Very nice app.
Just a suggestion: after ocr , the app propose to share the recognised text with an app like mail message ... insteadof to have the possibility to save the text with the scanned object and to have possibility to paste the recognised text into office app.

Hi Philippe,
Thanks for your feedback. Thats true, saving recognised text together with the scanned image is currently out of the scope of presented functionallity. It would be very helpful if you could describe how you see it. We are very opened to accept suggestions/recommendations from our users. Feel free to submit a Feature Request.

Hello Pave
Some problems I met and I would like to share:
1) the grips for modifying an image (crop/sale/perspective) are very small and often my finger press/click an icon (ocr/ upright- or scale/crop/perspective-down left)
2) when I modify a picture (filter or* crop or scale...) in order to enhance the success of ocr-ing text or just scan the interesting part, I apply filter, crop,...but after It's impossible to save the modified picture.
And when ocr is launched,* all the picture is scanned despite it was modified before.
3) please display the the active langage on the ocr icon. Long press on the ocr icon swipe the langage.*
4) When I press on save, app answers nothing to save even I modify a picture!
So it's difficult to understand the save feature:
-Save original picture?
-Save modified picture?
-Save for transforming into pdf? So why not have a icon 'scan pdf' in order to pdf-ise directly
-Save recognised text?
I send you several crash report of you
Best regards

In the same order you have asked:
1) the grips for modifying an image (crop/sale/perspective) are very small and often my finger press/click an icon (ocr/ upright- or scale/crop/perspective-down left)

It is not neccesary to press grips at all, app detects the closest grip to your finger and then you just move it as you wish. Just position your finger somewhere near the grip and try to move it. You will see that it works even though you are not pressing on the grip directly. We hope this is more convenient to user, than pressing exactly on the grip
2) when I modify a picture (filter or* crop or scale...) in order to enhance the success of ocr-ing text or just scan the interesting part, I apply filter, crop,...but after It's impossible to save the modified picture.

This is strange. It works on all of our testing devices. Can you please describe the exact order of operations to reproduce this bug?
3) please display the the active langage on the ocr icon. Long press on the ocr icon swipe the langage.*

Ok, we will think about that

Save button in this window should just save ANY changes you have applied to the image. It appears beeing related to second problem you have mentioned. Can you please describe the exact order of operations to reproduce this bug?

Hello Pavel
1) it's OK. It's just question of training...but it's not evident for the first time.
2) OK I understand:
a) you click on edit then
b) you can modify the picture (crop/scale/perspective) with your finger. In order to 'apply' your modifications you click one more time on the crop/scale/perspective or filter icon.
c) then you can save definitely the modified picture.
But you lose original picture! May be it will be interesting to keep original if you want to do modifications later *on the original picture.
3 ) OK. Super!
4) related to 2). I sugest : Press on save icon saves modifications or results of the moment => If you modify the picture it saves the modified picture , if you do ocr, it saves the recognised text, if you pdf-ise a picture, it save the pdf. For the original picture, I suggest that it saved by default.*
I suggest also that in the "new document" view, you can see the original picture in a small vignette (as actual) but you can access (long press /swipe) to all saved objects (modified picture/ ocr text/ pdf / jpeg) related to the vignette.
5) After OCR, the app propose directly to share the result of the ocr process ! But may be, before sharing, I want to check the result of the ocr process and correct letter / sign /word that wasn't correctly recognised. So, I suggest before sharing the result of the OCR process, that the app :
a) shows the recognised text in first,
b) allow to corrects mistakes, (==> learn feature from mistakes and correction)
c) save the results
d) and then share
Note : when you share an ocr text with some app, the app opens but the ocr text didn't paste (cf memo app on note 2 - KK 4.4.2).
6) Same suggestions with transformation in pdf or jpeg : after pdf process, the app directly propose to share the pdf / jpeg with external app. But before, I want to check if the pdf/ jpeg is OK before Sharing. I want to save the pdf / jpeg in order to use it later. (the pdf appears in the RecentPages directory). So why not to display it in the new document view of the app ?
Best regards

yes, when you press Save button after you have edited image the edited version will be saved and replace the original one. We think about adding a new "filter", which will revert all changes and switch the image to the original picture.

Well, it is a good idea itself, but we thought that one would prefer to correct/modify text in some existing text editor. So, at the current stage of app development, we would prefer to include support for different text editors rather than coding our own. However, we will keep your suggestion in mind.

Actually you can open PDF for preview before you send it. Check Options and set "Open PDF" to "On".
Regarding JPG: In the main ("New document") window press on the picture icon, it will open another window where you can preview or edit image again if neccessary

Hello Pavel,
"about adding a new "filter", which will revert all changes and switch the image to the original picture"
==>instead of "cancelling all changes", Why not just offer the possibility to cancelled sellectively the last change in order to choose the best change + a possibility to compare with the original picture in order to decide if the current change is the best chang.

==> the problem is not if I can modify ocr text with embeded or internal editor but to hav possibility to check (with internal or external editor) the result before sharing !
On my device, when the OCR process ends,I have just the choice to share the results with an extrenal app like mail, gmail, MMS or SMS, and so on... So I can't check the results of the OCR process before I "share" it into a third app. In other word, I have to share the results of the OCR process, then correct the result directly into the app I have select to share the result of the OCR process.
"Can you give a link to the app? We will test" ==> memo.apk, a samsung app

Not going deep into details, there are some technical limitations to achieve that.

Thats true, but all of these apps usually have 'Share text' option, dont they? Our main idea is just to allow the user to use recognised text in other apps, where he/she can edit it and then share.
We are working on a new update already, i'll post a message once it is out

Suggestions for new features for a scan app
I would like to share with you some suggestions:
1) Until the bug isn't solved: when download langage pack, dysplay a short message "wait until the langage pack is really installed"
2) after "ocr " ing a text : the recognised text should be saved "as a note/comment" with the scanned text. Then I could :
-paste the recognised text into other app like office app,
-share quickly with an other app: mail, message, note...
What so you think about these?
best regards

I think it makes sense to save recognized text and to associate it with the image.
We are currently working on the update to include some improvements discussed above. There is lots of work, plaease understand that its challenging to add new features immediately. However let me reassure you once again that we always keep suggestions from our users in mind and are constantly working to make the app better

Update to 1.1.12
Hi Guys!
New version is out Whats new:
1) New filter button has been added which allows to revert changes
2) Interface improvements: long click on OCR button to switch language, less ads
3) Minor bug fixes

Hello Pavel
I understand that there is a lot of work and I will be patient and wait for new version.
I have an other suggestions :
3) sometimes, ocr-ed text are scaned from news magazine.* But the article presents the text in 1 or 2 or 3 column. I think that it will be a great feature in ocr - ing a text if it was possible to set the number of column corresponding to the scaned article.
4) possibility to recognised text from a pdf.
5) to be able to scan code bar or qr code...
6) add a feature to scan and recognised quickly mail address, mail, phone number., url, ...from visit card, poster, advertising, ...
I really appreciate your attention to my suggestions.
Best regards

[APP] Fill out PDF Froms BETA

Finally, after several requests from android developers, there is an app that will let you fill out forms and view PDFs in ICC Colors. This is the first app that will let you fill out forms that companies or people made using Acrobat. This was what I was missing on my xoom and why I had to get an Ipad for business.
This App is in its 2nd stage beta release and is not out for public. Below I have copied the changelog and the link to the apk, which has to be installed manually.
P.S More changes and updates are still coming and this IS a beta release.
New features in this release:
· Text markup tools – Highlight, underline and cross out
· Fill and save PDF forms
· PDF file association – qPDF Notes should now work with your file
manager
· Free text annotation tool to add text boxes
· Support for documents that use ICC colors spaces
· Added stability and better performance
To download and install, you will first need to enable the installation of "non-Market" applications by going to Settings -> Applications and then choosing the Unknown Sources entry. After you've changed this setting, you can download qPDF Notes from:
http://www.qoppa.com/android/demo/qpdfnotes.apk
I've been wanting the ability to do this forever.

Fab! Just what I needed
Hi
Been looking round for an app like this for a while. This seems to do exactly what I want it to (thanks!)
Do you know when it is due for public release? Would love to start using it but without the "demo version" watermark!
Kim
Does it handle JavaScripts within PDFs, or only allow filling out of form fields?
I'm curious because most (even desktop) third-party PDF apps only allow form filling (if at all) and very few can run the javascripts embedded in more complex PDF forms.
I got "java.lang.NullPointerException" on Xoom wifi 32gb. I attempted to pull from a stored file located in my download folder through the software's interface. I then attempted through dropbox. When I pulled it through dropbox it gave me an option to open with different software I have on my XOOM. I select Qpdf and got the save fail code. The file that I used is the same that I utilize via pdfexpert on my ipad.
I hope this helps.
Thank You
On the HTC EVO is doesn't show when choosing on a drop down list.
It does show the list though.
Great work.
I had PDF Expert before I sold the ipad and I've been missing this.
For an alternative, you can check the application called 'Fill and Sign PDF Forms' that is free and available on Android Market.
Will it work on the Xoom ? i need an app like this for model releases
Nice work. Good to see someone working on a viable PDF solution.
Any plans to implement the ability for digital signatures (either via using finger on screen, or stylus)
Keep up the good work.
NIce! I'll give this a try!
xoom not loading files
I tried opening a password protected PDF from school didn't work does the application have that ability
14.99? a little steep eh? appreciate the work and i think you have a great product here but thats excessive

Features for the "Holy Grail" note-taking app

There are numerous threads about the several high-quality inking/note-taking apps available. Quite a few of the apps have very responsive developers striving to meet the requested needs of their users. This thread hopes to capture most requested features of the "ideal" inking/note-taking app for all those developers to consider incorporating to their respective products.
I'll break the features into categories, and encourage others to do the same (and to add categories that I fail to include). I'll begin with the feature I consider to be most sorely lacking from all apps so far.
CROSS-PLATFORM INTEGRATION
1. Notes/notebooks are in a format that can be accessed/edited natively without conversion/import/export from Android and PC, minimally, and from iOS/Mac optimally.
2. In lieu of "native" format integration, the app allows a "one-button" default export/import option, essentially a "quick-save" and a "quick-load" button.
Quick-save feature: Allow me to open a note, add some on-the-fly content, hit the "quick-save" button, then find it moments later on my PC synced via Dropbox. (I want to be able to do this without having to click through multiple file saving/export/location options each time, probably by setting up my default file type/location, etc., and having the title auto-generate with a time-stamp or similar.)
Quick-load feature: Similar, but in reverse. The quick-load button will automatically open (and "import" if necessary) the default file in my Dropbox that I use for ongoing notes at my PC. The goal is to hit one button and have my most recent file of ongoing notes from my PC open, without going through the whole import routine/screens. (And after editing on my GNote, I would hit the "Quick-save" button to easily make the updates available on my PC again.)
NOTE CONTENTS
1. Easily incorporate ink, typed text, drawings/paint, images, imported files, etc., on the same page of a note. (Freenote is strong on this as well.)
INKING EXPERIENCE
1. Ink directly on the page at any location.
2. Option to ink in large strokes via an input panel that captures the ink and then scales and inserts it in a straight line at the indicated cursor point (This is currently one of Freenote's most distinctive features; 7Notes has similar but less well-developed functionality.)
3. Optional palm rejection
4. Configurable stylus button (LectureNotes does a great job with this already)
5. Configurable list of default pens
6. Ink format allows for OCR/text-searchable export to Evernote
NOTEBOOK EXPERIENCE
1. Both a GUI-based and a menu-driven ability to switch between notebooks. I want to be have a screen that shows all my notebooks with spiral-bound notebook icon or similar, but also want to be able to switch from one notebook to another through a drop-down menu available from any page.
DRAWING/PAINTING EXPERIENCE
1. Palette of default shapes/objects to draw into the note. (LectureNotes does this well.)
2. Palette of painting brushes tools with their names/key features listed beside them for those of us that don't recognize them from icon only!
LAYOUT/VIEW
1. Ability to view 2 pages from different notebooks side-by-side for ease of copy and pasting between them; ideally able to lass & drag from one to the other.
2. "Floating" settings: Ability to resize the window so that the app floats. The goal might be to "float" my preferred note app over top of another app in the GNote's split-screen mode. Example: I have the browser and S-Note open on my GNote. But I prefer Freenote, so I have the option to "float" it over top of S-note, so that I can access Freenote with the browser still open beside it.
That's what I have off the top of my head. I hope others of you will add to this list, and that developers of ALL the great inking apps will add their insights as well to explain which features are or are not feasible and why.
JC
I think you covered it pretty well. One thing that's also important is a user-friendly interface-easily understandable and customizable.
I would like to see some if not all of the following features, I know some of them may be big asks but ideas can be taken from the examples:
It would be good if we can have a secure folder for private notes i.e. minutes of meetings that have sensitive information , ideally industry standard encryption.
Handwriting conversion at a later time similar to 7Notes / OneNote
Sharing notes for collaborative working in a format that other apps can read for editing.
Interface needs to be as clean as possible with only essential tools showing as and when needed.
Create our own templates or import from the community using the app.
That's it due now!
For me, PDF import is probably the most important feature.
I'd like to see more apps with the ability to transcribe your handwriting into typed text. That's why I haven't used any other note taking app besides S-Notes. I use that feature all the time. I write in my own handwriting but the output is much cleaner and I can fit more notes onto one page.

Have you tried 7notes? This app does what you have described and for me personally, I feel that it is more accurate than the Samsung handwriting keyboard. If you use the 7Notes app that comes built in for taking notes, you can write in your handwriting and have them converted into text at a later time.

7notes is only useful for a couple of words at a time.
What's needed is the ability to convert handwritten notes at a later time. ( aka "S Memo" feature - Handwriting to text).
This should be a basic requirement in all worthwhile handwritten note-taking apps.
I'd add the following "wishlist" (dreamlist) items:

Possibility to select ink (words, sentences) with a free-hand lasso (LectureNotes has it and it's a great and very useful feature) to be moved-resized-rotated-copied-deleted(-edited?).
Possibility to insert text boxes with the additional option to edit them at a later time. With S Note you can insert text in a box but you can't edit it later, i.e. to change a single word (correct me if I'm wrong).
Math formula recognition and translation into a typographic form, like in S Note, and, in addition, possibility to edit the "formula box" at a second time (i.e. for making some correction).
Possibility to use layers (many apps, including Lecturenotes have it, but S Note hasn't)
ANDROID OS INTEGRATION
Possibility to create small note widgets.
In practice a note app that could include all the best features of LectureNotes and S Note would be rather close to my "Holy Grail" note-taking app
I would like an ability to select diagram only template, that can be saved as SVG or VSD format.
Ability to open and edit existing onenote documents.
Cross-platform integration is key for me.
Saving notes in a bitmap image (png, bmp, jpg etc) or pdf format, is completely unacceptable.

7notes is only useful for a couple of words at a time.
What's needed is the ability to convert handwritten notes at a later time. ( aka "S Memo" feature - Handwriting to text).
This should be a basic requirement in all worthwhile handwritten note-taking apps.

I am not sure if I understood your comments but I have made some screen shots to show how the notes can be written and then converted at a later time.
If what you meant by a "couple of words at a time" when converting the handwriting then you are correct in your description. The words are converted as you proof read what has been written in your handwriting and you make corrections along the way so what you end up with is your handwritten notes, converted to what was intended.

Thank you for the time/effort in generating the attached screenshots. Much appreciated.
What I had in mind was to be able to scribble/write all over the screen like we do on regular paper.
This would give me better control of the use of the page space and afford me speed.
Then in editing/formatting at a later time, convert the handwritten notes to text, and drag&drop to place it wherever on the page.
What 7notes has appears to have been a keyboard replacement (alternate input method) designed for regular tablets/phones that do not have a digitizer, hence the writing window area limited to the bottom of the screen (with the text then placed at the Cursor position).
I hope I have been able to clearly express myself.

[APP] Capsa Notes - A Note Taking App

Hi guys, I created a note taking app... hey! don't run away! This one is different, really.
I started developing a note taking app following my personal wishlist:
- Offline access.
- Option to sync the notes with my computer, but hopefully using.
- Read the notes easily with any text editor.
- Simple formatting.
- Simple organization with tags and folders.
So I started developing Capsa Notes, and then, as a former ORG-Mode user (not a power user though), new ideas came into my mind.
Capsa Notes saves your notes in plain text in your device. So if you want to read them without using Capsa Notes, it's OK. And if you add a new text file in the Capsa Notes folder, you will see the note in the app. The notes can have simple formatting using Markdown, so you can easily add bullets, numbered lists, titles, etc. It has a nice Markdown editor with buttons for the most common format options. And has Dropbox sync out of the box.
If you want a quick introduction, here's a video:
Capsa Notes is intended to be as simple as the user wants. I mean, if you want basic features, there they are, and you will be using it in no time. But also it has some advanced features that makes Capsa Notes like a simple (not fast, sorry) non-relational database, flexible enough to use it for... well almost anything I guess, it has a lot of possibilities.
I use it to store recipes, keep a log of the wines I've tasted (and then remember if it was good or not, or which type statistically I like the most), quick reminders, todo lists, shopping lists, write ideas for short stories...
Basic use
The notes are plain text files with the .md extension.
So in my desktop computer I can add a note in my Dropbox folder, and I'll have it on my device as soon as it has been synchronized.
Notes can have tags. Tags are saved directly in the text file, so you don't have to worry if you take the note somewhere else, as the tags will still be there. Then you can filter the notes by tags using the sliding drawer, where the used tags are listed.
Now, the folders: Capsa Notes uses folders in a slightly different way. Each folder must be associated to a note. So basically, in Capsa Notes, folders are notes that can contain subnotes (in fact, the folders are called Capsas for make the differentiation from a standard folder). In the app you don't have to do anything special, just create a note and then attach a folder to it using the action menu. Then you can add subnotes (and subnotes to each subnote if you want, and so on). If you want to manually create a Capsa (that is, a note with a folder attached), create a note, and then create a folder with the same name as the note without the extension. That's it.
You can import websites in Capsa Notes, they will be converted to Markdown (I created this project for that purpose, if someone wants to contribute, is more than welcome), and has a simple article extractor based on Boilerpipe for retrieving the main content.
Your notes can be shared as a plain text file from the app, and also as a html file. If the note contains images, the image will be reduced and encoded in the HTML file.
You can create templates too, so in case you want to add always the same note structure with minor changes, you will be prompted with a dialog asking for the fields you defined in the template (check the video for an example).
Advanced use
Notes can have variables. You add the variables defining them with a dollar sign and then the variable value. For example $milk 2 means that the variable milk will have a value of 2. Variables can be text (if you want to use spaces, surround the text with quotation marks), numbers (you can use periods) or dates (in ISO 8601 format).
The variables can be used for queries, so you can create customized lists based on these variables (list the notes that have $date lower than today). Capsa Notes has a simple query editor.
Queries can be inserted inline with the text too. So you can have a note with a lot of subnotes, and then have in the text, for example, the total sum of the variable $price displayed in the main note. For adding a query, surround it with ${ and }. Queries format is very similar to SQL with some differences, you can check a simple reference here.
Capsa Notes also have Tasker integration (only in the full version). So you can trigger a task if a query matches a certain condition, or assign a Tasker variable the result of a query, and then do whatever you want with it in Tasker.
And that's it mostly. I hope you like it, keep in mind it's still in beta, but stable enough for daily usage (at least for me).

I hope you enjoy it! Stay tuned for updates.
I just found the app 30 mins ago while i was browsing google play for outliners/note taking apps.
My first impression of it is very good so i googled it and this thread showed up, even better.
I like the idea of the structure and everything being easily modifiable with text editor on computer.
I will migrate my notes and use it for a couple of days and see if it fits me as good as it looks.
Nice work so far.

I'm glad you liked it. This las couple of weeks I've been really busy, so I'm focusing primarily on bug fixes. In a couple of hours an update should be live. If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know.
Cheers
Nice, i look forward to the update.
So far i like it very much.
I've actually written down some suggestions as i tested it this morning (ofcourse i wrote them in your app )
If someone was having issues when adding images in notes with a filename containing non ASCII characters, it should be solved in the current version.
Also a couple of crashes when trying to move or delete a note before it was fully loaded.
Here are some stuff i wrote down as i tested it. I've found one minor bug, i have some suggestions and then some bigger suggestions that i imagine will take some time to implement (if you choose to).
Buggs:
"Loading note..." is stuck when created a new entry (not after editing).
Suggestions:
Making a "home" button to quickly navigate back to the start position, pehaps placed in the toolbar.
Adding so swiping works like this: List -> Note -> Home (or up one step).
Maybe add something on the front page that displays how the hierarchy looks for the notes with folders?
Something like "3 sub folders, 15 notes" just to get a quick overview.
Adding something to be able to delete notes without entering the notes one by one and pressing menu button to get the option.
Being able to mark several notes for deletion at the same time.
Adding a button like a "trash can" next to the "check" symbol when creating/editing to cancel or escaping without saving.
It would be nice to be able to change the width separator on split view.
It would be great to be able to scale the markdown bar. I for example use the galaxy note 3 and the icons are unneccessairly big on these big devices.
It would be nice to set your own colors for notes and folders.
Being able to set a real title for the note/folder that also becomes the file/folder name, instead of automaticly assigning it.
The move note, delete note and attach new folder under the menu button could maybe be icons on field that says "Notes" and take you one level up for quicker access.
When viewing a note, swiping left/right to change notes in the folder.
Big suggestions:
Being able to chose to have your kind of documents (.md) or just using it as a smart text editor with ".txt" extension.
Perhaps set this option when creating a folder so every note beneath it is formatted like that.
And maybe a selection if you want to use your header or not in the note?
When accessing the sidebar inside a note it would be nice to see the wole hierarchy, like a navigational tree.
Maybe with shortcuts so you can jump inside the navigational tree.
Adding alternatives for sorting notes in folders. Like created/edited/alphabeticly/tag (the usuals) acending/decending. And having "own" as well when you want to manually sort them.
This one is alittle bit linked to the suggestion to be able to choose a costum filename.
Support for handwritten notes? Nothing fancy like handwriting recognitions, but maybe like a simple "paint" function and saving them as pictures in the notes.
That's a lot of suggestions, thanks!
BTW, the loading note bug should be solved by now.
I will review the suggestions and get back here with what can be done, what is more unlikely, and what is incoming, thanks again!
Yes well its just suggestions, i hope you find something you like
I actually still got that loading bug. The note loads as it should but the text bubble is still there. Not a big problem though.
I've started using the app more frequently now, replacing my other note apps to get a deeper feel for it and i like the style so far. I use an app to sync the Capsa folder with my computer over wifi and then use notepad++ with an explorer extension to get tree viewing, so far it works great.
I like the open format of the app so far. Just a couple of suggestions and a question.
- The option of font size for notes is a welcomed addition. The font on the home screen didn't change. Could that be an option also?
- The insert date button uses the date dial which doesn't tell you what day of the week you are selecting. Google Keep and a few other apps use a calender date picker, which is much more functional.
Then the question: where are the .md files stored? I found some in /sdcard/Capsa Notes, but they all aren't there. I use Dropsync to synchronize with Dropbox and some files (mostly shared notes from other apps) aren't there.
I love that it's as complex as I want it to be and I can simply save notes directly into it (if I can find out where they're stored).
Good Notes!
Hi,
I'm searching for a note-taking app for a long time now and yours looks very, very promising!
My suggestions (and my needs) are as follows:
Folders
just plain folders in the root where you can put your notes in. At the moment the folders have to be attached to a note? a bit confusion. Maybe the folders could be Tabs on top of the screen just below the navigation.
Image Sizes
Images are Fullscreen in a Note, that is slow, even on my Quadcore Sony Tablet Z. maybe there should be an option how big the images should be displayed in a note (in percent) or if it should be full size or just with a thumbnail and clickable, which then displays the image.
Note Linking
why not have wiki-like notes-linking to other notes
Inline Links
Clickable inline links for URLs, maybe phone numbers, google maps coordinates, e-mails and other notes (note-linking)
Draging Notes
well, I think the draging notes function is IMHO not that usefull as they are just for sorting notes. Would'nt it be cool if the notes can be draged to a folder with that function.
Sorting
A small button on the top of the screen with sorting modes: Alphabet, Creation Date, Modification Date and Reversing the current Sort option
Searching
The most important point for a lot of notes, to find them fast. I'm missing a search field just on the top header. And an instant search would be really great to see the matching note titles, tags, note-text while you type. Maybe an option field nearby where we can choose what so search (tag or title or text or all of them)
Import
For new users with a lot of notes a import function would be great. I would suggest the easiest way would be a CSV or plain text import option via local or dropbox file should do the work.
Sync Options
Forgot to mention Sync options: small manual Sync Button on the main screen and a sync intervall in the options (1h, 3h, 5h, 1d, on change, on note save, etc.)
I think your app has really great pontential in the note-taking apps, because the dozens of apps which are available mostly have 2 or 3 of the features that would be great, but not all the mentioned, but you getting very close already now! Please go on and enhance your app. Would really appreciate this! :good:
I just bought the payed version to help you a bit to further develop your truly great app!
Greets,
Patrick.

Sorry for the late reply.
If you are not using Dropbox Sync within the app, the notes should be available in /sdcard/CapsaNotes. But you must be sure that you are not using the Dropbox option within the app.
About the date picker, I will look for a nicer solution, probably a calendar would be more useful. Let me know if you find your notes in the folder!

Hello there! lately i was working on this project, which called C-Obfuscator(Custom Obfuscator), i was really unsecure about how Whatsapp and other messaging platforms are unsafe and hackable, putting in mind that i sometimes send private messages, and/or passwords related to other services for people, What if someone could put his hand on it ? or knew my private messages ? or anyone else ? That's how i came up with this idea, an app that let you decide how you "encrypt" the letters and only you ( and the person ) know how to decrypt and read it, So let's start .. shall we ?
Intro:
C-Obfuscatoris an encrypting & decrypting app that secure your texts as normal texts, messages, passwords, to secured string based on your own method .
Features:
Encrypting & Decrypting with no limits.
Export & Import your profiles.
Create unlimited profiles.
Share Profile directly.
Copy & Share result (encrypted/decrypted) text.
Free.
Screens:
Download Link: Google Play.
Detailed FAQ (you can also check it in GP desc, and in in App's Settings/FAQ):
Q: Personal opinion:
A: I only use this app to store my Passwords, my private messages, my codes, and i backup the profiles to make sure nothing goes wrong (I've exposed my tactic :$ ) .
Q: More explanation ?
A: C-Obfuscator(Custom Obfuscator), is like a translate app, you put your Text and select the encrypting/decrypting profile, and it convert the letters according to your profile, by that way you can protect your text and store them in an encrypted String, all you need is to save your profile to make sure you don't delete it by mistake .
Q: What is Randomizer ?
A: As stated above, to "encrypt" a text, you need to have records, and making a record for each letter in each language or at least in your mother language, is a hard task, so here's Randomizer to help you.
All you have to do is, put the letters you want to include in the profile in "Letters" field, for example :
"abcdkjg", and the app will take care of it, and will make the profile and randomize the "To" fields for you.
Q: How to ?
A:
Steps are as the following:
• Select "My Profiles List" option.
• Click on FAB icon, and select the creating way, you have either "Normal Creation", or "Auto Randomize", the second short the time on you, check down for more info about it.
• After creating, click on the profile.
• If you want to add new letters, add a new record via clicking on the FAB, then put which letter to convert in "From" field, and more than 5 letters in "To" field.
• After you\'re done, save the profile and go the main ui, which is "Converter" .
• To encrypt, replace left "Text" with your profile, to decrypt, choose the right "Text" with your profile.
• Now, all you need to do is press the Convert FAB, and you\'re going to see the encrypted text .
• Same goes for decrypting.
• You can Copy, and/or share the result. *The whole process depends on your profile and the complex letters, also if you want another person to decrypt it, he must has the same profile, it means he needs to import, please check the steps down for more info.
Q: Export
A:
To Copy/Share it as Json:
• Select "My Profiles List".
• Select the profile, then press on "Share" icon in the Toolbar.
• Choose whether you want to copy it to Clipboard or Share it .
• After Copying/Sharing, you will it as a Json String.
To Make it as a file:
• Do the same steps as above, but rather than Sharing it, you copy it.
• After copying, create a new file with ".json" end.
• Paste the Json string inside that file and save it.
Q: Import
A:
Importing is pretty easy, follow these steps:
• Select "My Profiles List".
• Press on the FAB, and select Import button .
• Put the name that you want.
• In Json field, put the Json String in it.
• Press Import.
*If you want to import a file, do the following :
• Copy that file to "InternalStorage/C-Obfuscator/".
• Repeat the above steps, but rather than putting the Json String, put the file name with ".json" end in Json field .
• Press Import.
Q: Permissions
A:
• Internet : Ads .
• Storage : to read the imported Json file .
• Location : Ads .
Q: Conclusion :
A: The app is just a tool for you, and securing your passwords, important-private messages depend on your Profile complexity, the more "To" letters, the more it's hard to "hack" the profile.
Also, don't share any safe, secured profile that you're using for your passwords with anyone, save the profile as a File (explained above), and put it somewhere safe (back it up) .
Q: Ads
A: At the moment, there is no way to remove Ads, i will add a way soon to remove it.
Important Notes :
• The App DOES NOT share any of your profiles/encrypted/decrypted texts, or trace any private information about you! .
• "From" field letters: 1 .
• "To" field letters: 5 and more.
• You can't duplicate any "To" or "From" fields, so no wrong encrypting happen .
• You can't replace "^" .
• You can add a record, and press the "Arrow" button, after that a randomized text will be chosen in "To" field, press again to generate it again .

Then I won't use your encryption program, because there's no way to verify you didn't put a backdoor in it unless its open source.

Also, including privacy violating ads and location in an encryption program? Not cool.

Location permission is needed for Ads (Admob ads), you can disable this permission, same with Internet permission.
"Even if there is a backdoor" there's no way to know the profile, or anything related to it.
And why should i make something bad like that ? I'm trying to make an app and make it success, not the way around !
You can decompile the Apk, and check the code if you can read Smali, or install Smali formater and read it in Java if you're that worried.

It's not using any, you're the person who create it.
It's like normal letters converting, based a random way you're making.
I got no permissions on mine. It's free too w/ redemption code.
I've made something similar, but with no permissions...TextCryptr Pro
also I have some other free apps you might like to try, visit my developer page for more details....

It looks like the characters encode to the string and back 1 for 1 every time. This is not encryption. I don't know if you can even call it scrambling. At best, it should be called obfuscation.
Nice idea, however this is basically a Caesar cipher or substitution cipher, right? So it's susceptible to a simple frequency distribution attack.
Lovely design and concept though.

"In cryptography, a substitution cipher is a method of encoding by which units of plaintext are replaced with ciphertext, according to a fixed system; the "units" may be single letters (the most common), pairs of letters, triplets of letters, mixtures of the above, and so forth. The receiver deciphers the text by performing the inverse substitution." (source: wikipedia\Substitution cipher, can't link as I'm a new user)
As the two posts above me state, this should probably not be used for "real" secrets. Instead think about taking the same design and replace all that string foo with something like AES (found a tutorial).
Keep it up
Since the output is fixed and in your example set to an spacing of 8, with a large enough sample one could brake this, simple method is to look for a pattern in known words, like "abba" that would be
[email protected]$0P 5X$8X$0A 5X$8X$0A [email protected]$0P
Since "B" is the double here one just have to looks for a 4 letter word with a double B, this cracked.
So this is weak crypt at best, there is no timeshift in it nor a proper private and public key.
@dylmye not quite a caesar cipher, but close casar is a +-12 cipher which means you get a string +1+2+1-2 and codeword ABCD which works out to BCDB. also a simple to brake.

As you have mentioned, it's just replacing letters, not according to an algorithm, since algorithms are difficult and can be exposed easily if not "created" by really experts people.
I've taken in my mind that this "encryption" way is close to Caesar cipher, but this way it use more letters and you create them, not a static simple algorithm created by me, it's created by me, and by logic, more letters and complex ones will take a lot of time to decrypt and know the real meaning .
Ofcourse the usage of the app isn't to hide API keys or some top secret stuff, just normal stuff like messages, passwords, and you encrypt them according to your own way and it must be a really complex one .
As first, the app only contains this method, and i will add the other known ways, i didn't want to create a copy of other apps, or " look this app use a new encryption way, it must be strong one", all i wanted is to create a new idea, and an encryption way controled by the user itself, rather than the programmer of the app .
Thanks for your comments.

This is actually correct. At best it is a 1 to 1 replacement
it is fine to write down some random stuff but if anyone is determined to get your stuff it will be broken easily as you look for patterns. We studdied this stuff early on in computer engineering and computer science at the university I attended. They also taught you how to break it and its taught in a beginner level 2 class.
For the everyday mundane stuff like a thief who robbed you it is fine. But Like many said before you do not use this for anything super secure so do not worry about it.
It is an app and it is not true encryption. What I would do with it is just keep simple basic stuff or you can take the information and and put that info back into the program so it is obscured again(this makes it harder as only you know it is obscured twice) that way it is harder to break the pattern.
It is a smart thing to do in a app but i recommend adding additional elements or additional obfuscation layers.
@abo hani there should be an option to lock the app with fingerprint/PIN/Password. Otherwise anybody can get into the app and decrypt.
@OGIGA is right, this is not secure in aby way. Decrypting substitution ciphers is trivial.
If you want to have a secure way to Store passwords use OpenKeychain and Password Store. Both are free, with no ads, and open source.
For exchanging secure messages consider setting up a https://keychain.io account (ping me for invites) and/or use https://hawkpost.co.
Note that all services use some implementation of OpenPGP that's proven mathematically to be secure.
Also read up on PHP and GPG beforehand to understand how encryption keys work.
Great this will come in handy for sure =) i'll use it,also nice icon
looks like a fun little toy, definitely not suitable for anything serious, but for sending simple passwords to friends over facebook etc it will serve it;s purpose well.
Would appreciate it being open source however, as many others would too, always good to be able to see what you are running when it is security related, and who knows, maybe a pull request will be created that brings in timeshift or some other function to increase the complexity if a user chooses.
OMG. Thanks a lot for this! :good:

This application is free, without ads, open source
Feedback and suggestions are welcome
Amazing! The best of its kind!
Flym Fork is everything I wanted a RSS reader to be. It's interface is very similar to Flym which I was already using when I discovered Flym Fork. I prefer Flym Fork because it is updated regularly (basic Flym hasn't been updated since march 2017).
I can easily filter RSS feeds with keywords. I can customize the RSS lists like I've never been able to before (I can see a picture preview, the title AND a preview of the content).
I'll subscribe to this thread with hopes that this app will grow with even more options!

Hey there, I noticed a strange issue but I'm pretty sure I am doing something wrong. It would be nice if someone can explain what is my issue.
I'll show it with a simple example :
https://www.kijiji.ca/rss-srp-meuble-de-jardin/saint-hyacinthe/jardin-de-ville/k0c686l1700151r20.0
It returned nothing within Flym Fork BUT I can see one entry from it's original http URL :
https://www.kijiji.ca/b-meuble-de-jardin/saint-hyacinthe/jardin-de-ville/k0c686l1700151r20.0
Today, I deleted the feed and entered it again. Now it shows the entry.
I wonder if a "restart" feature would be useful for this sort of scenario. I see many advantages for it :
if I accidentaly deleted entries and I wanted them back, I could hit the restart button on this specific feed and everything would be trashed and loaded back again. Right?
Talking about deleted entries, maybe a trash bin with a custom cache time (like 24 hours) would be useful?
I'm just throwing ideas in. If there is already an option that allows to do what I want, I would be glad to hear how to do it.
Thank you!
Hello !
A RSS-reader is one of the main - and the key apps I use on a daily basis. What I mean by "the key app" is that I highly value being up-to-date with all of things I find interesting and important.
Over the years I've been using several RSS-clients. At some point I've met one particular app which seemed promising - but over the time ads were added and using the app wasn't convenient any more. To make matters worse splash-screen has been introduced - which also slowed the app (in the long run I find very important to be able just to instantly open an app).
So I needed the research again - to find another RSS-reader which could be right for Me. During the research one thing I found strange: several apps looked pretty similar to the one I've described before. Soon I've discovered Flym and its various forks, i.a. FlymFork by Yanus171. I picked a few which seemed most promising and contacted their developers (including the original app), equipped with some insights and key-requests which I've found crucial (like - for example - being able to enlarge text-size or switching articles by volume buttons). Only one person answered - that way I've discovered an app which I use to this day. Moreover, the app is more and more convincing and appealing - because new features are introduced, which also make a big difference in terms of both usability and user-experience as such. This is also why I am interested in this app's development: I'd love to see it growing, being more user-friendly (especially regarding average users, which requires a proper attitude) and a little bit more elegant and flexible. All of that is My dream which I'm brave to have because of how promising the app is now - and its Developer seems to be open-minded, generally responsive to various requests, ideas and loose thoughts.
What I find most useful so far:
User-friendly text size:
You can enlarge both article's - and articles list' text size - separately (which is important). It is crucial for Me because of limited vision/eyesight, I highly need big text and only in FlymFork I've found sufficient level of text size in articles and articles' lists. I guess there are not many users with limited eyesight out there - but that "trivial" tiny thing like enlarging text-size to pretty big may be crucial and final factor allowing some users to just using the app, let alone using it conveniently.
Convenient reading:
switching articles by volume buttons, "tap areas" and remembering the position of reading per article. All those features are fundamental in terms of usability, how easily and fluently You can use the app. I use volume buttons to switch next/prev articles - and combine it with tapping on top or bottom of the screen to scroll it up/downward. This way You can browse/read articles very easily and quickly - especially given that displayed articles are automatically marked as read. I find especially amazing that by tapping the top or bottom area - it scrolls exactly the whole content of the single screen - no matter where I've scrolled it before. Besides it's very convenient to have that ability to scroll the text exactly one page down/up - in case if You use volume buttons not to scroll, but to switch articles. On top of that FlymFork remembers where You've stopped reading all the articles - which is also very helpful.
Killer feature: Important Articles (so far it is known as a filter "mark as starred"). I subscribe several RSS channels and browse them when I have some "spare time" between other - main activities I'm highly into. As I've mentioned before, it's important for Me to be up-to-date with all I find interesting (several matters represented by favorite RSS channels). As far as subscribed channels are concerned, among these You may find information which You consider high-priority (maybe it requires an urgent action/checking out/etc.). One example could be posts on time-limited offers: if You check RSS news only from time to time (like Me, during "spare-time-windows" ) - it's easy to miss any urgent info. But if You'd be notified right after that kind of high-priority info shows up - it could be a game-changer. In other words: regardless of how often You are able to check the (RSS) news - You no longer miss anything important.
Read It Later (so far it is called "starred items"). My approach to RSS is that sometimes I have the time to read something - or just to quickly browse articles to pick up potentially interesting ones to read later. A wonderful thing is that I can put interesting articles "on the buck burner" with the certainty that they won't dissapear - regardless of time span I chose in the app's settings. This is another feature I find crucial in terms of how much this app is really helpful and useful in everyday life, fitting in various lifestyles (more or less time to read).
Kind requests - what I think would be a good idea to implement and make the app growing:
I. Nomenclature - be more user-friendly.
I think there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of how the app communicates with users - especially keeping in mind average users who just want to be up-to-date with all they like/they are interested in. No need to be a computer geek, power user, etc. I'm sure there are many users who don't know what RSS is - but would be definitely interested in being in touch with all which is important to them (via RSS channels). It would be sufficient to supply an app which will communicate with them using non-technical language, this way being more comprehensive, avoiding various potential confusions derived out of "non-technicality". I think this is a good idea to care about average people - not only users with the knowledge, however basic or advanced. I'd like to see the app which I could use without knowing all the technical details - FlymFork would be excellent being that way - and in the same time maintaining more "geeky" features somewhere "under the hood" (like - for example - handling websites with no RSS feed!). As a result both user-bases would be content: power users with their needs - and average users with almost no technical knowledge and nomenclature in mind.
Moreover, by implementing various "touch-ups" within the nomenclature itself the app would become more human = more friendly. And this would be one of key-factor to choose FlymFork instead of any other app.
I would suggests several touch-ups:
Rename "Favorites" as "Read It Later".
I think it would be definitely more precise and understandable than "favorite". Imagine You are an average - non-technical user. Then imagine You see "Read It Later" option in the app: it's very easy to know what that feature is for. But why I (or an average user) could "mark something as favorite"...? I think it would be much more convincing to put it as "Read It Later".
"Articles" instead of "entries" or "posts".
This one is a request of similar mold as previous one. Although there are many users (programmers? ) who are accustomed to name things as "entries"/"items" - there are even more users for whose it would be much more friendly to name things simply as "articles": more human, more understandable, without need to think "Do I really know for sure what does 'the entry' mean?". So I highly suggest to change "entries" into "articles" app-wide, everywhere where a word "entry" (or "entries") is used - to change it into "article/articles". For example, instead of notification message "XX new entries" I would suggest "XX new articles". Moreover, for FlymFork to be more friendly I would love to see it put as "You have XX new articles to browse." . It would be so exciting to use an app which is so friendly - on a daily basis ! Small change, but big impact - I'm sure the angel (not the devil) is in the details .
"Updating (which could take some time), please wait..." instead of "updating" - and "You have XX new articles to browse." instead of "XX new entries".
While updating, FlymFork displays two notifications: one is displayed only temporarily and contained originally only the time of the update - the other informs how many new articles has arrived. Since the temporary one is often displayed even a few minutes - it could be a little bit confusing. Fortunately now it has been changed into "updating" - now I know what is happening and why I'm still seeing this notification on the bar. To make it accordingly more friendly (as I've pointed out earlier) I would suggest to change sole "updating" into "Updating (which could take some time), please wait...". This way there is no place for any confusion or uncertainty on what is happening - moreover, users are now prepared that updating can take some time, and it's not complete yet (and this is important information). When updating is complete, FlymFork displays a notification "XX new entries" - I would suggest to change it into "You have XX new articles to browse." - again, to make it more human/more friendly/more understandable. I think many users would appreciate it.
"Important Articles" instead of "Mark(ed) as starred".
I refer to the 'Important Articles' concept I've mentioned before. Many people would benefit from this feature if it would be clear what is it for. I think what would help is to rename it from "Mark as starred" (in the filter configuration) / "Marked as starred" (in the notification) - to "Notify on Important Articles" (in the filter config.) and "New Important Article" (as notification).
"Full articles instead of excerpts" instead of "retrieve full text" - again: more understandable for average users.
If I will notice another instances where we could have the app communicating with the user in a more friendly way - I'll let You know, but those above are essential because they are most often seen by users while using the app.
II. Multiple fonts.
I think the more flexible an app is - the wider user-base it can reach (because it can meet more individual tastes). Ability to change the article font (as well as the font of articles' list - it may be one setting for all) could make more users smile . For example, I would especially recommend the font "Lato Light" for it resembles widely known "Roboto Light" propagated by Google, but in My opinion is more "fluid" and elegant - or less "edgy", to put it differently. Wherever I can, I use Lato Light - it could be great to have it here ! More information on Lato font You can find here (I recommend to read the 'about' section for those who are interested in typography - You will find interesting information there!): fonts.google.com/specimen/Lato.
III. Progress bar.
With limited sight I could barely notice its existence - but it looks like great idea, to have that subtle progress bar accompanying reading and indicating how much we are engrossed in the content . I think this bar would be, however, a little bit visible - and still subtle (I'd love to be able to set My own color to it!). Now the hour displayed next to it is so tiny... The progress bar being so small has no use for Me - but it does would be useful if a little bit bigger and placed on the background (of the color according to app's theme). BTW, not everybody is interested in being always informed what time is it - so it would be definitely great to be able to turn off displaying the time alongside progress bar somewhere in the options.
IV. FTP synchronization.
Although this is not crucial - I think it would be something making FlymFork considerably standing out, especially if You consider that FlymFork "does NOT synchronize with online news feed readers (i.e. Feedly)". I think it would be much better to be able to synchronize several things over the FTP. I saw that feature in Anki - an Android app to memorizing. On one side it has its own cloud with the synchronization service - but on the other it offers its users an ability to synchronize via their own FTP server (!). I find this feature amazing and - although I'm not a developer - I guess it would be done: to implement synchronization via user-defined FTP server. It should synchronize everything needed for fluent, transparent usage of FlymFork on multiple devices. An ideal effect should be not to feel that anything changed when You grab another device. So we need synchronization:
[*]List of subscribed RSS feeds/channels.
Status of reading (which articles are read, which not yet - and which are marked as starred/Read It Later - plus notification on Important Articles).
Position of reading per article.
Last viewed article (if enabled in settings).
Also FlymFork should notify if any problems with accesing an FTP server occurs - as well as on successful synchronization. Besides, it would be good to be able to choose the synchronization's interval somewhere in settings.
I'm not sure if would it be possible but maybe You could add a Google Drive as another place to synchronize?
V. Localization.
Although I'm all right with using the app communicating in English - I know there are many users who don't know the language, using their own native one. In My case it is Polish - and I would be interested in translating the app into Polish in order for FlymFork to communicate in this language when Polish Android instance is detected. What do You think about it?
Bugs:
Multiple "External link" items on the sidebar.
Using the app over the time there are many "External link" items on the bar - which contain an error message ("Error: attempt to invoke...") and seem to be useless. If I suppose correctly that they are not necessary - it would be definitely great to hide them in order to the sidebar not being littered.
"Setting up automatic marking of articles as read while scrolling the list".
I can't find or observe this option in action - where is exactly located? Is it possible to turn it on/off? If no, would it be (I think it would be a good idea)?
I wanted to cover all topics but I think it would be better to publish it now and add any further remarks at some later point - this way You could make FlymFork better earlier . So I hope You find the ideas described above useful.
Kind regards,
Thomas Leigh
First of all thank you for app reviews. They will infulence the app development.

After you have refreshed the feed the last update time is remembered, and the subsequent refresh will only load the articles after that date|time. There is a Delete all option in artcile list menu which also resets the last feed date time. After that operation, subsequent refresh will load all articles that exist in the feed. But there may be loaded articles in FlymFork, which do not exist in feeds (feed contains only last several articles). Such artciles would NOT be loaded after Delete all operation

Long tap on feed and check Show article text in list. In this mode atricles are makred as read automatically while scrolling (It was a bit hard to realized that feature). This mode is very usefull to with short text articles, like forum post which have RSS. (But now it is possible even without RSS)
Buy the way in the next app release View attachment ru.yanus171.feedexfork_0.7.2_100.apk there will be a new feed setting Load type that allows to load the url not as RSS, but as webpage. So we can load the articles from webpages which do not have RSS In such a case all web page links are loaded as articles, and the url is also loaded as article too (It isritythe first). To reduce the amount of links the filter should be applyed to feed. You'd better temporaly turn on Show articles url setting for that.
It is very handy to filter using regular expressions checkbox. But I realize that requires advanced knowledge. But you can mail me and I will give you required regexp filter for your page.

Thank You for pointing out. Indeed it works - and it works in a gently way: not marking articles as read just after they disappear from the screen, but a little bit later (scrolling-wise).
It is amazing feature and it would be excellent to have it working in the "Unread" list, would it be possible? I mean article text displayed also in the "Unread" list, alongside marking them as read while scrolling.
I am getting an error with this link archstrike.org/rss/news

Yeah, i have about 90 feed sources and receive 1K news to read.
I need something to sort out what i need to read and save what i will read (read later feature will be really useful too)
I'm currently using Aggregator RSS (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tughi.aggregator)
I recently noticed flym fork. I's really good.
Take a look at Aggregator, maybe you'll find something to implement in flym fork.
I use RSS everyday.
Thanks for your app.

Yes, of course.
Here is a list of point about why I am using Aggregator right now.
It does not want to be a criticism for its own sake, but a list from which to take inspiration.:good:
LONG PRESS on feed list allow me to "mark as read", "create exclusion rule" and "share".
WEBSITE ICON option to view website icon instead on letters/images (Main page) .
SPEED It took about 7 minutes to fetch all feeds, vs 1 minute by Aggregator.
NETWORK USAGE 90MB used vs 3MB used by Aggregator. EDIT: Probably related to images.
GUI I think Aggregator has a better implementation of the material design guidelines (Layout/Icon/Menu/Sidebar) .
Custom refresh interval per feed?
Hello, I still use Flym Fork and I love it! It's that great!
I do have a feature suggestion that would totally change the game for me (and probably other users) : can we set a custom refresh interval per feed? I have some feeds that must be refreshed every 5 minutes while some of my other feeds can be refreshed once a day.
Right now, EVERYTHING is refreshed on the same timer.. It generates a lot of useless refreshes on some of my RSS feeds. It generates data and battery usage that I can avoid.
Thank you!
Flym Fork+TTS
Flym Fork is amazing app. I promised to write something how I use it. So:
I have some RSS sources with interesting articles, but no time to read. But when I travel or do something boring housework, I have time to listen.
So I often use menu option "share all text" and send them to @voice app. (Resp. option @voice add to list".)
I collect list of interesting stories and when I have time I listen it.
If you want use @voice, you need good TTS system with good natural voices. For me is the best option "Vocalizer", where I bought some good voices. (For English I like UK English Serena, for Czech language Iveta.)
I also use it for reading books in FBreader and "Cool reader" apps.
That is all Flym Fork is one of my most useful app.
Best regards
Pavel
I have two issues.

Hi guys.
First thanks dev, this app is awesome.
I just experience some trouble with the widget which is not updating. Any idea?
I'm on EMUI Oreo with Lawnchair launcher.
Tried to disable all battery oriented settings for both the launcher and this app without success.
Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks for your help.
Miaou
Did you tick the option to let the app always run in background aside from disabling battery optimization? I had trouble wirh some messengers if that wasn't enabled.
