Let me close this thread:
Install ES File Explorer and let your friends install it too.
Once installed, navigate to apps manager inside ES File Explorer
Get all your friends onto the same wifi connection (this is only for easiness sake)
Select the apps you want to send
Click "send" in overflow menu (where it says more)
friends must have ES open to receive via "send" method, otherwise use wifi-direct or bluetooth
Profit

[Q] Deleted wrong file & titanium back up issue

I have an Alcatel OT 918A (gingerbread 2.3.6, kernel version 2.6.35.7) that I just rooted, but unfortunately while trying to remove bloatware I accidentally deleted the live wallpaper launcher & now I can't open the live wallpaper gallery. help anyone?
Also in trying to remove the bloatware from the phone I keep gettin the message "cannot remove system app. failed to locate the apk file." Is there anyway to get around this?
search google for the name of the app you deleted (eg. livewallpaper.apk or whatever it was called)
and use root explorer/root browser lite or any other root file manager, go to system/app, mount as r/w (in top right corner) and long press the app you wish to delete

Question About System Restore

Is there anyway to keep specific apps after a system restore, you know... Without having to redownload all of them? Or maybe save a app pack on the Google pay store so I can redownload them all in one file.

Titanium Backup or Astro File manager
Well, if you are rooted I would suggest using an app like Titanium Backup. But, otherwise you can use Astro File manager to rip apks for backup individually.

I'm using teracopy with MD5 check. So missing/deleting any data is most probably not the problem..
Any advice on how to extract useful data from this non-working backup?
Can I skip the data check during restore process? And is data an important part in backup?

No You Can't
You Should Now Try To Make Backup With CWM Or TWRP Or With ROM Manager Premium

Easy solution that worked for me is :
create a new text document [ empty file ] and replace its extension , txt --> .md5 it will look like : nandroid.md5 .
now replace the file or paste it inside clock work backup folder .... not it should work properly !
press thank button if it helped !

Is it possible to create an apk from an app which includes the data/data/app directory from an backup?
I want to backup an app including data (on a rooted device) and i want to restore this app on a non-rooted device.
Accessing data/data without root is not possible. Can i include the data/data/app files in the existing apk so this data is installed when installing an app? I've got apktool and can recompile an app.

How to retain a paid copy offf amy app

Hi guys
I so not promote piracy or sharing a paid version of app in free.
This guide is for those who have actually bought tha app and now they have changed their device.
So download es file manager and swipe from left edge. There you will find many options tap on library and a dropdown menu opens up. In that menu you tap on apps and the user appa will own up
Long press on paod apps amd then click on backup.
The backup apps will be stored on the internal sd card in a folder named backup.
NOW WE HAVE THE APP BUT WHAT ABOUT THE DATA AMD SETTINGS OF THE APPS
dont worry i have a solution for that also.
Download titanium backup and busybox.
Imstall both of then amd open busybox amd click on smart install and close it
Open titanium backup and on the top tiles click on backup tile.
Apps will open. Now select thae app which you backuped using es file manager and in the menu opened.in front of you click on backup.
The apps data and settingd will.be stored in a titanium backup folder.
NOW WE HAVE APK.DATA.SETTINGS OF PAID APPS
copy the backup and titamium backup folder on the new device and imstall all es file explorer, busy box, titanium backup.
Setup.busybox as before and imstall the apks from backup folder.
After installing the apk open titanium backup amd goto backup amd click on same app amd click on restore.
After doimg this for all apps you have a full paid app from your previous device to new device.
With all data and settimgs lile before.
This is a guide for those alteady having paid apps.
Do mot use this for piracy.
Peace
i can do any thing except damaging your device. GOD DOES NOT DO THAT

Why use es file Explorer? Titanium backup can do all the backing up.... Paid and free apps, and data in one step. Then transfer the backup folder to a cloud server or pc..... Done.
:good:

Because that would be too easy. I've used Titanium Backup for years and it works great. No need for another app.
If he just said back it up using TiBu there would be no guide for him to make
