Is there a way to change the activity close animation on the M8? XuiMod isn't working for me, and I would like to use BlinkFeed launcher but can't stand the app close animation where it just fades out in .001 seconds.

I just installed a vanilla rotary dial lock screen on my Hero. Whenever I select add wallpaper, I get the window that first ask if I want to apply wallpaper to the Sense UI or the lock screen.
Is there anyway to remove the lock screen option?
I know with CM6, if I want to remove the live wallpaper option, I just remove LivewallpaperPicker.apk.
Is there anything similar for the Sense UI?

Click to collapse
don't think theres a way to remove that option.. its a lot more built into the lockscreen as oppose to the live wallpaper example.. (when u installed the vanilla lockscreen did u remove the sense ui lockscreen or just move it?)
also, for future reference, there is a Q&A forum, as this is the themes and apps forum - specifically for posting themes and apps..
Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to merge an element of one app to another.
What I want to to is use the "Fade" transition from Widgetlocker as my homescreen slider effect on Launcherpro.
This topic is very hard to search because Transition effects usually mean when opening up a new window or switching between apps, but I want to be very clear: I am referring to the sliding effect when you swipe from one homescreen to another.
Launcherpro has a few custom homscreen transitions in place but I was wondering if it was possible to "steal" the fade transition from widgetlocker and put it in Launcherpro.
Thanks
This is really bugging now. I have elegancia rom ICS 4.0.3 with sense 4.0.
I cannot set a wallpaper without it scrolling when I change from one home screen to the next. I've tried cropping the photo to the dimensions of the screen, and setting with both ES explorer and gallery but it will not set the background without doing the stupid crop thing and making it can scroll.
How can I turn off this annoying feature ?
Edit:
I tried sing an app called Wallpaper Wizardrii to turn off the scrolling. Actually it's done something to the wallpaper, the scrolling hasn't stopped, and I can't put it back by setting scroll on on the app or setting a wallpaper through gallery or ES:

There doesn't seem to be a setting to enable/disable wallpaper scroll in Sense that I can see, if it's really bugging you maybe it's time to experiment with a different launcher? I'm using GO Launcher EX and that has the option to disable wallpaper scrolling.
Having said that, I switched back to Sense and tried setting a wallpaper and it didn't try and crop it, just set it full screen...?
My S3 won't boot after a casual reboot, I'm using Nova Launcher and it gets to the part where it asks me to choose which launcher I would like to use, whether touchwiz or Nova launcher, and after I select my screen goes dark, with the only thing visible and responsive is the notification bar on top.
Mind you, I can fully access settings, notifications bar, the task manager... I just can't get the launcher to show my wallpaper or any icons on the homescreen, whether docked or not.
I can provide screenshot if necessary, please save my phone XDA!
Edit - Nevermind guys, I fixed the problem by myself, you can close the topic! Thanks anyways!
I was banging my head as the lockscreen was not showing different different wallpapers even if I keep the wallpaper carousel app enabled.
If you are facing the same issue, do the following:
1. Open Themes app and select the default theme (Check all the options in the bottom like Lockscreen, Homescreen, System and Icons). Refer screenshot 1.
2. Now restart phone.
3. Open Wallpaper Carousel app (Settings / Lock screen & password / Wallpaper Carousel) and Turn on.
4. Add Wallpaper Carousel to Autostart (Settings / Permissions / Autostart).
5. Restart phone and like after 30 min press the powerkey and you should see the lockscreen is displaying different different wallpapers (That is Wallpaper carousel app is working properly)
We really do not like the default theme so if you like to install any other theme then before applying the theme, please uncheck 'Lockscreen' and apply and restart phone and you'll find the lockscreen changes wallpapers. If you select the 'Lockscreen' and then apply the non default/custom theme, what happens is, the wallpaper carousel will be unlinked and the theme forces its own wallpaper hence you will be find the wallpaper carousel is not working. I have spend days to understand this logic and wanted to share this info to help you all.
P.S: Some says it wallpaper carousel works only on Default Launcher. This is not true as it is working on my All time favorite 'Lightning Launcher'.
this solution working ONLY od you have region set to India/Indonesia. Not working fór EU version.
no
Thanks.... It's really worked on my phone as mentioned above step by step.
yes thanks for sharing your view , i will also want to try it with my phone and after that i will share my result opinion.
