[Q] gaaps dont work for 4.1.1 CM10 ROM

I flashed the CM10 ROM which by the way is awesome. I flashed gaaps for jb provided in the same thread. And after i rebooted my Phone I got notification that Android is upgrading installing google apps. But Unfortunately I cant find any of the Google Application Installed and once i was able to get PlayStore but even that did open up. Any Help Here is greatly appreciated. There might be a simple solution to this forgive me if its already discussed but i couldnt find a solution to this

Try mounting system b4 u flash gapps. and flash it after first boot.

Did What you told Still Didnt work for... The Apps do not Show up.

This Time I Got Gmail but still dont have playstore can you please help what i am doing wrong

Hey. First, don't do what I did. I though I may have needed to flash the newest version of CWM to my Optimus T. Don't do it. It was soft bricked, and it was a pain to fix. Second; try updating your SU binary, and downloading the latest SuperUser apk from the browser. I personally haven't tried it (still recovering from brick), but it's said that it is a viable solution. If that doesn't work, your best bet is to download any version of Blackmarket Alpha, open it, and let it update itself. It pretty much has all of the same apps as the Play Store, minus the sleek UI and better sorting we both miss from the store.
Footnote: Gapps may have not flashed the applications themselves, but go to System > Accounts and check to see if Google is an option. That tells you it's atleast half way working. If you can, download the Play Store .apk, and repeat the second thing I told you above.

Hello, i also have an LG Optimus One P500 using the same ROM version and gapps don't install either. The browser doesn't work (it starts and right after it closes, if i push the off button to shutdown the screen and then i reopen it, it does not lock. Anyway, this problem appears only with build 5 version. I hope someone/somebody will fix it, till then i'll stick with build 4. Thank you for your time.

Did you use the smaller version of gapps or the Generic one? One of the problems with 4.x is that it's so big there isn't room for all the Google apps. If you used the 88MB version then try the gapps-jb-light-20120804-signed.zip version (55MB) and see if that one works. I saw several Optimus V folks with the same issue and using a chopped down version worked for them. The problem is that there isn't enough internal storage for both the ROM and the full gapps package.

Your /system partition is full. Delete stuff to make space, then reflash gapps.

[Q] [H] Google play force closes in CM10 ROM.

I downloaded this ROM and successfully made it to work (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1847002)
But I am having problem running google play store.. because as soon as i start it, it closes automatically, just disappears. Tell me what to do
I am real noob and dont know much about all these stuff
Should I download GAPPS? If yes..how to install it? I have already downloaded it...

Try flashing another gaaps package, or this one again(which is in the first page of the thread )
And please fix your title with something like 'google play not working' , or 'CM10 problem with play store', this way you'll get more reply's, with this

Hello everyone! First post from a noob android fanboy! I have a gnex gsm version. I rooted recently and flashed cm11, but the problem is that I did not backed up my data(don't know why I did that sincerely), but the problem is somewhere else. I couldn't install anything. When I try to download Facebook it says error, try to download play store, won't open. I sign in with my account on play store on the web and it show the status of my previous apps installed, but I can't find them nowhere. This is the best part where I factory reset my phone, loosing all my data, but the situation is the same. I flashed cwm before the custom ROM, but I don't know if I have it anymore. Any idea is welcome guys. Thanks in advance

You cant install google play and start downloading apps right away !!
You have to flash GApps
(Google Apps)
Search for this on google : cm11 gapps
Download it and format system + factory reset from the recovery (cwm)
Then flash the rom again .. And before u boot to system, flash the GApps package

[Q] Problem with Galaxy SIII

I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-19300 8GB running on Anroid 4.3, rooted and custom ROM Manager installed. Recently all Google Play services have stopped working. I literally can't do anything. I can' t log in, can't use Youtube, can't open the Play store because it gives me the No connection- retry error, of course. I heard it was because of Freedom. I deleted the app and tried to re-install it... but I cannot even install apk files; not any kind of apk file. I tried to force-install it with an android terminal, but that doesn't work either. Aptoide also does not want to install anything. I basically deleted the cache for every google app & I uninstalled all updates; but all in vain. Nothing seems to work except for Whatsapp and the actual internet browser. Please help me, I really need my phone to work properly.

Reflash Stock ROM via Odin (you wont lost anything on internal storage) or try flash any gapps for 4.x.x via custom recovery.

Download your stock ROM. Put it in your pc and then flash it using Odin.
U may also need to flash gapps using your custom recovery.

Ok. You have got the answer in this thread
But before that just try to do a factory data reset
If you have some important data, take a nandroid backup
And then do a factory data reset
And I may be a foolish in this but I am considering it because everything may be possible here, enable the background data if it is disable

Well, okay, I guess that's my only option, I have reflashed the Stock ROM and that hasn't fixed my problem either. Factory data reset it will be. I'll come back to you whenever I have done the data reset. I really hope this'll fix the problem, because I don't want to do a factory data reset at all. :/

Modded playstore to unlock all apps

Is there any playstore mods I can install to force my phone to install apps that are now compatible. A few games ive bought have became incompatible after a while and i cant install them/update them if i download an apk. Im using an Xperia M stock 4.3 rooted with an overclocked kernel and cwm. Ive tried market helper and installed from playstore website but the app never started to install. Any help would be appreciated thanks

i believe i remember seeing an exposed module that would bypass it, but dont hold me to that.
maybe do some searches on the exposed site and see if you can find anything.
