Hey all,
i have a problem.
im using my nexus 4 with the purity rom.
My system language is english (i tried german too but didnt change anything).
now if i install an app as APK (for example with aptoide or another source) the language of this app is russian.
How can i fix this?
i already tried the "Localized Apps" app - only errors or still russian language
whats wrong

my friend also had the same issue and he tried my method and it helped him.
now his mobile is perfect

i have no idea why it crashes.
it doesnt matter which language i select, the app just crashes after i clicked on it :/

Hy guys, I have install this rom on my phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662338 it seems to be ok with no bugs, but my problem has start a few days ago, my phone is rebooting without touching and after that my sdcard simply wont mount, i have to do more reboots to mount the sdcard. what can i do for stopping that reboot, pls help me.
P.S. sorry about my bad english
I know a Rom that when we overclock it to more than 748Mhz, it reboot your phone sometimes, so it's maybe that.

I've had issues with that ROM myself. I'd suggest finding another one, for now anyway. You may like to try EvoKing ROM
Evoking Rom got problem in french language (I know i'm not good in english) I can't post anything in Android developement section because i have less than 10 post, but There are some problem in french language.

I just looked at the LatinIME.apk included with EvoKing. Apparently it IS layed out incorrectly. Since EvoKing is Android 4.1, one can download and install one of my mini LatinIME.apk's from here.
As for your post count, you're almost there

The problem is not the keyboard, but the Rom.. for example when I got a sms, in the Notification bar there is not "Répondre" and "Apeller" but "Quick Reply" and "Call"

That's the keyboard not the ROM. It's not loading the French dictionary because the LatinIME.apk is built incorrectly. It can't find the French dictionary so it's defaulting to the English dictionary.
So why there are somethings in french and somethings in english ?

We are all going to get different results from the same ROM. So all I can say is try try try until you find one that works the way you like and suits your needs.

I don't know how that happened. I just used to change my devices language with this app with a custom rom and it works and tried with stock before. Try factory reset from recovery

Just did... still same issue... Restored from backup... still the same, can't go into settings...

OK.. So i got my one x and rooted it. But when in Google play and searching... Everything suggestions is in an other language. I tried looking into settings on my Google account, and it says English. But yet when searching everything appears in Spanish or something.
Thread moved to Q&A forum.
Delete the data? And double check that language says English in system settings?

allready done that. no luck.
Still when i just type nova...suggestions shows are.. Nova Biblia Viva and alot of other spanish like words.
Never had this problem with any of my devices

if you add english lunguage where it need , maybe it's working, and changing CSC.......

And in status bar there is still Chinese symbols I can not edit the Rom we must find someone who can do it!

I used usual system, uninstalled member app , remove SIM card---> turn on VPN (i used USA)-----> Clear data in galaxy store-----> Clear data in Galaxy theme -----> Clear cash in Google
Open galaxy store, download member app ..... and i have it in English....

My N9860 arrived yesterday in the UK from Hong Kong. I got the Members app working in English easily enough, just by selecting UK/English somewhere in the app itself (I think). Trouble is, I don't remember exactly what I did and I've now uninstalled the app because....
It's kinda rubbish. On the app home page all the "news" items are out of date, referring to the Note 10 and S9 and S9+. My Galaxy looks nothing like my UK versions of the app on my UK S10+ and S7. If you go to the support link you can scroll down and select UK/English for support centres etc and that just dumps you onto the UK website. It's clearly not fit for purpose in the UK, our at least not very good. You can at least run some diagnostic checks on the phone from the app, but that seems to be the only useful thing on offer.

I'm in the UK.
I'm not an expert but I think a person would have to put a custom rom / change the csc to get it all in English.

I've just launched the members app again and after a pop up saying something about changes everything is in English but I can't see the usual benefits section.
I assume because of my Samsung Account login being in the UK somehow the app changes up to show English and my phone's language is set to UK English.
