Hi there,
i have a major problem and i would like your help with this.
I have a Xiaomi HongMi phone and last night i tried to root it with an updated root image. The problem was that the Recovery menu was in Chinese and i just couldn't understand what to do! So after i searched the internet i tried MobileUncle Tools. No luck. The Chinese menu were still there. After spending many hours i found a recovery update for Xiaomi mi2. I took the risk to apply it and here i am...
Now i have to remove the battery, wait for 5 minutes then put it back and the phone boots up but the sim slots are not working!!!
When i try to boot in recovery mode the phone crashes.
Does anyone have any idea how can i bring it back yo working again???
Waiting for your help...
easy, just update the right recovery.img in MobileUncle again
download english recovery of Xiaomi Hongmi (Redmi/Red Rice) from here en.miui.com/thread-13092-1-1.html

Ok, i have a doogee x5 pro phone and i tried to root it by flashing twrp recovery using sp flash tools. While flashing i got the error "PMT Changed for the rom it must be download". So i did a small research on internet and i found out that i needed to format everything except bootloader. This succeded. So after that i tried to install the firmware with this succeding to. Unfortunately the time i tried to turn phone on it was dead. SP Flash Tools wont detect it anymore. Please help me cause the phone is not mine and its brand new! I can rate my self as moderate android user. :crying:
i think i have a bigger problem... I downloaded a stock rom for doogee max pro(cause i just realised it wasnt just pro it was max pro) and it didnt seem to be recognised again. Any help would be appreciated. I constantly keep trying to raise it from the deads. Thanks!

On mtk devices a preloader is independently installed, it should be almost impossible to destroy, I owned a x5 pro and had best success to flash it with sp flash by taking out the battery, press flash button and plug it in...
The second huge issue I see is when you used the specific flash tool format option you very, very likely killed the nvram partition which contained the imei, so you'll have to fix this too by generating a new one and using mtk engineer mode which is well described and to find on Google..
But let's go step by step. Check without battery, or if it's a non replaceable you'll need find the reset button..
i have tried before without battery and i tried just now but nothing. Its very weird it was detected before and now no in same and another machine. I am pretty confused and stressed. Hope i didnt do any physical damage.. :crying:. THANKS!
starting to get pretty stressed omg! and is there a difference between MT6737M and MT6737?
i came to the point im starting to lose my mind... tried everything i could, i have 5 days left to repair this phone and i dont wanna pay 85 euros for this. SP Flash Tools wont detect the phone. Tried almost 5 different scatter files,2 different PCs and different mtk drivers. Im losing my mind already
UPDATE: I almost fixed it! I had flashed wrong preloader so phone wasn't recognized by SP Flash Tool. I fixed preloaded with a little trick from here: link. After that i flashed stock rom downloaded from doogee.cc but phone will not boot resulting in a total black screen. When i hot Power + Vol Up it takes me to another screen:
Select Boot Mode:
Recovery
Bootloader
Normal
Doesn't matter which boot mode i choose i just get a total black screen which means i get nothing. Idk what is happening! Any further help would be appreciated! I constantly try to bring it back working with little success and small improvements.
Last UPDATE: FIXED my phone had no juice left inside so couldnt complete boot proccess. Now its all good running Btw someone must pin this META trick link i send on my previous post cause im sure more people out there have preloader issues!!! Thank you everyone!!

I unlocked redmi note 7 pro today ran commands to install twrp recovery, however it showed your system has been destroyed when rebooted so i checked on youtube and installed orange fox recovery somehow but it showed no files in my internal storage but some weird files, so i installed pixel experience plus using sd card but when its successfully flashed when i reboot, it shows nothing (not even "redmi note 7 pro" or the google G logo) but again reboots to recovery
Please help me to rectify this messup, (IT WAS MY FRIENDS PHONE AND KILLS ME TO HAVE MESSED UP IN SOMEONE ELSE'S PHONE)
Please help guys, i have only a day to fix it, i already have a custom rom phobia now. Thanks in advance
Same here bro, I was using Pixel Experience with twrp3.4.0 for violet and when I did a factory reset on the phone the phone booted into the twrp and I wiped the phone and now its only booting into the twrp.
Now I have tried to flash the twrp again from fastboot and now the phone is stuck on the Redmi by Xiaomi with unlocked at the bottom for the past 10~15 mins.
I am also attaching my logcat for reference. I have tried to reflash the twrp but even that did not seem to help.

URGENT!!!! I did everything well except that I used the wrong img boot compared to my model, suddenly everything worked well but my one plus 8 pro no longer has the wifi working. so i will want a quick fix, if anyone can help me i would like to go back and have everything as before, new as factory.
I tried to install a stock one plus 8 pro global rom but the problem is that having wanted to unroot my smartphone I had to do a bad manipulation and my phone is in an infernal reboot loop. In the meantime, I manage to reach the bios with the recovery mode, the fastboot etc ... but the smartphone no longer has the usb debugging activated. I need to find a solution
Hello XDA members,
One of my device Poco X2 is stuck on MIUI Recovery Mode and is not rebooting to system no matter how much I try.
My device is not rooted, not unlocked and it's the same when we buy it from the OEM, and I have been using it like that from past two years.
This happened suddenly yesterday night and I have been trying to find a solution which landed me here.
Hard reset is not a solution as I have a lot of my data which has not been backed up anywhere.
Can anyone please help me get my device back.

hey buddy. did you eve find a fix? i am having the same issue
You can't flash anything with locked bootloader (yes, not even stock rom). Service centre is your best bet right now.
