Tab 3 T210R 4.1.2. Stock Kernel ROM - Galaxy Tab 3 General

I'm looking for a ROM for my Tab, I've tried three different ROMs all ending with the Status 7 error. I haven't tried the Inspire ROM and would like to but the Dropbox account has been disabled. I've searched for a new download but could not find anything. Could anyone point me in the direction of getting this ROM or possibly help with the Status 7 error? I really do not want to edit a ROM and brick my device. Thanks in advance.

I'm using CWM-based Recovery v6.0.4.7 isn't this the newest version? I just downloaded and rooted my Tab this morning.

[ROOT] Straight Talk: Samsung Galaxy Centura

It's been successfully rooted with POOT.
It has also been rooted via CWM by Area51 Here for CWM and then Here for Root! I did find some ROM development going on at Area51 as well here. Area51's CWM does not appear to play nice with any phone rooted with Poot however so it's best to install CWM from Area51 first and then use their root method.

The root method used at A51 is out-of-date, and can't be updated. Therefore, you'll continuously receive an update notification and won't be able to stop it.

Not True! All you have to do is just not install the update when it boots you into CWM. This will be fixed when they complete the ROM they're working on. I don't get update reminders after accepting the first one and just not installing it once in recovery mode at the install screen!
My roomate just got this phone, gonna root it for her. Thanks for posting methods.

You might want to wait for Area51 to complete their first ROM for the phone. Currently it has an annoying update that keeps trying to install over the rooted stock OS that will break root if you install it. Of course you can just keep clicking on accept and then selecting NO when you get to the install update screen in CWM like I do, but it's an annoyance.

Galaxy Centura 4.X
Is there any roms for the Samsung Galaxy Centura on StraightTalk that is Android version 4.1, 4.2 or above?
Not yet. Something that Samsung broke in the kernel is preventing the ROMs from booting up.

I just installed cwm with Odin and I did a backup. I downloaded all the files for root and place it in clockwork backup folder. When I go to cwm and restore backup folder I get a md5 mismatch error. Is their anyway to fix that?

Did you rename the backup? If it has spaces, it will cause that error.

What's the best method of returning this phone back stock is there a flashable firmware or tar file?
Does anyone know what has become of Androidarea51 ??
I've been trying to access that site for some time and it always fails to load.
It has been mentioned in this thread as a source for rooting this model of phone and I've just been given one & would like to root it...
Thanks.
Did anyone get the ROM to boot up? I've been trying but all I get is a black screen

[Q] Can't Flash 4.4.2

I was trying to flash the new CM nightly 4.4 version. I updated my RUU to the one that was said in the thread. I started flashing it but it didn't work. I got a status 7 error on CWM, after i fixed the status 7 error i got a status 6 error. I tried TWRP recovery and i keep getting failed on there too. Any help?
Which version of TWRP are you using?
Sent from my Evita.
I'm having the same problem. With any 4.4 ROM I've tried flashing, it always fails.

[Q] CWM and Flashing KitKat... how do I get the correct version of CWM?

From what I understand you need CWM 6.0.4.3+ to flash a KitKat ROM. However, it appears on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 that the latest version is 6.0.2.3.
How are people flashing KitKat ROMs then? I must have been out of the loop for too long.

Thanks for the reply. I actually ended up stumbling across his signature last night. I've been meaning to switch over to TWRP for some time now and this was a good reason. I got the link from his signature (links below as well for anyone looking for the answer).
End result... I flashed the ROM and KitKat is amazing!
LINKS!
TWRP 2.6.3.3 & CWM / CWM based Recoverys P31XX and P51XX
CWM will get an update later or tomorrow to 6.0.4.7

Stock Nexus 7 2013 WiFi ROM KOT49H Android 4.4.2

Hi,
I'm using only stock rom, rooted and with xposed mods on my Nexus devices. Because of trying some things out, I want to have a stock rom update.zip from the latest Factory Image on my device to have the security to flash it back to stock without a computer.
So, I've managed with some help this update.zip. It's absolutely pure stock. Not rooted, not deodexed or anything else (to root, there is a link below)
I think, some of you are thinking the same and so I want to share this update zip. I hope you have fun with it.
It works with CWM and TWRP Recovery!

Status 7 is when your recovery is outdated and can't flash the current firmware (needs updated recovery).
Can you tell me which recovery are you using and its version?
