MS2 KitKat - Milestone 2 Android Development

Hi! I've just made some modification of EngleMars's KitKat ROM for Milestone 2. EngleMars ROM is much more stable then czechop (in my opinion), but lack of some very importatnt for me things. So I decided to start doing something with it myself.
What i've done:
Changed back model number from ME722 to A953
Removed from original Engles ROM (if you need them, you can just install them):
Autostarts
LogCollector
PinyinIME
Updated:
Superuser (su,reboot)
Keyboard AOSP (with gestures support) [from czechop's ROM]
Launcher3 (configuration working, for example disable QuickSearch box) [from czechop's ROM]
Here's the link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/btlj5dsxhmrvqat/Koote-CM11-v0.4.zip
Ps. I just made what i needed by playing with files from roms and very little modification. So don't blame me if you'll find any problems. It works for me, used it for some days.
Problems found so far:
1. When trying to remove icon from launcher, delete/uninstall icon doesn't appear on screen. You must just find place where to drop icon to do it, or do it other way (uninstalling by Settings/Apps).
I think, if you'll find any ideas how to solve problems, and you can do it, just tell me, i'll update the ROM. I have little time, so please don't except from me much.
Enjoy!

Thanks a lot!!!

[MIUI] Language pack - HTC EVO MIUI 1.7.15 Rom Spanish Updater - supersonic ** NEW **

Hello;
I am not sure if this the appropriate forum (mods. pls. forgive me if not!) but wanted to give credit to where credit belongs and also help the community users as I am sure they can benefit form this as I did.
First off huge thanks to StiffSpliff & MIUI US team; thank you sooo much for your wonderful work bringing us weekly the latest MIUI roms in US English. I am totally loving this.
So here It is;
This is a CWM-flashable zip.
**As always please make a nandroid backup first!! in case something does not work for you I am not resposible for anything and neither is the author of this updater pack. this is just being offered a service to latin speaking community. Also please make sure to clear Cache & Dalvik cache before installing this updater. ~ You could also install US MIUI rom and immediately apply this updater right after it back to back in one shot then just reboot without any problems. (I personally like to always do a second reboot after a new install just to make sure everything has settled in properly.)
* If you want your FM radio working properly!! First make sure you download and start off with this fixed version English Rom from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?9reghw09az6ec9i
this base rom has the corrected boot.img for the FM radio: (thanks to lithid for this discovery.)
This special HTC EVO MIUI 1.7.15 Spanish language pack installs right over current MIUI 1.7.15 Evo Release.
http://www.mediafire.com/?c2woh58cw16kwhu
Then go to System settings -> language input settings -> select language to switch back and forth between ENG/SPA.
it will convert the above rom in to bi-lingual English/Spanish 100% working perfectly and tested by me on a couple of different EVOs. this is not an official update of any sort but was created as a favor for me personally by the talented dev. Juan Carlos Vázquez. All credit goes to Juan Carlos (JCG) the developer over at MIUI Espana and please show him some love the via donation link in this post. I just figured I will put it out for your enjoyment and doing so with his permission. I am sure a ton of people like me have been waiting for something like this as in this moment to my knowledge there are no other Official or Unofficial published updaters available to get Spanish MIUI on to HTC EVO 4G.
The beauty of this updater is that absolutely everything is converted in Spanish. Even your Google maps/Navigation will start giving Spanish guidance all of a sudden and my favorite:
~ Genie Widget if you have it? that is Google's News and Weather gadget will pull news from Spanish sources and display news in Spanish.
(if you look around plenty of that .apk is posted everywhere)
This language pack will also give you all the new updated locksreens in Spanish.
Again: Full credit goes to the very kind dev. JCG for this fine work. I am just passing it on.
Let me know if this helped you & if you like this work pls. consider donating to the author.

After Install go to your location settings and edit the GPS setting to your current location to override the default european setup.
This way you can get a very quick gps lock; in US type any of the US pools for example: north-america.pool.ntp.org
BTW. there is a new GPS driver out you may have seen this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15760767&postcount=30
according to the poster:
**NEW** - Qualcomm Vision GPS Driver v1.1 (recommended) - Updated fix with latest Qualcomm driver, should be less buggy. Fast gps locks, very accurate, no wake locks, no 100% cpu.
even though I had decent gps lock on my EVO running MIUI 1.7.15 decided to try this and indeed gives me a faster GPS lock.
i flashed this over the latest miui 1.8.26 and it didnt seem to work spanish was not listed under languages is there any way to make it happen with the latest version of miui 1.8.26
As the title of the thread says: this is clearly for EVO MIUI 1.7.15 Rom and ONLY for version 1.7.15 MIUI. Both files needed (the English Rom and Spanish language pack) are linked in OP and are working. No point in flashing this language pack on to any other version of MIUI as it won't work. The LP includes all system .apks modified in to bi-lingual so by flashing this on to any other version you are basically replacing all your rom's applications with this version software. therefore your ROM & LP versions must match!
Unfortunately there are no later or newer updates of this kind available anymore as the dev. for this has stopped working on this project alltogether.
... on the other hand IMHO MIUI 1.7.15 (July 15th) really is one of the best and most stable and faster than all other recent MIUI updates for HTC EVO I have tested! In the later versions they have changed a lot including new browser which I personally don't like much and still to this day issues with forceclosing voice search and overall slowness/sluggish performance. ..so you won't be disappointed if you try it with v.1.7.15
Please follow install instructions above exactly for best results. tkx

Huawei U8860 Honor / Honour / Glory - Index

Welcome to the Huawei U8860 Honor / Honour / Glory - Index!
(please treat this thread as dev-thread, it is part of a dev-forum, not Q&A)
Please don't PM me for support, I will ignore those requests - they are just too many and I'm not getting paid for that, I'm not huawei support. Just ask your questions somewhere in the forum, but in my opinion this thread is really not the place for it, since this is a developer forum and not the Q&A section. That's why xda-developers adds restrictions to post here for new users - to prevent this to be a Q&A-Forum. Please Try to ask your questions in the appropriate Q&A-Section of the xda-developer Forum.
Different versions of the Huawei Honor
There are two feature differences that I am aware of:
Number of Touch-Points: 2 or 5; I have 2 touch-points and with B977 my ProjectMenu just printed "synaptic" as touchscreen version, with B919 it states "synaptics-TPK.6"
Position of Huawei Logo on the back: in the top-left corner (china / russia?) or in the middle like this: http://kaefert.is-a-geek.org/huawei_honor/IMG_7491_small.JPG
It seem's there are versions without a camera? at least user limzm states in his signature his U8860 doesn't have one.
Backup & Recovery
In my opinion the first and most important thing when playing around with different ROMs, is the ability to backup and restore the phones ROM & state.
For this you need a custom recovery (which you will also need to flash custom ROMs, so you might only skip this if you want to only flash stock ROMs)
If you're on an 2.3.6 ROM, then possibly for this to work, you first need to flash a different stock ROM. There have been reports that with 2.3.6 the method below may not work. Also some newer ROMs like B923 and above have locked boot loaders, the latest ICS ROM that you can use for this is B919
NEW: CWM 6.0.1.0 with touch-support: MOD EDIT: Link removed.
OLD: download recovery-u8860-en.img from here MOD EDIT: Link removed.
make sure there is no directory named "dload" on your micro-sd-card - if there is, rename or remove it.
Turn off Fast-Boot, and shutdown your phone. If you don't know how to turn off Fast-Boot, pull the battery (it can be found in different places in different ROMs)
Press and hold volume-up, volume-down and power-button at the same time.
You should now see your phones screen pink (="pink screen mode")
Now connect your phone with an USB cable to a computer
A few disks should be mounted, search for the one that has an "image" folder with an recovery.img and a boot.img inside it. rename the recovery.img to recovery-bak.img (or simular) and copy recovery-u8860-en.img there and rename it to recovery.img
WARNING: Don't use the file recovery_v8.img which is referenced in a few other guides. It crashes and leaves you with non bootable phone-states and/or with unfished backups which cannot be restored.
ROMs
Stock ROMs (& leaked stock ROMs)
Stock ROMs (or leaked stock ROMs) can be flashed like this:
Download and unpack onto your micro-SD Card like that: /mnt/sdcard/dload/UPDATE.APP (some ROMs also have UPDATE_CUST.APP, copy it to the same place. If you're update has a second dload_cust (or the like) folder, you need to flash it in a second round just as the first one, by renaming it to "dload")
Turn off Fast-Boot, and shutdown your phone. If you don't know how to turn off Fast-Boot, pull the battery (it can be found in different places in different ROMs)
Press and hold volume-up, volume-down and power-button at the same time.
If everything above was done correctly, you should be able to watch your phone upgrading now.
Alternative: Some ROMs have an option in the settings that lets you start the upgrade-procedure without step 2.) and 3.) from above. If you can find it, you can use that one.
You can find stock ROMs here:
International ROMs: http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/technicaIndex.do?method=gotoProductSupport&productId=3834&tb=1

(thanks to user det-happy for pointing it out to me)
The most important Stock-ROM in my eyes (as base for most custom ROMs there are) is B919, find it here:

NEW: Rooting method for stock ICS B919/B923/B924 (and perhaps others older ICS)

For people running linux on their computers, I've created an adapted version of this root tool:
kaefert.is-a-geek.org/huawei_honor/HuaweiHonorRootTool_LinuxVersion.7z
OLD: Theres a nice guide explaining how to root and flash+enable google-apps here: (but don't take the recovery from there but from above. explanation also above) - only use this if the new method above doesn't work for you.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22688341&postcount=53
Custom ROMs
To flash custom ROMs:
download their .zip file and put it somewhere on your sd-card
boot into your custom recovery: turn off phone completly, then Long press volume up + power button (for installation of custom recovery see top of this post)
factory reset / wipe everything (not always necessary, but to be on the save side. Some ROMs will not work in some cases if you don't wipe first, however the other way round is also possible, there are custom ROMs that will NOT work if you wipe, best look at the instructions from where you downloaded the custom ROM..)
flash update zip -> choose zip from sd card.

Android 4.x MIUI ROMs
WARNING: most MIUI-ROMs have SMS-confirmations turned on by default, which costs extra with many providers (like mine..) so check it before sending your first SMS and turn it off

Custom Kernels
I found a custom kernel that adds the option to overclock up to 2GHz. I'm used it running at 1.8GHz and it didn't seem to be any more unstable than before (I'm using the MIUI ROM which is a little bit instable all by itself already)
MOD EDIT: Link removed since you need to register to download the kernel, I also attached it MOD EDIT: Link removed to make it easier for you.
I also managed to build (and deploy) the 3.0.8 kernel sources provided by huawei myself, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23505650
With the help of the writer of rvoix I managed to adept our kernel in a way that rvoix works, but for the moment only mono so both parties mixed together in one channel (but recorded from the line, not only from the mic like most apps do). I attach the kernel that works with rvoix: View attachment boot_voc2.img.
Or for people wanting to build their kernels themselfs, here's the patch: http://code.google.com/p/rvoix/sour...pdragon/kernel/huawei_honor_u8860_rvoix.patch
UPDATE: Since our kernel sources don't work with B919 and later (non functional camera and wifi) I decided to go the other way round and modify the rvoix app to work with our kernel instead of adapting the kernel to work with the app. Here are the results: http://code.google.com/p/rvoix/downloads/detail?name=rvoix_mod_kaefert_v2.apk --> call recording that should work with all huawei honor 4.0.3 ROMs!
Various pointers
Adapting Chinese ROMs
Adding Google Apps (like the Market) --> Download zip from here http://goo-inside.me/gapps and flash it with recovery
Remove unwanted chinese system apps --> I do it with QtADB --> http://qtadb.wordpress.com/ But I guess you can also do it with some root app management apps
Change to languages that are not choosable in the standard language setting --> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.c_lis.ccl.morelocale
Reading chinese sites
People who don't use google chrome or the chromium project (yet) probably don't know, that it has a really nice built-in translating feature, thats very useful for finding your way arround all these chinese (or russian) websites, and much better then using translate.google.com (or other such services) manually with other browsers.
Miscellaneous
Silent Huawei camera (ICS)
I was annoyed one day by all the noises the huawei camera simulates. Therefore I investigated and found out how to make it silent.

Enabling logcat output on huawei phones

For custom ROMs, I got a link from paul, but I didn't try it:

UPDATE
Sorry guys, but there won't be any updates by me anymore. I've moved on to Sony Xperia Z. The notoriosly low memory problem finally did it. (And Ingress)
There's a newer list of custom ROMs here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45164331&postcount=3056
Hi guys.
I've just cleaned this thread and would like to remind everyone about some points, so that they're not repeated in the future, and explain all the missing links you may notice.
Warez is strictly forbidden on XDA. Please do not link to websites that provide it, or to ROMs that contain pirated apps.
Kernels are licensed under the GPL. This means that the kernel's source should be provided. If it is not, it's illegal and will be treated as warez as far as XDA is concerned. In simpler terms: if you're posting a link to a ROM that contains a kernel, or a kernel, make sure the kernel's source is available and link to it as well.
Recoveries that aren't based on stock and that use a zImage (which is covered by the GPL) must also be provided along with the source.
Links to competing or commercial websites are not allowed. Links to websites that require registration to access downloads are also not allowed (there are exceptions, please see rule #11 for more info.)
Credits must be given, and you must have permission to share the work. Assuming that you do: if this goes against the point above, you may mention the member/website without linking directly to his work. Point #2 still applies - a link to the kernel's source must be provided if necessary.
I realize this may have caused links to your favorite custom ROMs to be removed, and I apologize about that. Many of you clearly put a lot of effort into building, maintaining and helping with this index. However, all posts must respect the rules first and foremost.
Please PM me if you have any questions or if you need further clarification.
Thanks for understanding.
Hey thanks so much for helping with this. I followed your guides and managed to get my Honor rooted and on an ICS version. Thanks so much.

You're welcome. However, for the future, if theres nothing you want to say but to give thanks to someone for a post above yours, don't answer with a post of your own, but just use the "thanks" button. Thats what it was made for.
However if there are some questions or some obscurities in my post, feel free to ask.

Well, I've been using it for 2 days now. I wouldn't call it stable, it has some rough edges, sometimes some system app crashes (like in the beginning I had a problem with the SMS-app), and I've had 2 complete system crashes (forced reboot) while running oruxmaps for navigation & gps-logging with my byclicle.
Check with you, if i installed the custom recovery, and root, can i revert back to stock by flashing via the settings menu or the vol/power button combination and stock rom in load directory?

Well the settings menue doesn't contain the huawei upgrade option in every ROM (for example not in the MUIU ROM), but the volumn up+down while booting will probably work, I haven't tried though. The upgrade directory however has to be call "dload", not "load".
To revert back to a previous ROM I find it much better to use the nandroid backup and recover options that every recovery image I saw yet contains. However be careful, the recovery-v8.img posted on some other places is instable and crashes before the backup is finished. you won't be able to recover such an incomplete backup. Always check if you have some backup complete message, it should NOT reboot automatically after making a backup.

Well the MIUI ROM has much more configuration options, for example you have a statusbar settings page where you can choose between default battery icon, percentage number or the top pixel row in green. Or also the MIUI theme chooser is really nice.
Another useful thing is the permission manager thats included that (if you config it that way) asks you whenever an app tries to use a permission that its defined to require. for example if you have an app that has the permission to send sms then the permission manager will ask you the first time that the app really sends an sms if you want to allow or deny it, and also if you want to save your choice or if it should ask next time again.

Hmm. Well the only ideas I have:
1.) Theres a 2G+3G / 2G only switch, in the MIUI ROM I linked in my first post you can reach it like this:
Home Screen --> Settings --> More... (4th point under the heading Wireless & Networks) --> Mobile Networks --> Only 2G-Networks
If that switch is on, than obviously your phone won't connect to a 3G network
2.) Your not in range of a 3G network?
Apparently there is bootloop issue for the newly released MIUI ROM 2.3.23 over at MOD EDIT: Link removed.
My experience is that I got stuck at the splashscreen as well.
I have download another at MIUI main site : MOD EDIT: Link removed.
and it works OK. Some portions of the UI are with Chinese texts and a few Chinese apps but overall still OK.

The ROMs that I know of and that I've tried you find in the first post. I found the loader (=desktop) of the non-MIUI ROMs to be faster and snappier. (However, the MIUI is more feature-rich)
Okay thanks alot I think I'm gonna give MIUI a try. Downloaded the latest version from the MIUI website. Have you tried any CM Release?

[ROM]Lenovo A750 ICS 4.0.4 Port-4 Jul Updated

Hello everyone,
Please Download the new version perfect at post #3. Any feedback is appreciated.
I found a ICS 4.0.4 version in a Chinese forum "bbs.apkhot". The author is smilevvv. I did nothing but transfer the ROM to 4shared.
It's really good for some reasons:
1. Distinguish each SIM with the colors of signal not the background, I really hate the color of the background.
2. Icons return to the native ones.
3. Much more options in the "Developer Settings", such as background processes limit...
4. Better theme I think.
5. It is a muti-language version.
But it has some defects. Most serious one is Can Not switch the default storage SD : The default one is internal SD, but can not switch into external SD.
I tried several times to modify the vold.fstable, but still can not make it work properly.
So, would there be somebody like to challenge this bug?
Here is the link: 4shared
Before you flashing it, please edit the build.prop, the language default is Simplified Chinese.
Thank you !
Thanks. It's a very good rom.
New Version
Good news !
The bugs in the previous version had been fixed. It is almost perfect now.
Download Here
Before you flash it, you'd better edit the build.prop to change the default language.
And there are some apps at /system/vendor/operator/app/ , if you do not like them , please delete.
Declaration: I did nothing but transferred it to 4shared.
Thanks to smilevvv and apkhot.com
Enjoy it!
Tnx :good:
Thanks.great share!
It's possibile to have this rom with ICS stock app like Email, Calendar, keyboard, etc ? And Gapps

I worked for a whole week, to have a port the best one possible.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is working:
Everything
Bugs:
Typical CM 11 - KK
- I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards
TIPS
-GO CENTER SECURITY / PERMITS / ENABLE: PERMITS ROOT
-COUNCIL NOT IMPORT MIUI BACKUP SETTINGS PREVIOUS ROM
-PRESS HOME TO USE TASK KILLER (long press) - (with: a short, plain back to Home)
FOR THOSE WHO DOES NOT WORK HOME BUTTON:
I do not have items to those who have these problems:
- If the problem is on the device or C2105 c2104.
I say this, because until yesterday, I unlocked bootloader a C2105 (just purchased). I took the opportunity to install my rom.
I noticed some differences (positive): problems of lock screen after you start the device, almost absent. Screen colors more brilliant.
Problem at Home button: absent!
My wonder is still for sale!
So I think that in the course of production Sony has made hardware changes.
Otherwise if it works Home key to me, must work at all !!!
Only a test, a suggestion:
The only problem is similar, I have found on my Miui rom for Xperia J - and thus solved: Go to Settings / Buttons & keys / Home key / check None.
If you already have selected None. Try selecting "Show recent apps tray - Try also: "Close current app""
I do not know if you can 'work because we talk about different systems: Xperia J: 4.1.2 - Xperia L: 4.4.4
I repeat that it is only a proof that advice, because I should have your device in my hands to try to solve.
to guides on all the features of Miui Rom, - do research on: en.miui.com
INSTALLATION
- PRE-INSTALLATION
delete folder CrashDump - should be in ext sdcard (if you already had a CM11)
INSTALLATION
WIPE Dalvik CACHE - CACHE - SYSTEM - DATE
INSTALL MIUI ROM
INSTALL KERNEL: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/development/kernel-cyanogenmod-12-1-kernel-t3078301
REBOOT
options
GAPPS (FLASH WITH PHILZ TOUCH RECOVERY)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My tips for test:
personally, the first time, I made configuration
not taking off the screen, power off, enjoy
Made a small gift for those who want to uninstall MiCloud.
I created a zip which is attached .....
In addition to not having the annoying Micloud, you recover other 30MB of free memory !!!!!
(Warning, if you use this zip after also disables Market Miui)
Installation: go recovery / Install Zip / Reboot

I have not responded to your problems before with this rom (on Q & A)
Only because, as I have already written to the first post, I personally do not own the device Xperia L.
This morning, in fact, I begged my friend to bring his Xperia L with my rom.
I did some tests ....
As already said the device is: C2105 with unlocked bootloader.
Last night I did download the rom to have certainty that it is not corrupt .......
This morning:
made its wipe as the first post
also erased: the Android folder in internal sd
canceled: MIUI folder in internal sd
rom installed
reboot
okay.
To the appearance of Homescreen I open any app. then closed the screen with the button.
In some cases, now the screen or lookscreen, freezes for a known issue in the rom Base FXP (just install the rom fxp and understand what this problem is more evident)
this problem on my miui rom occurs only once a power.
Then nothing more without restart-.
But the more you use it and this problem is less invasive ....
I noticed then sometimes comes out screen (blue) - need to remove the battery = this you have to first start after installing rom, or when you change the system .... but very rare in common use. This is always linked to the problem of FXP with the closing / opening lookscreen.
I emphasize that the rom is published unchanged from my friend. Because in his xperia l had some changes made rom the day of publication of ROM-
So I wanted to check it before answering!
We return to the test: the rom I posted is even better. The problem of lokscreen not manifested at every reboot.
Problem notifications: I do not know what type of notifications you refer ..... but, for what is my experience of MIUI all work. I attach screenshots, made this morning, proof of what I'm saying .... make a video and post here seems a bit too ......
Home button: it worked perfectly from the first port of rom quieted device.
Short press: back to home.
Long press: active task killer / press button: free memory.
I take it for granted that those who have these problems, use a C2105 with unlocked bootloader and performed various wipe ..... as stated in the first post.
The only thing I think that NOT all countries in the hardware for this device is the same ..... otherwise must work to all!
To my knowledge, the only difference and consequent problem you can have with the sim card, which in some countries (East) may create problems on part of the phone hardware: according to my theory does not recognize the identification codes of the service provider of the SIM card .. .. but nothing related to your problem!
Screenshots Test today
Notification:
yesterday during phone call -
lokscreen:
task killer
all this, proof of my good faith.
If I had these problems, I would not have published.

As I already wrote in the first post: all the work for this rom (which I assure you was very challenging) as well as being modified in multilang, were added to it graphical changes (themed v6) all this:
decompile, then modifying and recompiling every file provided for reference.
The solution is easier to create a new rom!
What difference does it have from the rom i have already ported?
and which device did you port it from?

the obvious differences:
rom multilang (it seems to me that this is not your own)
Themi v 6 compiled in the respective files
new base (next to your publication)
etc ....
and more I think, just download the rom and see.
Also seeing the official changelog miui (which I have not examined, but I think it's an exact port)
Also reading your thread (closed) I read about bugs that my rom does not seem to have: led, USB Tethering
for port I used: Xperia Arc miui 4:11:14 (no multilang)
Also if you look at my other works on miui rom, see that you are the original port - do not copy / paste !!!!

those bugs were solved and the rom was shifted to the official miui site

but since you using some other device no issues
and thread was closed because of the mi market apk
i advice you to remove it if you haven't or they will lock this thread too

Do not interest me your bug.
Not interesting to me because your thread is closed!
About bugs in your rom, I just read what you wrote here on XDA, and reported to demonstrate the different port.
- I do not understand your question?
- Remove what?
I used a base rom different from yours
even if you have not mentioned your port miui version, it seems to me is the vers.4.10.10, previous to my 4:11:14, more MultiLang in order to better be used by users.
If you go on the thread for XPERIA J, you can find them, my rom miui.
Previous to my version, there is no other rom developer: @lozohcum (published in the previous date, and the previous version of my rom). If you read the thread you see that he only asked for the port. ....
Then only his availability 'that are still grateful!
Here on Xda, I think it promotes development.
Having given you also the port from which I created this my rom, I do not understand your question!
Should be stop the development of a device, just because you have published a different rom, - previous to my rom?
I've given you all the information.
I believe absolutely did not damage your work !
With this I close this trivial discussion with you. I am only interested to develop and donate my work here on XDA.

YOU HAVE ANTICIPATED ME !!
- for V6 is my goal on all devices that I have ......
- Remember that the xperia is not in my possession.
On loan from a friend for a few days ..... just right to create this new port.
I almost finished the port Miui v5 4.12.5 !!!!
- Seems well beyond those official MIUI for other device (not Xiaomi)
I hope to do something pleasing to you
It seems more stable, but less invasive themed V6 + some brushstrokes in IOS 8
-created new port
- Seems solved problem screen freeze on start terminal (bug CM11)
and more ...
Please do not ask ETA

Hey developer...i m big fan of miui base rom...
But plzzz make ur updated rom available on other files hosting web else mediafire...bcoz mediafire gives lot of troubles for downloading...
So, its my request to u, nw uploaded next version of ur rom on AFH, dev host...etc etc...web hosting services...
Thanks...keep it up...
Hello everyone.
Tonight public Miui5 new release 4.12.5!
For me it was a big bet this release! obtain a release for Xperia L, following the official, last 4.11.28!
First of all a big thank you to my friend "Era"
owner of Xl, without him none of this could be accomplished ....
For the home button:
The only imported file from my rom 4.11.14 is on the status bar. The reason for that is the only one that was changed with option CENTER CLOCK - and it is precisely for this change that definitely does not work the Torch stock ....
But I think it's an option expendable, but by obtaining the Center Clock style IOS!
it is obvious that people who have had the problem of the home button, I think these will have the same problem with this release.
As I said, I should have a XL with this problem and figure out how to solve ....
PROBLEM TO FREEZE SCREEN BUG CM11:
during construction of the system ROM (English and Chinese) I did not have any problem of freeze screen after startup.
I noticed later, when I started to translate individual apk, put into the system, that started this problem.
I tried to translate every single file in a widespread manner, without any error, according to its resolution.
but most went along with most translations this problem manifested itself.
I think there are more causes and appears with the use corrupts the system: WITH MEMORY EFFECT OF CRASH!
In fact, in tests, putting stress on the system, this problem became persistent.
By placing all the wipe, and reinstalling the rom problem persisted with the same gravity of the first release.
I have now tried a new system for me to rebuild the system.
I then tried, to format the SD card inside. delete eventual folder CrashDump.
rebuild the rom with its signed: I noticed that the ROM STABLE RETURNS !!!!
Having returned 3 days ago XL to its owner, the impressions were:
faster, stable, fluid.
All precautions implemented, this problem now seems more latent!
