humble request to all the dev from a 17 year old dev

plz help me devs i am using mmx a110 with cwm recovery and zopo zp950 rom running.i am using this rom since 1 week.
i very much love this rom no prob at all ,only prob is that the rear camera (i.e. the 8mp one) is not being detected it says "error cannot connect to camera" and just force closes but the front camera (i.e. the 0.3 one) is working flawlessly.i have tried other camera apps from the play store but no luck.
MY HUMBLE REQUEST TO DEVS IS THAT PLEASE MAKE THE REAR CAMERA WORK PLZ PLZ. I MADLY LOVE MY PHONE AND THIS ROM SO PLZ PLZ ITS A HUMBLE REQUEST.

You can try Semi ROM which has zopo ROM as base which works awesome in the canvas 2 instead plucking your head hairs:thumbup:

[update][detailed info of the camera prob]
i dont have the camera icon but have the gallery icon used to initiate camera (front one) using lock screen shortcut tried , 4.2 camera ( worked flawlessly in the stock rom ) the also no camera icon only gallery icon , tried camera 360 from play store when opened front camera gets initiated when tried to switch to rear camera it says " rear camera not supported " i hope this helps with the prob.

Why to put in system apps and have an headache to fix permission and reboot..
It can be easily installed..
Whereas this camera lacks in the panorama feature.
We can't click a wide picture.. So not a good opt over stock camera,
just a genuine review, no attempt to hurt the developer

Does this replace any camera I might have? I have the note 2 camera which I wouldn't give up for the world and then also 4.3 camera for which photosphere is n great. If this is an additional one then I'd love to have it but not at the expense of one of my existing.

It would not replace your existing camera just download n put it system -app n give permission 'rw-r-r then restart

if ur not rooted then use app monster to make backup of stock camera .... If rooted thn try titanium backup ... Than you can try the camera ... FOR 4.3 STOCK CAMERA LINK HERE

i have the note 2 so didnt need to install it. i bet you might have some luck if you googled "note 2 camera apk" tho

Brother every modification in status bar can be done by gravity box so its not needed you can just upload your ROM,

I'm not sure what exactly you want to fix?? Can you elaborate on that screen shot..
As for transparency, it is better to leave it like that so that users who want transparent can do it with Gravity Box..

I Want To Describe About
The Tick Just Beside The Automatic Brightness.
OK I'll Leave Transparency & I Think For The Swipe To Call & Message And Also For Lockscreen We Should Try To. Seek Help From @rishusngh [The Original Developer] Cuz I Tried But No Results At Last System UI FCs , My SD Card Formatted ( Don't Know How, After Flashing Another ROM It Totally Formatted N Not Showing Anything ).
Also Flashed The ROM Once Again But System Ui Fc ( Not Allowing Me To Do Anything Else) My SD Formatted ( Not Able To Flash Any Other ROM.)
Just Now Flashed Stock 4.1.x ROM using SP Tools.

The lock screen is not working as it is requires some framework and smali files modification its not as easy to port, the swipe to call n msg contacts might need some touchwiz framework files as the lock screen needs,finally as you said the original developer has to help with this !!!
Also @sagarwep can help a bit as he is the first to port the s3 water ripple lock screen to our device.

But that ROM cannot be installed on my mobile which is A110.Can u get a clue from that and help me in porting for my mobile. Eagerly waiting for your reply! Below is the link of that ROM.

For your help just post your log cat while opening swipe to msg n call contacts app and also take log cat while the system ui force closes,I can take a look n many devs also can have some more details about the issues.

decompile systemui.apk goto layout find statusbar.xml/statusbarexpanded.xml or the file related to brightness slider,open it and add those lines next to its name

How to make an app support Lollipop???

Hi Guys
A little help here .
Last week I have installed CM12 and it works fine and yesterday I have installed an app (and the apps very important to me).
But it's look like that the app doesn't support Lollipop because when I open it it stuck on launch photo.
Now the question is : how can I make it support lollipop????
I'm now on stock rom because I need the app but I love lollipop please help:crying:

you will need the sourcecode of that.... and then look if the app breaks the rule of dalvik<->art compatibility (it should not get the runtime directly or the garbage colector etc) for exact informations look at official google anouncments (google it lol)
if you are not a dev.... please inform the dev of this app

SO I must contact the dev I thought that because it installed successfully I can just edit some lines in "AndroidManifest.xml" but I was wrong it's more complicated .

There is a very very useful website that has litteraly everything you need. It's called Google.com.
Just search what you need.
But on a serious note, don't create an account just to ask someone to tell you where to find a tutorial about something.

If you lobe custom rom.its great but therw is no harm in having a stock rom customises to look like kitkat. You can go to syatem folder and change apps accourding to your needs. Can change launcher ,dialer,contacts,camera,gallery,lockscreen,theme and much more
