I was looking for a way to create an ongoing notification from a standard one. I have a Google Keep reminder in my status bar that I wish to keep there so I can't clear it away. I'm rooted and very comfortable with modding.
I appreciate any and all help!

Hi
I would like to permanentely hide the new email message icon in the Today notification bar.
The reason is that I am tracking messages using the Samsung widget (with counters). In addition, I might read/delete the email from a PC/Outlook and the notification icon is just not up-to-date anymore and does not disappear automatically in that case. So I do not need it and would like to always having it hidden. Any registry setting available for this. Did not found it until now.
Thanks for support!
Help please...
I want to change my notification bar to look like the Gingerbread one.
I haven't been able to find a thread to help me with this. I am hoping someone can show me the way.
I may ask for some help regarding the following problem:
- Description:
If you pull down the status bar/ notification thing you see the actual time and date on the left side.
If you tap on the date the calendar app will open.
If you tap on the time the app deskclock.apk will start.
This is true if the calendar or deskclock apps are installed. Otherwise you get a FC of the system ui.
- What I would like to have:
I would like to choose which application will pop up in case you tap on time or date in the notification area.
Since I'm no developer at all, I beg for someone with more knowledge to find a way to implement that, tweak the system UI or write a script to make that behavior possible. Thank you!
Regards
Klaus
Hey guys,
I have some mod ideas that would be really nice.
1) A menu button remap that by longpressing it, a screenshot would be taken
2)Adding a few shortcuts to the very top of the pull down menu. By very top I mean the area where the time and date are. For example how when you press the date it takes you to the calendar, being able to add custom shortcuts to the same area would be nice.
If this question is confusing, let me know and I can give some screenshots of where I'm talking about.
3)This one only applies to 4.2 roms. Add custom tiles to the quicksetting screen. For example; when I pull down the notification bar it only opens to quicksettings when there are no notifications. Is there a way to add a notification tile to the screen that once clicked, it then opens up all the notifications.
These are just some thoughts I had while messing around with Carbon ROM last night. These mods might be completely absurd, or other people might like them too. I'm just spitballing some ideas.
Thank you devs for all your awesomely hard work on cool new tweaks!
hi friends,
anyone can help me figure out how to change the position of the heads up notification? I would like to move it to the top of the status bar, which would look better. I could not find any related settings / info in SystemUI.apk after decompilation.
Much appreciated for your help!
P.S. I don't want to use Xposed framework.
Anyone can help?
