hi, i have a sk17i which runs legacyxperia cm11 unofficial. the problem is that the phone do not show 2g signal nor calls can be made. but 3g and wifi works well. i have tried with so many network poviders with different sim cards.but it results the same. also i reflashed it to gingerbread using flashtool. although the problem remained the same. using *#*#4363#*#* did not worked as well. but 2g signal strength can be seen on the menu. although signal bars are completely empty.
in the past 2g & 3g worked well. but now it has suddenly appeared. please help me

I really have problem with the g1 network coverage. I am in india and the operator I use is a good one. I get only 2 bars on my phone whereas it is full bars on my another sony ericcsson phone. Out of 100 calls there are 90 call drops. It is like a nightmare for me. Every time I lose network coverage and have to go to operator selection in setting. There I clearly see the network. G1 does'nt connext to network automatically. I have tried everything from reflashing to a wipe. Tried other operator too. No luck. Anybody experiencing same problem? Anybody knowing any solution to the problem. Really bad for me. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are the Group of 5 People Owing G1 in Nashik, Maharashtra and almost all operators are running without any Problem in 2G Network.
Airtel, Idea, Reliance GSM and BSNL works flawlessly
I'm experiencing radio dropouts quite frequently. My signal will go from almost full strength to lost signal, and then a few minutes later the signal will return again.
This does not seem to be ROM dependent, as have used several to see if the situation improves, which it does not. Currently using Reaper 3.
I'm on Vodafone UK and was wandering if anyone else has come accross the same issue, or alternatively if you are on Vodafone UK and don't have the issue, then which radio are you using ?

Same in Slovakia with O2 network. Sometimes H to 3g to E to dropout and signal returns after while.

under settings switch to 2g only, i suppose ur area has but weak 3g signal.
at home i switch to only 2g as my area has but weak 3g, making my signal on and off.
Recently I noticed that my phone is dropping internet connection quite frequently. I started to observe it more closely and saw that whenever I am connected (displays LTE on top bar) it disappears after 2-3 seconds. Reappear and then disappear.
I started browsing internet and noticed this connectivity. I thought my data roaming was off ... I enabled it and still the same issue .
Then I checked my preferred connectivity. Like earlier where phones used yo have 2G/3G option. Nexus has only either 2G or 3G , there is no both or 3G/LTE. Anyways, so I selected 3G and since then the internet I'd working fine but I mostly connected to 3G/HSPA+ now rather LTE.
Is this an issue ?
P.S: I am on Fido network and my area is in LTE coverage map.

Hello! My OPO had issues with OTA updates (25R specifically) and 3G. I clean installed 38R with no issues, everything went well however the 3G is down or works for a brief moment and then loses connectivity. Neither 2G nor 3G works. I live in Greece (if it helps more about understanding the network problem).
Any help appreciated!
From a few months only 2g is working in my mi4i. I already tried installing custom roms and fastbooting stock rom. But when I set to 4g only or 3g only or 4g/3g I don't get any signal. Tried different sims. All has same problem. When I set network to any option with 2g network 2g alone works. What to do? Is there any solution?
