I tried this a few days ago on my Tornado with WM6. I could search for videos and found everything, but when i tried to play any of them, it said "Network connectivity is very low!!! Please try again after sometime"
I was connected to WiFi and EDGE while trying

You need to install the app in the storage area and not on the storage card.. Even i had the same problem when i installed it on the storage card.
Turns out i had the old version. Installed the newest version (tried on both storage card and internal memory, wasn't any difference) and most videos were unwatchable due to the laggy sound. The picture was ok but the sound was horrible. Only one video I tried worked for me.
This app would be awesome if it worked!

I have this app installed to the main memory(recommended) on my 8125. I've only tapped on 1 video that was Sports that came up in channels. The video played after a 5min. wait. Problem: I tried getting a video using the search box option. The videos that matched by search came up on the screen. Every video I wanted to watch from my search took me back to the Today screen after tapping on that video. Does not work using search.

I tested this application and it's great! Now I can seriously watch youtube videos on my PPCs and smartphones!
It has issues though..
I experienced low speed navigation.
I'd like 2700g support for my Dell Axim X51v.
I'd like a save video feature..
A full screen switcher would be great!
Finally, it could be good if you add a timeline bar.
I am having trouble using it. While I watch a video I have to keep clicking a hardware button to make the video move. The audio streams fine. It also doesn't take over full screen. Any solutions?

Hmmm, I got mine through Mobihand and I got an email from them saying a new version was released. Logging into Mobihand gave me the option to download the update from my My Account page. Handango has something similar I thought. If not, is it OK to post the cab file here?
Is this version able to play .flv files and is the direct connection to youtube without problems ?
Is there any way to improve the quality of the video?

We do not support FLV... what we do is allow you to select the quality of the stream your device can handle based on the available streams hidden (to the public) on YouTube. Essentially YouTube in CorePlayer Mobile or Pro will _ALWAYS_ be better then even YouTube.com because there is no need for:
1) A web browser
2) Adobe Flash

I've got a fair bit of problems with this Youtube integration. Firstly I get a lot of file cannot be found errors pointing to rtsp://*.3gp links, even though I have the quality set to h264.
With h264 YT-videos I also get a lot of stuttering, particularly if there's a lot of action or detail. Some videos work perfectly. Some only work some of the time, and some are unwatchable. The audio plays, but the video stutters. Yet, it never stops to buffer. Shouldn't it? I can't find any way to make it download some of it before playing either.
What kind of throughput is needed to get these h264-streams smooth? I'm guessing 1Mbit is not enough.
I also did try the medium quality setting, but that was simply unwatchable. Pretty much impossible to make out any detail. Very grainy/blocky. Is this normal?
That aside though, I'm loving the feature, if I can only get it working satisfactory.
Betaboy, any chance Coreplayer can work with Hulu.com?
I've just downloaded CorePlayer v1.2.1 and have been playing around with it. I'm without WiFi at the moment, so I've attempted to play back over 3G, but I just get the download cursor. I'll have to try WiFi when I get home.
Although it has the built in CorePlayer button, is there anyway I could get it to kick off from the YouTube web page ?
The web page link kicks off the HTC Streamign Media app. Do I need to make a .FLV association with Coreplayer ?
Also, I'd be interested to know if it is possible to playback other Web Media Content sites, such as Google Video.

Ignore this. I just saw the other thread of enabling the .RTP and .RTSP file associations. It seems to direct to CorePlayer now.
But I still haven't been able to view any content over 3G!
you'll have to wait 10-15 seconds until the buffer is filled enough to begin playing...
and the 'TODO' list has been updated in the other thread... i was going through my network related settings in coreplayer and may have found something

What do you mean by "youtube mode"?
You can't use coreplayer to browse youtube videos... only to stream them to your PDA...
But if you have a specific address for specific video that's another story... Otherwise youll have to search for the videos through Opera or PIE...
Coreplayer v1.2.1 has a YouTube icon at the bottom righthand corner (next to the Media Library one). By pressing on it, you can browse for videos. It seems as if an online browsing interface is built into Coreplayer v1.2.1 specifically for YouTube.
I'm trying to find a shortcut to go directly to this page.
I've also found that browsing YouTube via Opera does start Coreplayer (by having RTP and RTSP protocols compatible), but the video errors out.
So the only means I have of accessing YouTube content is using that icon from within Coreplayer... Hence I'm seeking a direct shortcut to link in from HTC Cube.

Has anyone been able to use the new WatchESPN app successfully? It worked great at first when I was on their 4 hour trial period. Then I successfully added my cable company (FIOS) and when I click on any video, it does nothing. It doesn't even try to load the video.

Video quality is still crappy. Unless they come up with an honeycomb version or someone could hack it to work with larger screens it is not that great
I tried, but the viewing size was too small. When I expand it, the picture was half off the screen. I switched to watching on Dolphin browser to watch my football game.
Revisiting this...trying to watch with VeganTab Ginger Edition.
Any video I try to watch that's not on ESPN3 (as listed on the schedule page) just gives me a generic ESPN logo with "error".
Going back to the schedule page gives me a "cannot load user data" message.
When I view the videos marked a ESPN3, I get audio, but the video is a still frame of the first frame loaded.
Anyone have any work arounds?

Differences are :
Chromecast mirroring is only one of the features of this app (you can also mirror to many other kind of target devices, broadcast to Internet, and record)

Galaxy s5 audio issues
I am able to stream my screen to xbmc and chrome. However, no matter what I do I am unable to get the internal audio to stream. I am using Moar Rom 6.2 lolipop galaxy s5. Is there something I could do to get this app to work with audio?

It might be because of the ROM you are using, but I am not sure.
I'll try to check if this is a problem related to this device, but it would be great to know if it is the same with Samsung's Lollipop ROM...
I can only get it to have Su access like 1 out of 8 times. But Su actually grants access evertime it just seems the app doesn't know. Then when it does work I can't get it to actually stream to twitch. It just says "Mirroring is paused" when I press play. Then if I press stop it automatically goes back to the opening screen giving me instructions for if i'm not rooted or Android 5.0.

App crashes when camera is turned on
Greetings all,
Im running android 4.1.2 and each time i try to record my phone screen it just crashes .It happens when i turn on the camera all and just shows in the application the following message .
Application closed , invalid access to resource .
I did use the tutorial to use the application even thou i don't have root privilege .

Sorry for the wait,
I am able to stream to google with some lagg, but i cant do the local desktop recording.
1.-I can open the app.
2.- I select record on local file option.
3.- I start the recording.
-its recording well if i don't start the camera app on the desktop.
If I do that it crashes or doesn't save the video or saves but doesn't play the full video.
My version is 2.1.5 .

Ok you seem to have a recent version but you seem to have a problem with use of camera.
If it ask you to send a bug report when it crashes, please send it. I'll do my best to fix it.

In the quest of helping you fix this problem , I will send all the details of the device . My device android version is 4.1.2 and its on a samsung camera s3 . For what i saw , I needed the code to run it on root that you guys provided(start service.sh) .I think the problem lands on the class you used for the recording on the application . Once it starts the screen recording and the camera app at the same time there could be a conflict on the class or the resources.

I did all the process and at the end when i open the camera app it looks like it works well. When i see the video the video is just damaged , it doesn't play the full video and stops each 3 seconds . I have to play it again and again and the camera part doesn't show .
I would like to help you more but the Screen Stream app is driving me crazy . With all the bugs and the publicity it takes me like 5 minutes to run the application . If i want to use it again the next day, I have to run startservice.sh again.

Hi, I'm having issues with the audio, if I have it set to internal and enable it to play on my device as well it will echo really bad on the stream (using it to stream on Twitch). Its not so bad if I don't have it play on my device, but I really like to have it play on my phone as well when playing a game.

Camera uses a lot of things, it might also be an opengl issue because it uses opengl for video effects.
So if I understand well now the camera works well, but you have troubles with recording a good video file, is it correct ?
If so, can you please let me know the settings you are using ?
Have you tried to enable hardware encoding option ? It should be disabled by default with your device because it is running Android 4.1, this is a quite old Android version now and causes some troubles...

What do you mean by it will "echo really bad on the stream" ? Do you mean it cuts audio or produces scratches on the stream side ?

On the stream side, it sounds like its playing the audio twice, one is faint but you can for sure hear it. It almost sounds like it my phones microphone picking it up, but I do not have it set to mic/internal (mixed), I only have it set to Internal and then check the "keep on phone" option. If I do not have that option selected it works fine.

I wonder, is there an apk like camera one, thanks to which while pressing on it's icon (or hidden in quick button) one can turn on video and thanks to wifi direct stream the footage to sb's pc or phone?
I plan to go abroad and want to "sight-see" live with my family at every hour (like sth unexpected happened or want to quick capture moment, give greetings etc). -u get it right? but plz no SKYPE coz one has to have an account, log into it etc etc.
Video call isnt an option coz I quess international one would cost a fortune...
