[Q] CWM 5

Hi,
i've got a question:
Can I flash the ClockworkMod 5 on a RFS-File System to install CyanogenMod?
Is the AmonRA Recovery enough to flash CM 7.2?
I've bricked my Fit with ROM-Manager 2 times, does the flashable CWM brick my Fit too?

Yes, u can flash cwm on rfs file system... Amon ra is perfect for me... I'm using it currently... Flash able cwm can't brick ur phone

nothing to do in that
1.root your device using CF-Root via odin
2.place the custom rom in your sd card i.e x-gamerz and on installing it u will see a nice beautiful display of aroma.just install what u want and done

First start going base original source
eg for Alpha 4 and 5 (partition and modem)
ODIN 1.85 Only
KPE > LF2 > CF-LF2
RECOVERY
Wipe factory
CM 10 Alpha 4 (2 liver)
Wipe factory
NOW you can use AROMA for Alpha 4 Rom :highfive:
Mounts and storage > format / system

Need Help, i have only experience with i9300 German Language Rom?

Hi Guys,
i live in Germany and lost my i9300.
Few Days ago i got a Verizon SCH i535 for a small price..
Now, i want to Root the device, install CWM and flash the SCH i535 with a custom ROM.
Device is rooted now (thx2 beanstown106)
Now i'm looking for a ROM (prefered with German language and an actual Android 4.4 !?, maybe CM 10.x ??)

The phone is now in a loop and boot no system but the CWM Recovery v6.0.3.1
i checked the md5sum of the cm-11-20131111-UNOFFICIAL-d2vzw.zip .... has the same md5sum as providet by the uploader

Problem still there.. only boot to CWM.
Tryed another ROM [cm-11-20131111-UNOFFICIAL-d2vzw.zip] -> but still (Status 7)
Did this result of a wrong ROM ?
What am i doing wrong
any Help is appreciated

Wanna link me to the CM11 file you got? is it stable enough to use as a daily driver?

I used this -> cm-11-20131111-UNOFFICIAL-d2vzw.zip and the ROM of 20131118 on both i got the (Status 7) abort.
Result this of a wrong/too old Version ov CWM ?
I have installed CWM Recovery v6.0.3.1 !!

You have to convert it to Odin tar. There are windows applications to do it. Then flash in Odin.

Steps under stock ROM, before flash with custom.

Hi.
What kind of steps should I do before flash with custom ROM.
I am now on Samsung ROM (4.1.2) and it is rooted. Backup is most essential if I would like to go back to it.
But anything else?

Try to post questions in q&a section next time
Back up all
Be sure you have the latest stable recovery if you want a KitKat ROM
Wipe all in recovery
Flash ROM
Flash gapps
Reboot

So is there any apk that is possible to make all backups in stock rom and then under custom rom to install that apk and recover everything there?
I want to avoid installing all apk and set all settings from scratch.

[Completed] Unable to flash cm13.0 rom by developer SULTAN

Since the launch of launch of cm 13.0 i am waiting for sultan's devloped cm 13.o rom. Now it is available at xda but when i tried to flash it via twrp 2.8.6 recovery it fails showing the message failed to install updat.zip file in the rom. Pls rell me how to flash it
