler choices, whether OC or not...no one can tell you definitively which is the "BEST" anything here...they have figured out what is best for them. Therefore these threads are closed on XDA as they cannot be based on any development.
Please back up your device, try some combinations out, for 2 days each to allow for syncing and settling, then find what is BEST for you.
Thanks

youre not looking for a rom, youre looking for a kernel. roms dont control cpu speed, unless they also included a OCed kernel. try morfics trinity 1.44ghz kernel.
what you're looking for is a KERNEL that supports overclocking. not a ROM.
although a ROM may include a kernel that supports OC.
NSCollab has Netarchy's kernel included. So flashing that ROM would have what you're looking for. If you want to use another ROM that doesn't include a kernel with OC capabilities. Download Netarchy's kernel from his thread and flash the ROM then flash the kernel afterwards.
Can it do damage overclocking?

Can it? Yes.
Will it? Probably not.
Should you overclock if you can't afford to ruin you phone? Probably not.

First of all get rid of juice defender. Secondly give some recharge cycles.
Third, check wakelocks and manage them.
Fourth, manage brightness. Leave at minimum or use velis or custom autobrightness.

I quote what cukierkas said. Some recharge cycles (usually 3 or 4) are necessary for stabilize battery performance..
Another suggestion: if your phone is rooted, manage the governore and scheduler for optimizing performance and battery drains.
Thanks guys for the suggestions...
I checked my wakelocks... Bit seriously i dint know what the **** wakelocks are and how to deal with them...
The thing is that i followed some battery cycles (currently in 2) and i am seeing some major improvements !!

How can you get so high scores?? :/
Mine and two friends of mine hit max 20k!
Do you live in cold countries?
Here in Greece it's way too hot, so i guess thermal throttling is to blame here.
Nope west Australia here so bloody hot. Just by playing with governors and things

Great scores mate!
I may switch to cm10.2 if other kernels give me the same gpu score because my gpu score is lower than stock tw firmware, so I want to find out what is the issue.
