Hello
I'm now trying to customise my own Eclair rom and I want it support ext2/ext4 file system. I've searched in dev section, there are some guys make Eclair kernel with those file system support but long time ago. Now the kernel file in download links were gone.
If somebody has this kernel, could you please post that file for me?
Thanks.
p.s.
I've tried to develop the kernel by following Dharam's tutorial form this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1186409
I extracted initramfs from I5801DXJG5's zImage (Official 2.1 for Thailand) , and download sources from samsung. But my kernel did't work. It stuck at I5801 logo. No idea how to resolve the problem??
here is the link
this kernel will support ext2/ext4 on ecliar

Do you want this for HTC one e8 or some other phone ??
Coz HTC one e8 supports this natively
init.rc is present in the ramdisk of the kernel i.e. a working boot.img
You can extract your boot.img using this Android Image Kitchen
