here is the apk for the LeBrone James app exclusive for Samsung Galaxy devices all you need to do is put it in the folder system/priv-app to work with correct permissions and reboot it won't install as a regular apk you need to this manually
this might work for other devices also but I haven't tested since I only own this device

Downloaded and moved the app to system/priv-app and reboot and it still would not let me install the app? What do the permissions need to be set at? Currently mine are rw-rw-

Could somebody download the NatWest banking app which is free from the market and post it here. I had it on stock rooted 2.3.4 but it is not available to download on my stock rooted 2.3.5 and i have tried all the fixes that i can find.
Sorry about the laziness but i dont fancy reinstalling twice just to get one app when one of you kind people could help!
Any help would be much appreciated.

Well thanks for looking into it but i'm using your rom so your not the person to help!! I assume it's a 2.3.5 compatability issue with the market as it doesn't officially exist for the sensation.
I downloaded it on my wife's DHD but the file in system/app was a zip file which i changes to apk but it wouldn't install. On further inspection, i noticed that the file was ~1mb and on the market the apk is advertised as 2.4mb.
Any ideas? (other than reverting to 2.3.4 just to pull the apk)
I'm gonna go back to stock to get it but it shouldn't really make a difference. I know someone here has another device so will try with his and see what I can sort out. Have been waiting on a NatWest app for months on Android!

Looks like it can't be done. The apk is actually a .ZIP (as you've said) and renaming it to an apk won't install. Don't think it's available unless it appears on the Market for your phone
I have downloaded the app on my rooted sensation, is they anything I can download to back it up and then upload to dropbox or something ?? I am sure I used something to backup an app and installed it on my other phone before but cant remember the name of it.

It can't be backed up as the app itself is a ZIP file not an APK. I've already pulled the app from my phone using adb and it remaing it to a .apk doesn't work. Looks like NatWest have made a boo boo with their app

Installed it from the market and copied the apk using ES File Explorer.
I extracted the apps from /data/app using adb and it came out as a ZIP - bizzare!!
Probably because it's in /data/app-private.

Got mine about 12h later. Quite sleek app to be honest, but responds weirdly when you flick through accounts, you'll see what i mean.

Well Evilfuel99 I have no idea what slimpatch is , so I can not answer that question(Will try to find out answer though). The Touchdown Exchange app is not on the rom ,but of course you can get it from market.

Hey i can did the instructions as told but im stuck at the samsung screen..... i can get into cwm recovery but the rom wont load.... any ideas?
BTW i did all of this.....
Download the latest GingerReal and put it on your SD-card.
2. Boot in recovery.
3.Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
4.Wipe Dalvik Cache.
5. Choose for "install zip from SD" then "choose zip from sd".
6. Apply the GingerReal-X.X-XXXX.zip.
7. Wait till it is done and reboot your device.
8. Wait till it is fully booted.
Congratulation you are now on the latest GingerReal

So, after flashing and all that, I went to the market and downloaded JD, and then JDU... Went to go run JDU, and it says application not found depsite being in my apps menu.
Rebooted, uninstalled, reinstalled... Same result...

In your apps menu is it a grey icon for JD?If so it saved in wrong location.

I reflashed just to make sure, and I'm getting the same issue. Yes, both are installed (JDU has a nice feature to tell you to install the first if you forgot to anyway). I double checked the install path, and it's in the right place. Nothing looks out of place in my lib files.
And, in fact, it does work - The icon appears as running in balanced mode, but I can't change it ( I like to run in aggressive) because when you click on the icon in the notification window, it spits out the "Application not found" error...

enable usb debugging. stop any adb processes that are currently running on your PC. and make sure HTC Sync isn't running as well.

Glad it worked well. The apk is sent there as seperate app that can be overdone with other sms app if needed in kitkat as default I believe.

You should remove GApps from zip package:
1-Wasted time especially in slow internet connections (file is heavier than the one without GApps inside)
2-CyanogenMod ROMs can't come with preinstalled GApps due to licensing restrictions. http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps

For Torch, audio effects and swipe to type:
Delete AudioFX.apk, LatinIME.apk and Torch.apk in system/app, take DSPManager.apk, LatinIME.apk and Torch.apk from normal CM11 and place them into CM11S system/app setting permissions to 0644 (rw-r--r--) or directly into zip before flashing
