hi guys. idk if im in the right section but ill ask . this week im going to buy tablet. for my bugget i found 2 tablets equally same .
1gb ddr3 ram
arm cortex a9 dual core cpu 1.5
mali 400-mp (dual core)
jelly bean
the diference is between their screen size
the 1st is 7 inch 1024x600
the 2nd is 8 inch 1024x768
my quiestion is which tablet/resolution will support more games ; or will any ?
ty in advance
sry for bad eng. :d
I recently bought a smartphone. Its 'GFive G9'. It is also rebranded in some places as 'Cherry Mobile Blaze 2.0'. I was wondering if there was any custom roms like miui, cyanogenmod etc.?
The specifications are as follows:
Processor: 1209 mhz Quad core armv7 processor (rev 2 v7l)
Screen: 5.7 inch ips capacitive touch screen, resolution is 720 x 1280
Hardware(according to AnTuTu CPU Master): MT6589
P.S. If you require any more details or anything related to this phone just reply on the thread :good:
EDIT 2: I found a miui transplant for the phone. Usable as a base maybe? (not able to post links so if you need in just pm me)
What is difference between MTK6572 and MTK6577? And who is better?
MTK6577 best
are you sure?
are you sure that MTK6577 is the best?
The MTK6572 chip is newer, and based on A7 (more efficient with battery).
I think, may be 6572 is a good choice over 6577...
6577 have 3G. But 6572 dont.
overall 6577 is betten then 6572:good:
wikipedia
both support wcdma
6572 HSDPA+ while 6577 HSDPA
MT6577:

MT6572:
pdadb dot net/index.php?m=cpu&id=a6572&c=mediatek_mt6572
antutu score for MT6577 around 7000, MT6572 around 9000 (search youtube)
MT6572 is newer and faster (accordint to antutu)
(I'm not allowed to post links)

Antutu scores means nothing, thats just bench, dont trust on those benchs.
Straight answer, go with MT6577 SoC
http: system-on-a-chip dot findthedata dot org/compare/167-170/MediaTek-MT6577-vs-MediaTek-MT6572
6572 is better
6572 is Best in its class. Go for it!!
Using 6577 device since 2 years, no lagging /hanging at all… but don't know about 6572…
the best
6577
over in cortex a9 but
6572
over in gpu 400 is best than sgx531
over in nano tech 28 vs 40
final
6572 best in power reqirment and graphic
Of course 6577 is better
Guys Mt 6572 is best. Clock speed of Mt 6572 is 1.2 GHZ but Mt 6577 is 1GHZ and gpu Mali 400 is more powerful than sgx 531
Mt 6572 beats Mt 6577 in every aspect so it is the best

I'm sorry but you are wrong. The 6572 is a low-cost version of the 6577 and is seriously crippled. Some of the limitations are :
1. Max 512mb ram
2. Max resolution 540x960
3. Max resolution 720p
4. Max camera resolution 5mp
6572 is ment for low-cost devices.

ok then what about RAM of mt6577? it is also 512MB RAM
when you compare cpu clock speed MT6572 is 1.2 GHZ while MT-6577 is 1GHZ also MT-6572 has mali 400 gpu which is far better than sgx544
one advantage in MT-6577 is it can record 1080P video but MT-6572 cannot. overall MT-6572 is best

You are looking at some wrong specs link it has only 512MB RAM see here and it clearly shows with benchmarks, see the model number and ram in atuntu screenshot

Found these cheap android tablets. They seem like pretty good compared to their price. But different devices are confusing me. They are many almost same devices but with a little different hardware and still they are named the same. I'm about to buy an iRulu 10.1 tablet. I'm not sure if there are 2 or 3 different versions of it.
iRulu's site was laggy but these charts are the same what I found on their site:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/iRulu-10-1-...90625890613?pt=US_Tablets&hash=item5af31e1135
http://www.ebay.com/itm/iRulu-10-1-...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item7b74f03c58
The first one: CPU Processor: "Rockchip RK2928 Cortex-A9 1.5GHz; Mail-400 Quad Core"
And the second one: "CPU Processor: Allwinner A20 1.5GHz; Mail-400 Quad Core"
What's the difference? Which could be better?
This one doesn't tell about 1.5ghz: http://www.ebay.com/itm/iRulu-10-1-...50886874301?pt=US_Tablets&hash=item51b27cccbd
"Allwinner A20 ARM Cortex-A7 Dual-Core; ARM® Mali400MP2"
According to many other sources, clock speed of that allwinner A20 cortex-A7 is only 1ghz or 1.2ghz. What are those Allwinner A20 1.5ghz processors then?
Moreover, I have seen iRulu 10.1 tablets with resistive screens that are not good. I also found very large amount of 10.1 tablets with some kind of allwinner 1.5ghz processor and seemingly same body. MAny of them don't even tell name or brand. I will be most likely buying the first or second one, but first I'd like to know about the processor differences. Only thing I know about android processors are the clock speed and number of cores.
Just realized that Rockchip RK2928 Cortex-A9 1.5GHz is not dual-core. Also, with further investigation, I became even more convinced that the Allwinner A20 dual-core 1.5ghz doesn't exist. Many are still selling that. Not sure if it's 1ghz or 1.2ghz.
Again found new models:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/iRulu-10-1-...90630383490?pt=US_Tablets&hash=item5af3629f82
"Allwinner A10 1.5GHz Mali-400" (single-core, but is it better or worse than RockChip?)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/iRulu-10-1-...90691725632?pt=US_Tablets&hash=item5af70aa140
"iMAPx15 ARM Cortex A5 Dual core 1.2GHz" (this vs Allwinned A20 Cortex A7?)
1.5ghz single-core or 1.2ghz dual-core, which is better? 1ghz dual-core?
This is really confusing.
EDIT: http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/44034-atm7029-an-arm-cortex-a9-or-a5/page__st__40 + many other sources seem like telling Allwinner processors are not as good as advertised. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockchip Wikipedia says that that RK2928 would be single-core 1 to 1.2ghz. Odd

Stick with name brand. I got an infotmic imapx15 noria 7" for Christmas. The most I was able to do was root it. I just found flashing software from the manufacturer for it after searching for 3 months. Trust me, the Mali-400 GPU isn't that great as far as I'm concerned. Mine is also a dual core 1.2GHz and is still quite slow compared to my Galaxy S3. Just my .002
