Dear friends i am unable open one website in my rooted grand quatro, due to unsupported screen resolution.is there any way to run my browser at 800×600.i try app settings with no success.

Sorry for my late reply.i am new to this forum.i tried app settings on firefox,chrome and dolphin with no success. the default browser failed to load when settings changed.

Try at your default resolution because it's higher than your device ability to handle,

I've never heard about android app browser which could emulate screen resolution. The best solution for you is to buy another device with higher resolution period.

Hey just i am testing my rooted device. The web site is working fine on my samsung tab3 (1024*786).app setting emulates my grand quatro screen resolution up to 800*480.i know it is beyond its hardware support.

should work fine... same resolution. Problem is getting it though, phones not out and you would probally have to root the evo to get it

Nope. I have to hit menu and select high quality then wait for rebuffer I'm always in a good 3G area. Wish there was a setting to watch high quality when available by default.
The Youtube app in my Liquid under 2.1 have an option to play always videos on High Quality, didn't test though since I don't have an unlimited data plan and I use Wifi.

We don't have root yet so system files cannot be rewritten.
Here it is (install as an update to the current app. No root is needed.

remove the widget reboot then add widget to screen. should work again

Tha kinda worked but now the widget just says 'loading' It links to YouTube though so I guess thats good enough for now.
I had the loading issue also...remove the widget... Go to app management and clear cache uninstall updates... Then reinstall the update and restart... Works fine now with the most viewed videos...

Tried to download on my Incredible but it wouldn't even download in the browser. says the file type cannot be supported on my phone. I have Astro, but its not even downloading the file in the browser.
I'm using Dolphin HD, does that matter? How are u guys getting this YouTube app on your phones?
Nook app now supports magazines and newspapers.....but only on 7'' tablets. Is there a way to crack this app so we can use it on phones ?

My guess would be that app needs to be modified, "tricked" it to thinking that its running on tablet

Does anyone know if there is an app to change the resolution that a paticular app is displayed in. for instance i have been playin a game called vector defence, the native resolution is 800 x 480, and when i launch it on the Atrix 2 all the GFX are messed up or not in the right position, is there a way to fix? I have seen phones like the LG nitro HD are able to fix this problem because there is a setting under the display tab which allows the phone to adjust for non native apps, so it would nice if anyone knows. I tried to search for an awnser but i think i am not using the right lingo.

Download a spare parts app from play store (included in SCV7) and uncheck compatibility mode.. and restart.

Hey guys, just recieved my tablet in the mail and promptly rooted it. downloaded screencast and when trying to play back a recording its just a black screen with a green stripe. I kind of need this because I run a YouTube channel that depends on screencast so I can do gameplay. I could wait for my GS3 but thats not for another week and a half.
Any insight onto this would help. would changing the build.prop fix this?

I also need screencast for work. I tried running it on several roms, including CM10.1, sungsonic and an ics based rom. I haven't tried it on stock. I tried with Force GPU rendering ticked and HW overlays disabled and all sorts of other settings combinations but always just the sound works and screen is black. Maybe you can try on stock rom.

Well this is a blow. I contacted the developers but haven't heard back yet.
Hey guys. I think this may be a shot in the dark but oh well. When I'm on stock ROMs i can open gallery, select video and then send it to my Samsung TV. Beautiful picture quality. I cant do this on CM or the like. What is it that is needed to do this? And if it is something simple can i just side load it onto my tab when I'm using CM or PacRom? Like if i were to take the gallery apk out of stock and put it in system. Would that work?

Think it's the allshare app which is responsible. it is only available in samsung based roms, only works with samsung framework.
