Unfortunately this is the announcement that I just bought a Galaxy S4 mini I9195, so my posts on this forum will be rare, but not inexistent.
My new baby: Galaxy S4 Mini
I learned a lot with you guys and breakup from S Advance is quite heavy, and this is the reason why I opted for a similar phone in size.
I hope you are all ok and developers to reach stable ROMs.

Hi Guys,
I am planning to buy a phone for my sister. But not sure which phone to buy.
if the budget would have been high, i would have bought S3 with no confusion. i am using Note N7000.
But the whole problem is that this time budget is only 10k.
Only Galaxy Ace seems to be a good option but this phone is now almost 1.5yrs old.
Kindly suggest a good phone if not Galaxy Ace. Budget : 10k.

I recently purchased the S4 and have been fairly happy with it except for Verizon are morons and locked the bootloader for most. I keep hearing how great the HTC One is now and I'm beginning to question my decision and whether I should sell mine and get the One or keep this? Would love some ppl's input on their experiences with both.

I've heard some reports of bad build quality on the HTC One's for Verizon. People basically on the opposite situation as you who had the HTC One and are returning it for the S4.
I would stick with the s4 as well.

I have AT&T One X ..now ...
ROOTED ! S-ON! TWRP and Stock JB ROM 4.1.1
And I love my phone now..
I always thought rooting was the work bad guys do...
In 15 Min .. I got my phone rooted and got Rooted Apps installed.... Although it took 15 days to read and understand the terminologies what you guys use.. :silly:
Finally, A big big big thanks to all Moderators to keep the forum CLEAN and useful..
Any Noob can be a GEEK (or Atleast 50% Geek) after reading and going through this forums..

Be sure to visit our threads every once in a while because despite of being an old phone, its still good see that there is a lot of activity going on for contributing to this phone (and its owners). I mean, we are lucky enough to have people who are working on getting almost everything to work on this phone. Samsung did their part by releasing the Jellybean update, but it was them who gave us Jellybean 4.2 and 4.3, KitKat and hopefully Android L too, once it comes out.

So, I thought it's best to give a dedicated place where to talk about everything, hopefully this will reduce OT posts around forums, making them a better place for us as there should be less junk while trying to find what we need.

i got tired of all this roms backups and restore and lose data and wifi. once you instal a rom always there must be a weakness points even if tamirda's phoienx once you add (some) exposed moudles you will face system ui crash and reflash your rom. so in my opinion the official fw is better than custom. [Discusion]
maybe but I hate tw and it's far from perfect in my opinion
