Cheap USB OTG device - Galaxy S 5 Accessories

Figured as the S5 is new and the Galaxy range has been OTG compatible, this might be of some use to somebody. As mentioned in the glass protector thread, I've used a couple of these from the seller (on my G2 . . . Don't tell anyone I am here in this forum checking out the S5 progress in time for my next upgrade ha ha) and they do the job as expected. I bought a Meenova before these too (which is still a cool device it must be said), but these were much cheaper than importing a Meenova to the UK was.
Has a basic option -

And a fancier option with USB, Micro USB, SD slot on one device -

Ameo for £230? Or best offer?

Hi all,
JUst looking at moving over to a smaller device for a while. I have another Ameo coming soon and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing my current model.
Its got some small scratches on the front (not the screen) where the keyboard has rubbed the paint away, 1 on the left above the keyboard and 2 on the right, one above the front facing camera and 1 under the vueflow button (usual) and the charger died yesterday so I have been charging VIA USB.
Apart from that it is a:
T-mobile Ameo. CID unlocked running AP4.00.
It has Igo and TomTom on it both with Euro maps.....the errrr unregistered versions....
I got most of the bits that came in the box apart from the charger.
Comes with the 4-1 Cable for USB host TV out etc.
A TINY little USB hub for it and a mini Trust Wireless mouse.
A 512 Mini SD card
Headset
Spare Stylus
That little Bag thingy (which I found very usefull)
and I still the have t-mobile box with all the bits and docs
PM me if there is interest.
I would accept trade in if anyone has a decent laptop for sale. (I would pay up to a few hundred more for a trade up to a decent Core2 Duo or T64 with dedicated Nvidia or Ati graphics......)

Cheap USB-Host adapter surfaced!

Hi! If you have a GT7+ you might be very interested in the Samsung accessory which turns your Multiport into a USB host port for ~20€ in europe and I think also around 20$ in the US.
Now I got myself this cheap china clone:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/150818531662...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_4928wt_1163
It costs 1,23€ including international shipping, and you should expect up to 5 weeks of shipping time (took only around 2 days for me though)
It works just as fineas the original one (I didnt try the original, but I had no problems with this one either)
Build quality seems sufficient, it's not bad but the around 20x more expensive original is probably better.
One last thing to notice is that this one has a cable (look at the pics on ebay) while the original one forces you to stick you flash drive etc directly into the device. While the cable might be a bit less stable, its certainly nice to not have a huge usb device stick out on one side.
On a side note: Though it says it's only for 8.9 and 10.1 it works just fine with my 7.0+
i got this last february from dealextreme.. http://dx.com/p/otg-adapter-cable-for-samsung-galaxy-tab-p7500-p7510-p7300-p7310-black-10cm-109037 works great with my p6200...
For those live in Singapore, If you dont want to wait for the shipment, get one at s$6.90 at Chellenger, work just fine
I got one off of eBay for $0.99 (search for Galaxy Tab USB host). Works perfectly. For HDMI the only option I found is the official adapter, though.

Best SIM Card Adapter That WON'T Get Stuck?

Hey guys, I'm looking for the best SIM card adapter that won't actually get stuck in ANY phone. Just about everyone of them I've seen gets stuck, and the one I have now got stuck in my Xperia Play.
I wanted to know if such an item exist? I don't care how much I have to pay, as long as it's a quality item.

I too have experienced this issue as all the adapters I purhcased online to use with devices in the past that needed an adapter either didn't fit or got stuck in the device. The irony is that the best fitting SIM adapters are the ones you get when you buy a new SIM card. Try buying a PAYG SIM with that is a micro SIM and they usually come fitted in a small adapter with a bit of sticky tape holding them in. Carefully pop the SIM out and put yours in and it should work better as they are the same thickness as the original SIM card.

Hello, Question Regarding USB to MicroSD Adapters!

Hello!
I have an LG G4 which has developed a fault with screen burn-in and so it's being sent back to LG for repair sometime over the next week. I am expecting to be without the phone for around anywhere up to a month, but in the meantime i have a 2013 Moto G 1st Gen that i can use, which is actually a pretty sweet phone when running CM13. The only problem is that the internal storage in the Moto G is only 16GB, and it doesn't have a card slot to put my SanDisk Ultra 128GB microSD.
I investigated the Meenova but it would be a little expensive for me to buy and have it shipped over to the UK, my calculations bring the amount to $15 which equates to approximately £11, which is a bit steep for something i will only use for a month at most. And besides that, the website states that postage from Hong Kong could take more than a few weeks or even a month!
Thankfully, i have come up with another idea. I have a microscopic adapter at home which converts USB to Micro USB. It does essentially the same job as a USB OTG cable but it's incredibly small and genuinely cannot be seen once it is fitted between two devices. So i thought that i could use this adapter to convert the Moto G's Micro USB socket to USB, and then have a USB to microSD adapter plugged into that to add support for my 128GB microSD card.
I am looking at two different cheap ones on eBay at the moment which are here and here. I'm all set for buying one of them but my question is, will either of those work with a card as large as 128GB (microSDXC) such as mine? I'm a little doubtful as to whether these will only support lower capacity cards which are 32GB (microSDHC) and below, but don't see why not because it's only a simple adapter, nothing more.
What do you guys think, would these cheap adapters support microSDXC cards with capacities such as 64GB and 128GB? Any insight on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
