Some days ago a great app was removed from Play Store so I have backed up the best contacts photo updater for me
WhatsApp Contact Photo Sync v1.1.6

Hope you enjoy it !!!
Thanks, I was just searching for that app. Just wondering, anyone knows why was removed?

I have 2 issues with the pre-installed apps:
A- People app does not display Facebook contacts
In the people app under "Contacts to display" I have selected All Contacts, which include Google, G+, Facebook and Linkedin.
I have also made sure that under Settings - Accounts - Facebook, the check box for sync contacts is marked.
I have cleared data for the People and Facebook apps and restarted but that didn't help.
How to get this to work?
B- Gallery app displays some empty Picasa folders
These folders are displayed only with a date, the Picasa logo and the number 0 (as in zero pictures in this album).
I've cheked my Picasa Web Albums and my G+ albums, and I do not have any empty folders, but the Gallery keeps showing them.
Again, I've cleared the app data and restarted - same result.
I know I can easily replace these apps and disable them, but I was hoping to keep the stock ones.
I'd really appreciate some help or suggestions.
Thanks to all in advance.
Regarding People app
After comparing both tablet and phone version of Facebook I've realized that contact synchronization is not available in the tablet version. It's just not available in the Facebook app options!
Gave up on this one
Regarding Gallery app
I spent some time looking for alternative gallery applications that are able to synchronize Facebook and Google Plus pictures as well as play videos. And that's really all I need nothing more. And I failed. I could not find 1 single application that could do that. Sad.
SO, does anyone know of such an application???
If not, does anyone know how to get rid of the empty non existent Picasa folders?

I use sync.me from the play store..
I used to use uber sync... works too.. sync.me seems to do a better job.
Ever since the Google+ app update yesterday with the new UI and interface my dialer app and people app on Nexus 5 don't show my Google+ contacts photos anymore. It's only showing the photos I have added to specific contacts in my Gmail contacts on the PC, otherwise the contacts show up as the generic silhouette. Anyone else have this issue? Did they change the setting in Google+? I am not seeing what they changed it to.
Thanks
This has happened with my S3, S4, S5, and now S6
I have to Link my Google contacts one-by-one to their FB profiles, so that I have their FB photos as their contact photos.
If my FB account gets signed out, I have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!!
Can someone tell me how to link them for good!?
Or how to make their FB photos the contact photos in my Google contacts?
Thank you!

Hello all,
I have been trying to use google photos from the messages app, and it just keeps showing a spinning circle and never shows my google photo's. I thought it would be awesome to attach my photos from my google photos without having to save to the device. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks
Well Google photos will work but only from the Google messages app (not the stock OnePlus app) so I just made that the default SMS app.
