Stock as possible - Verizon HTC One (M8)

Hello, I;ve bought the verizon htc one m8 thanks to it's cheapest price. Im living in Europe. Is it possible to get rid of all of the verizon trash and make it be almost stock?
Is there are roms that get rid of all verizon apps, so my device won't have any memory of verizon?
And will all of the network option will still be as stock? I mean like FREE hotspot, Sms, 3G and all of that?
Thanks for your help ! :fingers-crossed:

Anyone knows?

Check out SkyFall. Totally stock with VZE bloat removed

[Q] Sprint Phones on Verizion

Hey! Anyone know if I can use a Sprint Phone on Verizion? It looks like the new Sprint HTC Arrive will be a better phone then the Verizon HTC Throphy.
Is there a way to make the Sprint Arrive work on Verizon?

I know there is a way to get a Verizon phone to work on Sprint so I am sure that you to the other way around....
Ok, so how would you put a verizon phone on Sprint? They are both CDMA so I guess in thorey it should work both ways.

Is it possible to flash from Boost to anything else? Sprint maybe?

Hi, My friend Joined Boost Mobile and they gave him an HTC One. He is not happy with Boost and is going to change carriers. He wants to know if he can flash his phone for another carrier like Sprint or Verizon or ATT or T-mobile or is he better off selling the phone on Ebay and getting a phone through his new carrier? Does this Boost phone even have a sim?? He says it doesn't.
Thanks for any input you can give.
HTC ONE?
unsatisfied?
boost is a CDMA carrier so no, it would not have a SIM
tell him I'll purchase it from him if he's serious about selling it.
flashing it to another carrier he would be limited to only CDMA carriers like Sprint or Verizon
AT&T is out of the question
and most likely whoever(if successful) he flashed the device to..... something would be broken
i.e. he might be able to get calls and text but would not be able to surf web without Wi-Fi or get mms.
unless he's a super developer/hacker it would be in his best interest to sell the device and buy another from a more satisfying carrier....(Verizon) is best in my opinion.......
let me know if he's up to selling to me, I'm not a cheapskate, but I'm not a moron either so keep the price fair..
#EDIT# are you sure it's not a HTC OneSV?
There is a guy who flashed a sprint Samsung S4 over to boost so he wouldn't be stuck on a contract lol. He was successful doing it. The guy posted a video on it over on YouTube. Pretty legit I thought .

[Q] Unlocked T-Mobile G3 - Load Stock ATT Rom

Hey XDA,
Does anyone know if this is possible? My main reasoning is to get rid of all of the t-mobile stuff on my phone and then to get the updates from ATT since that is the network we moved to.
Thanks!

XDA would dictate that installing ROM's that aren't for your specific carrier/hardware would be bad; especially stock. Most interchangeable ROM's are international ones, or at least one that has been ported to support the carrier/hardware you're running. So short answer is no unless an AT&T stock port is made for the T-Mobile G3. I could be wrong but that's been my experience in the years I've flashed ROM's.

Htc u11 at&t version wifi calling

Hello! I just perchased the u11 on att and found out that wifi calling is 'not supported'. My phone was purchased directly from HTC unlocked and I need to know if there's a way I can use a rom or force an update so I can have wifi calling.? Or if I need to return and but the att version? Please help. I will do whatever I need to to get this going but I really need a direction. Thanks!

This is AT&T company policy regarding devices not sold by AT&T directly. There is no AT&T version of U11.

unfortunately there is no version of the HTC U11 that will support WiFi-Calling & most likely it will never support VoLTE on AT&T network your only option would be buy a phone in an AT&T store or AT&T online or a used AT&T branded phone or switch carrier, T-Mobile for example, does not have that issue it supports both features out of the box on their network
I know it's not a Press Release but I have two HTC chat transcripts telling me that they are absolutely working with AT&T on this issue and that it's definitely coming soon.
Both chat reps were clearly giving information they had scripted in front of them. FYI

I wish I could believe that.... if only that were true...

My previous phone was a Moto X Pure Edition that I bought unlocked from a retailer. It had Wi-Fi calling that worked on at&t.
I think that there have been others as well.

Unlocked S8+ on AT&T?

Hello all,
A friend of mine is on AT&T and thinking of getting an US unlocked S8+ to use. He asked me what he might miss out on by not getting the AT&T version. I'm thinking VOLTE, maybe wifi calling. Idk. Can anyone enlighten us?
Thanks.

P.S. I swear this is really for a friend, I'm using a Verizon S8+ on Verizon :good:
I had bought an AT&T version of the S8 plus and unlocked it, then i switched the fw to the unlocked version and now i am able to use it on any carrier i want. The only problem is that i have to activate my service on one of my older phone that used the carrier i wanted.
Honestly, won't be missing out on much

So basically nothing missing. That's good to hear. He's already on AT&T but I don't know the sim card size of his current phone. We'll deal with that when we get there.
Thanks, appreciate the information.
I think you're right about WiFi calling unless there is some other way to add it. I'm looking for a solution for that. I just switched my AT&T S8+ to an unlocked ROM and that is the thing I miss the most. Not sure about volte.
