Need help getting in to fastboot - Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE

Hi!
I unlocked my phone - but when i type in the command "adb reboot bootloader"
it goes in to fastboot for a second, and then I get "bootloader unlocked" warning and after that it boots in to android.
How can I stop at fastboot to flash a custom recovery ?
Cheers!
EDIT:
NVM fixed

I am sure it was the right way.
How did you get it fixed?

I turned it off completely and after that, it accepted the command and stayed in fastboot.

Good to know, thanks for the information.

Unable to re-lock nexus-s through fastboot

i'm in the process of re-locking my bootloader in order to send it to Samsung for repair (home button not working). when i run the command line "fastboot oem lock", it just keeps hanging at "waiting on device" and nothing happens. i have the correct drivers installed. when i run "adb devices", it shows up the device. however, when i run "fastboot devices", it does not show up anything. any help on relocking my bootloader would be appreciated. Thanks!
Probably shouldn't be answering this here buuuuut...
adb reboot bootloader
and THEN
fastboot oem lock.
See what happens. You have to be in boot loader mode. Please move your questions to the Q&A section sir.
i did enter that command in order to get into fastboot. after that , i ran the command "fastboot oem lock" but it gets stuck at "waiting on device"
Update your drivers
Yea at this point I'd say its a connectivity problem. Drivers and or cable, but since you are getting adb devices to recognize, its not your cable. You should really use ubuntu, you would save yourself a lot of time, because you don't really have to deal with drivers like windows.
'sudo fastboot oem lock'
You need to be super user.
sure you went into bootloader and not recovery? because adb is seen in recovery and doesnt work in bootloader!

[Q] Unrecoverable bootloader error - Bootloader locked

Hi,
I would like to know if there is anyone who knows how to unlock the bootloader on a TF300T with the Unrecoverable bootloader error. I have access to fastboot, yet the "fastboot oem unlock" command doesn't unlock the device.
The entire device is wiped due to following another tutorial for fastboot to recover from the bootloop error, so there is no more way to enter recovery or cold start android... the device has two options, fastboot mode, or being stuck at the asus logo untill the battery runs out. Adb doesn't recognise the device, even with windows drivers installed.
I can't flash anything with fastboot as the bootloader is locked.
Is there a way to unlock the bootloader, or is it gonna cost me repairs?
Grtz

Can't unlock bootloader - boot to OS

Ehy guys im having some trouble with my OPO.
First of all i can't boot to the OS, it just stuck in bootloop, and recovery is not accessible, but i can use fastboot.

Re-lock bootloader ?

Hello all
I was wondering if anyone has successfully managed to re-lock a bootloader (on a stock ROM) ?
I got an A51 that I kept as a backup but decided to give it to my aunt instead.
But I'd like to get rid of the the pesky message at boot saying "your bootloader is unlocked, dangerous, blah blah" before I give it to her.
I've flashed the latest stock ROM but it doesn't get rid of that message...
So if anyone has an idea, I'd appreciate it
Try it
adb reboot-bootloader
fastboot flashing lock
or
adb reboot-fastboot
fastboot flashing lock

How to Relock Bootloader Galaxy A51
Hi, for those of you who have already unlocked the boot loader before, and if one day you change your mind to lock the bootloader again, here's how (remember, This will wipe your data again!) - Shut down your device. - attach the data cable to...
forum.xda-developers.com
Yeah, I tried that already ("fastboot oem factory-lock" for example, as well as some others), but each fastboot command just yields a "< waiting for any device >" message and nothing happens...
And when I try "adb reboot bootloader", the phone reboots in the fastboot mode, but all I get is a message "entering fastboot mode" (or something similar, I can't recall exactly).
Also, when I try sending some adb commands I often get a message saying "
error: device unauthorized.
This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set
Try 'adb kill-server' if that seems wrong.
Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device."

Question It does not start after unlocking the bootloader and the inscription orange state appears

Tell me how to remove orange state after unlocking the bootloader? there is also a problem, the body does not enter the fastboot, when trying to log in, it writes: the serial is not match fastboot unlock verify fail and after a few seconds the inscription orange state. the phone does not start and does not enter fastboot. it is included only in the recovery. I tried to flash through recovery writes that the version is lower than the updated one. what to do about it?
Orange state warning is quite normal after unlocking bootloader. Fastboot won't work, instead you can use fastbootd. Just use adb and type "adb reboot fastboot"
