I have just cleaned with some alcohol but it still occurs.
Seems like u have hardware related issue, I would suggest to get it checked by SSC.
But before u give ur phone, make sure u have stock rom with stock unrooted kernel. U dnt have cwm recovery and ur download counter must be 0.

MTP Initialization issue
Hi All,
I'm new to use Galaxy R the same model. I don't know the issue i'm facing is directly related to MTP Initializer or not but the issue i'm facing is I'm not able to access the subdirectory and file system of my phone in PC. At initial When I connect my mobile to PC I was able to access the files and at that time MTP initializer message never appeared as notification but from few days ago whenever i connect my mobile to PC i'm getting notification of MTP initializer to my mobile and I'm not able to access subdirectories and files(music, video, photo) present in mobile although the root folders are appearing.
I thought this might be an MTP issue so posting this in this thread. Please help me how can I access(Copy/past/delete to/from PC) my all files.
firstSmartPhoneUser,
Try to access your files using USB mass storage. Go to Settings-Wireless and network-USB utilities, and click "Connect storage to PC" button. Then connect USB cable and tap "Connect USB storage". If that doesn't help, you can try to connect wirelessly with "Kies air" app, or something else, like MyPhoneExplorer (this app needs to be installed both on the phone and on PC).

That's not easy. I am not sure, but it may work if you restart into download mode. Get the Android SDK and extract it somewhere convenient. Look for the folder platform-tools - it contains adb.
Open a command prompt in this folder, plug in your phone via USB and type
Code:
adb devices
to see if you're connected (all adb commands see here). If so, get your data with
Code:
adb pull /mnt/sdcard/*.* /your-target-folder/
If you only want specific files type
Code:
adb shell
cd /mnt/sdcard
ls
exit
This will list all files and folders. Use adb pull afterwards to copy the files you need to your pc. If you can't connect to your phone, install KIES and plug in your phone via USB in download mode. This should install the driver - you can uninstall KIES afterwards.

OK, I see. Does the screen display anything despite being broken? Are you sure the phone restarted into download mode? You shouldn't hear the startup sound when it does.
If you are sure that the device is in download mode, there could also be a driver problem. Do you still have KIES installed?

OK, so this is not the problem. USB debugging does have no effect if the phone is in download mode.

Your screenshot shows you did everything correctly - but there should be a device listed (some random number and a name). Please try to start the phone normally and connect it to your PC. Wait for 5 minutes, then start KIES and see if you can save your data with KIES directly. May be worth a try.
If this is not working, connect your phone in download mode again while KIES is running. See if KIES detects the phone. Then close KIES, uninstall it and see if your phone is now detected by adb. If that doesn't work, either, I'm out of ideas :|
Please help.
I have rooted and installed SuperSu and TWRP on my device.
I tried to connect my phone to my computer, it gets detected and drivers are installed.
When I cannect it as MTP, the drive on the phone does not appear on my coimputer. When I change to PTP, it appears as camera. But I can't copy files to it.
I have tried with another computer with the same result.I have rebooted the computers and I also reset my phone which didn't help.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you

Do you just not see the device within you folders? Might be a driver issue, I had some problems with that initially.
Also, I had issues trying to transfer pictures/videos from my PC to the phone as well. IT would start the transfer but started crashing a few times before I was able to transfer everything over successfully. But that might just be a Win 8.1 compatibility or driver issues as well.

Yes I don't see the device. Maybe it's caused by the old Nexus 4 drivers.. anyway I uninstalled "Android Device" from my computer's device manager, unplugged the phone, then it miraculously installed the drivers... I'm copying mp3's to my phone now.
Thanks
Sounds like a driver issue. Google "Android naked usb drivers" those worked well for me
