Let me introduce you our team....
We are PearCrew a team made for supporting forgotten Android smartphones ! Last year we focused on legacy devices like Desire HD, myTouch 4G, Xperia Arc and S III mini. We faced many problems cause we did't have the devices to test our builds and a recent disaster hit our equipment and we are back to the basics ! As developers, our purpose is to keep alive these devices for as long as possible. We may not have our equipment and servers, our ROMs may be built on pentium machines but we will continue to support the community...Anyway I don't want to bore you! maybe its a bit over-the-top to call the Mini "forgotten" - it's a small but great community
But I really like your approach to keep older devices alive - not everyone can (want to) buy a new phone every year! Thanks!

@akateha Unfortunately been stuck at "slimkat" boot logo for 15min, rebooted and same thing! fully wiped beforehand for a clean install but no luck. I hope this doesn't this require the new partition table.( i don't think it will, as i imagine you used the minis working cm11 rom as a base for your port, i could be wrong ) i am s-off, hboot 2.19 twrp 2.6.3. (

ok,Thanks. so hboot is not the problem. I have downloaded both ROM and Gapps package again, Still stuck at boot logo.
Has anyone else tested this ?? just to rule out user error.

ok, i reinstalled my working cm11 and then tried a dirty flash, again failed!
Q.the device that you took the slimkat port from,it had the same screen resolution?
I cant download the ROM. MEGA says: "temporary error. retry"

Try using firefox browser and try to download it or use mega app on ur phone. Hope that helps.

why not using http://www.androidfilehost.com/? MEGA is producing many problems
i couldnt dload via phone(returned same error as you ) also. i had to dload via pc then copy to phone
ok, now it was working. but same problem here - only the slimkat-boot-screen.

Bug: I am having trouble accessing my storage/sd card, well I cant get to it at all by file manager or music player, etc.
Any thoughts on what I should do, if anything? I flashed ROM then gapps, no reboot. Should I try that?

It was okey for me, I wiped data / factory reset, but then again, i got the real ICS from Samsung. Dont know with the backup I gave, should be fine!

Im using an early version of your inefected rom with synergy kernal i downloaded a while ago. I am stuck in a bootloop. It just continues to restart. When i try to get to clock work to reflash it restarts before i can do anything. Then if i try to put it in download mode it restarts before i can do anything in download mode. PLEASE HELP!

Seems like ur in wrong place, or seeking help from eag regarding another rom
AFAIK eag or other dev haven't made any kernel named synergy for SGR, we have very few kernels unknown, ardatdat, paraj, cranium etc.

I've flashed it. But its stuck at "Samsung Galaxy R I9103" logo. Flashed it many times trying different methods (Like not wiping data/sometimes not wiping cache etc).

If you can't revive your device by flashing the stock ICS then try flashing stock GB via Odin first to check if you haven't bricked your device as per mkochan. But don't wipe data / cache using CWM as it may add to the problem.
Do update here on the progress.

I tried it, but the setup wizard would crash at the end when pressing the "finish setup" thing and then the play store keeps crashing. Tried the latest gapps rather than the recommended one too and had the same issue.

Sorry, haven't set up ADB on this computer yet and couldn't get into the play store to get any apps to get logcats with. Already restored a nandroid.
I'm sure someone else will get one soon enough.
i loved Xylon on my Nexus 4 so i can't wait to try this.
Flashing this right now. Things I noticed, so far:
1. gapps is for 4.2.1 dated 2012?
2. Xylon startup logo is not full screen with the Note 2 screen.

Removed RedPill and I was able to boot after being stuck on boot animation when I flashed RedPill Kernel.
PlayStore is crashing though.
also, External SD Card wasn't detected.

am i on the wrong section ???? i cant believe it
just installed it yesterday as to see how's the current cm/aosp/pa look like. to be frank, this is only the 2nd or 3rd aosp rom i have tried since my first android device I9000 about 3 years ago. and what i can say is, your distro is pretty good. i cant say it's the best since i did try others but from my experience this is a very good one, with some errors and minor mistakes/bugs which i believe they are cm and launcher related.
i almost went to rxxtwiki and register as to say thank you for your work but i finally found it here in xda today
just one suggestion, the bottom status bar in tablet mode sometimes flick and the icons and clock's height are not the same. if this is cm related, just forget it
anyway, thx for your port and it really impressed me, but i will go back to stock tw again (not your problem, just my preference only)

Do you have TWRP? You could try ADB sideload. Not sure how to do it in Linux, though. I Googled how to do it in Windows, so maybe you could Google how to do it in Linux.

The problem with some other AOSP roms I have had is that chrome soft reboots when you accept the location request sites like Google.com, news.Google.com, yahoo.com offer. Other roms work fine like rasbean or carbon.
You may want to test out chrome and see. Happens to me every time no matter what I wipe, clear, or how I install.

Stilll not got this to work at all caused major problems "now need to get windows onto a usb" to then get my tablet fixed ggggrrr first ever problem with a rom ... would not recomend trying this out will just cause errors

Just read back. That's your own fault for not making a nandroid or keeping at least one other zip on your tab. You should be able to reboot to recovery though, so you should heed the lesson of making nandroids. I know how much it sucks though. It happened to me once, and that was the last time I didn't make a nandroid, or keep a good booting zip
got it all fixed now thought i broke my tablet but this rom needs to be checked out see if it works yes or no

musta just made em and put em out there untested i think...
if the dev has untested them they should put that in title or in main post

Honestly probably not as stable.
Its stable enough for me, but I'm willing to live with some weird things happening if it means the latest and greatest software.

My camera's been better as of late (better as in it works and saves a picture correctly to the gallery). I'm using the 4/6 build, haven't put on the newest yet.

Gummy 4.4.4 is the most stable overall I've found. Probably a good bet in order to avoid any "Daddy, my phone's ______"
When I download this via the phone the file is a .tar and if I download it via my pc it is a .zip...... What gives?

On 4/9 and 4/10 with dhackers29gapps (removed the apps I didn't want from the zip) and this is pretty awesome! I feel quite strong on these - best so far and using "A Better Camera" is perfect even with video. Still can't get Dropsync to work on any of the 5.1s, but that's the only thing I've seen.
Thei GApps in the OP were flaky on my phone... Play services in FC snowball on boot.
CORRECTION: I used the 4-8 rather than the 4-7-15.zip Banks gapps which had new Google Play Store app which is what locked up my phone.

Man - you got some kind of bug or something? What app are you using to access the website with? I just used Tapatalk to make that screenshot, though I've been using chrome before.
EDIT: And, what app is doing the downloading? Something's wrong with your process there. There ain't no file on there with that name ....
It's just chrome. On a VZW moto X 2nd gen.
edit: I realize how weird it probably sounded that I took that screenshot from the moto X (I just did it there to verify that I would get the same result using a different phone)
