Hey guys, I'm trying to use complete linux installer but it fails because of the enforced SEANDROID.
So I extracted the boot im from stock firmware, opened it with dsixda's Android kitchen, followed a guide (don't have the link anymore but it was in the note 3 forum)and repacked it. I had the boot.img, but couldn't get to flash it not with odin (stucked at the start of boot.img) not with TWRP (downloaded some kernels and replaced the imgs, no sucess) and I also tried it with Heimdall, didn't build the interface.
So after this experience could somebody give me the permissive kernel? For me it's equal if it's a zip or tar... but please something that works ) thank you in advance and really sorry for my really bad English

EDIT: Here I found a gingerbread guide:

It's only for aosp (cm and based roms).. Try to replace the file manually and let me know if it works

Isn't it on system/media ? If not try with rom toolbox or you need to patch bootanimation bin.. Search for it on the forum or Google it

I will try that, thanks
Hi all
As you may know, the Moto G has a ~650Mb cache partition which is pretty useless, since in the latest versions of Android the cache is stored in the data partition, so I was wondering: is it possible to link /data/cache or whatever directory cache's stored in to the cache partition, similar to what link2sd does with the SD card?

Moto G doesn't have an external SD man thanks for the help anyway, I'll look for something else [emoji106]

You can tweak the method, it doesn't have to be done the exact same way.

Well, I'm dumb I guess. I used this method to link /data/dalvik-cache to /cache/dalvik-cache and IT'S WORKING I have another ~450Mb free now, thanks guys.
Do you think this would come useful to other people? Because I could make a thread in developement/themes&apps/general section to let others know this trick (Q&A forum is not visited by many people). I'd give you credits for this of course
Yeah that would prove to be helpful. And you can mention me in your guide but give credits to the site I linked you. All the best, I'll look forward to it!
Hi
I have a XT1032 with android 4.4.4 and root, I also installed TWRP recovery.
How I can install lollopop (standard version or GPE) with recovery?
EDIT: can you link me the roms?

Hi,
Sir, little research and you'll find appropriate section where roms are listed... After that, read a little and make your choice...
Download and follow instructions most rom cookers put in their topics...
If you follow instructions, everything will be fine!
Take your pick. I would recommend one of the optimized versions personally.
