i tried rooting my galaxy ace but after i clicked reboot it didn't switch back on, it had been on the samsung screen for hours.
i have tried turning it off and on but it wont work.
also i cant put the unroot file onto my phone as it does not full switch on it can not be recognised by my computer
is their a away to fix this? maybe from recovery mode or something?!!? please help
thank you.
Enter the recovery menu and use data wipe / factory reset. If it is still stuck, you need to use Odin to reflash your phone.

Use download mode and Odin and flash stock ROM.
So, I was attempting to flash Omega ROM, but the wifi wasn't working. Long story short I ended up in the wrong thread and the suggestion was to factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache/fix permissions, then format everything but the external SD card. Now all I get is the Galaxy Note 10.1 intro screen, and the "Download" mode when pressing the power and volume down key, which just keeps saying "Downloading, do not turn off target" (Advice I'm guessing I should've paid attention to) Please help me out guys! I really hope I didn't just make a $340 paper-weight :crying::crying::crying:
Update: Was able to get into recovery, should be fine, thanks guys!
You are fine... Just locate the back to stock Odin files... That should fix you up...

I can't do anything except watch the Note 10.1 logo and the "Downloading... Do not turn off target!!" screen.

Also the device isn't recognized by my computer, and I can't get back into recovery mode. Really freaking out here!
Thought you said you could get into recovery?
Your computer shouldnt "detect" when its plugged in AND in download mode,
Odin SHOULD though - should say "COM 1" or something to that effect
Flash a stock rom on it through ODIN, you formatted everything and have no rom...
ODIN should be able to detect when in download mode, if not then re-install the samsung device drivers.... Don't leave it turned on too long or you won't have sufficient juice in your battery to flash.... I would suggest holding down power button for 10 seconds and shutting off completely, plugging in and waiting til you are certain you have more than 50% power...
My phone is currently stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy S II" logo when booted and it won't go past that. I can't get into recovery mode and download mode.
SuperSU had an update and I accidentally pressed "twrp/cwm" instead of "normal" which made my phone reboot and has been stuck at the Samsung logo at boot up since then.
How may I be able to rectify this problem? I'd appreciate your advise.
Btw, I'm using Siyah-v3.2.6.4.
